"The bistro was somewhat empty and as a result, it felt quite dull and lacking in atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. The lasagna was cooked and served in the same dish, making it extremely hot. The garnish was minimal, consisting of just a few sprigs of greenery."

"I really wanted to like this place but it was just awful in so many ways. The food was pretty good, we both had a carbonara but unfortunately my partner found 2 hairs in their food, after getting halfway through my meal I noticed that both my plate and glass were filthy. My glass was dusty and also had a small hair in it and my plate had clearly not been cleaned properly. My napkin also had a random stain on it and had to be replaced. Although the food wasn't bad it also wasn't what was advertised, it was very clearly not fresh pasta and it wasn't the type that was supposed to come with the dish, instead of fresh ribbon pasta we just got standard premade spaghetti. Very unfortunate, it should have been a red flag that the place was empty on a Friday night, I definitely won't be back until they seriously review their hygiene standards."

"We booked in for the deal; courses ppn inc. a choice of mezzes as starter. On arrival, noone cared that we had booked, I was later told they didn't have my booking they did. I'd asked for an accessible table for a wheelchair, but no notice was taken. We tried to confirm the deal, but the waitress didn't speak enough English cue a long wait for someone else, who confirmed the deal, then as we ordered said we were wrong, the deal was wrong. A complete disaster, they blamed OpenTable didn't do any favours at all offering us a set menu for which would have cost more than ordering separately! When the food finally came, it was pretty good, but nothing special and it's just not worth dealing with the service"

"It was a lovely relaxing restaurant which was clean warm and cosy very close to everything in the city. The wait staff was so nice she was very helpful which made our lunch very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and would also return anytime"

"I had lunch with my family here while we were in the area. Firstly, I wasn't asked for id when ordering alcohol at the bar (I'm nineteen), which was the lady's own prerogative- and not at all a problem for me- however, I thought it...was interesting since I work in a restaurant myself and by law, would have asked for age identification. The whole time we were served by a lady, who I believe owned the place, and in fact, didn't see any other staff during our visit. She was nice and accommodating. Food portion sizes were big! My mum's jacket potato had almost too many prawns. I wish however that I had not ordered the pizza. It was clear from just the look that it was shop-bought and had just been heated up, which I thought was poor considering the price. Because of this, the base was very cardboard-like and not very enjoyable. I am not a fan of pubs that serve cheap, shop-bought, un-homeade meals at restaurant prices."

"Came for the pizza and stayed for the dogs. Large pub, playlist was carefully compiled, which sets a warm and charismatic mood. The menu is diverse, I haven't made it to pizzas yet, but not surprising if it's hard to resist with just a few pounds more than a pinch, beer bellied temptation. I never had a flat beer when I was here. Very recommended. Local hunters also friendly and warm. Extra bonus points as this reviews in January"
