"Why has this restaurant had a makeover that resembles the competition. Hard floors plastic tables all a clatter if it ever fills up. The plot has been lost along with the unique selling point that any successful business desires. It has had the photos signed by the stars replaced by modern images which could have been purchased at a cheap decor shop. The food was not up to that expected to make you want to return, so I will pass to hopefully better eateries. Drinks over priced and red wine came in a glass that looked like it was barely pub quality. If you are going to serve a good wine put it in a glass that at least looks the part."

"It was a busy Friday evening but we found service to be fairly speedy. The waitress who looked after us was lovely with a winning smile. I had the falafel burger with sweet potato fries, I found it delicious. I am a vegetarian and it would be nice to have a bit more veggie choice on the menu? The Clements cocktail were lovely. Just one tiny criticism was we found the music a tad loud but then being of the older generation we realise it may just be an 'age ' thing. All in all we felt very well cared for and the bill was very reasonable."

"I ordered a turkey gobbler sub and was surprised to find it made with smoked turkey and without jellied cranberry sauce. Unfortunately, the sub was quite disappointing and very salty. My friend paid for it, so I didn't voice my concerns at the time, but the shop really needs to improve their sub-making skills. I used to run a deli, and our turkey gobblers were definitely worth reordering, unlike this one."

"The restaurant was clean and a bit busy last Saturday AM (28/10). The service wasn't the best really, as the greeter kept us waiting at the entrance for some time before we were seated. The waitress did her best to cater to us though she was the only one available. We had the southern chicken waffle with bacon and maple syrup. The food was ok actually but the portion is not a big one so don't have that if you're hungry!"

"When the fire alarm went off in the shopping center and everyone was evacuated, we were initially concerned since the restaurant is located on the fourth floor of West Quay. However, the staff ensured that our group, which included a person in a wheelchair, was safely assisted and quickly brought to safety by a team member. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. We had dined there twice before and loved our meals, but I wanted to write this review to highlight the amazing team and exceptional customer service we experienced."

"I appreciate there may have been issues or reasons (which they wouldn't tell me), and it was the common wealth games. But when I turned up for my booking they had decided to close early and i couldnt dine there. I explained that it was pretty bad service not to at least notify me prior to my visit. The manager was then also very blunt saying he never had my booking through open table also... which I find very odd. Overall, im not very happy with Eds diner and will not be going back to that particular branch. Instead I found an amazing japenese cuisine reataurant in broad street and ate there. They were more than excellent in food quality and service. Puts Ed's to shame frankly."

"There's no point in making a reservation since you still end up waiting like everyone else outside. We booked for 2:15 but weren't seated until 2:45. The jukebox was broken, which was really disappointing since we were hoping to introduce the kids to the fun of an American diner. The staff seemed too busy to pay attention to us, despite our attempts to catch their eye. We ended up getting our own drinks. It was only when we had almost finished our meal that a staff member came by to ask how everything was—too little, too late given we were already having issues with our meal. "The meal we had here for my husband’s 50th birthday was truly outstanding in every way. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special and both Jonathan and Caroline were extremely welcoming, friendly and attentive. "After reading real good reviews, I had been waiting to check this place out for quite sometime now and finally today I did! I mean c 'mon now, the only grilled cheese sandwich shop in London! Who wouldn 't wanna go? Food: grilled cheese it is. A tiny cute place with a very appealing menu. We ordered Mac 'n 'cheese, BBQ Chicken and Portobello Mushroom. For the price of around £5 each it wasn 't bad at all! Though we were expecting something more fancy but it 's cheap and it 's cheese AND we were completely stuffed with just one. My friend who got the one with chicken didn 't find it that great to be honest. Maybe because of all the raised expectations and imagination. Service: the staff was really polite and nice. "Me and my girlfriend have been coming here for nearly a year and the food is always perfection. Joe and Jesse are incredibly attentive and are the nicest couple we've met. The wrappers delight is our go-to and it's simply amazing! Their other wraps are also delicious and their sweet treats are incredible (especially the biscoff rocky road). "I visited Poms last Sunday and ordered a simple club sandwich, but when it arrived, it turned into a delightful and hearty meal. There was a generous portion, especially for the price. My mother-in-law had a pastrami and cranberry bagel, which was a fantastic pairing with her surf and turf. My 2-year-old daughter had a side of chips, which were served at a perfect temperature and brought to our table upon request to keep her entertained. After our meal, we ordered hot drinks and then some dessert. The chef kindly asked my daughter which ice cream flavor she preferred and even made her a sundae, which made her so happy. Happy child equals happy mom! The atmosphere was wonderful, family-friendly, and the customer service was excellent. I would highly recommend this place every week!"

"I met a colleague for lunch at this fun pub with his most famous sister restaurant with star michellin. First, after 15 minutes, no one came to take our order (not even by water), so we told a waiter that was more grunting about it. We ordered four dishes, a bottle of water and two glasses of the same wine. Gruñón didn't write the order. Guess what? I brought foie gras pancakes and ordered duck profiteroles. Now who's grumpy? First, the grumpy bartender tells me I remembered what I asked. Then when my colleague confirmed what he had ordered, he said, “I will not charge you for that.” As if I normally pay for the food I have not ordered! Le Bar is not cheap. You need your home to be in order instead of sending emails to say that you have received your booking request, although they also informed you that your reservation is not confirmed. Then, two days before the date we inform you that your reservation is confirmed. And finally the day before I remind you that you introduce yourself. Because the reservation was not initially confirmed (in fact the opposite) I thought of canceling. I wish I had."
