"My first course had 3 slices of bread with a selection of toppings. 1 was OK (mushrooms in cream) the other 2 were diced tomato and something which was tasteless and both were pointless and uninteresting. With my main course the sauce around the dome of pasta and meatballs was cold, and even after it was bought back to me it was barely warm. The dessert panettone bread pudding was a triumph."

"Have my brother in law and his wife over from New York and they really wanted Italian food. Valentina's was ideal food was excellent, very accommodating for our 2 young children, service was out standing in general and not for a lot more than we would've spent in one of the pizza chain restaurants. The house wines are very good and very reasonable but the main wine list is very impressive."

"The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but the food was disappointing and the service was slow. We went for a quick lunch during our lunch hour, but ended up waiting 20 minutes just for our drinks, leaving us with only 15 minutes to eat our meal. The menu offers a diverse selection, and my friend's Italian roasted teigcake, called pizza fritta, was very interesting. However, my salad was disappointing with a bland dressing. Overall, we will not be returning to this restaurant."

"I ordered a few pizzas from this place. The quality of the pizzas keep going down hill. Im a regualar, have ordered here for yesrs, so they have made good buisness frome me and my family ,however i have had on going problems with them giving me the wrong dip. I called up and said i got the wrong dips , and she refused to offer me a refund on my next order (of just over two pounds! and bascially said that they were not wrong, basicalully calling me a lier. I had all my family try it and they all said it was not right. It had no rosemary in it and as im a regular i order this dip all the time me and my family know how the dip tastes like. I even invited my neighbour road and she was like 'juke what is that! That is not garlic rosemary! ' A couple of quid they could have refunded me or they could have said we will put in two free dips on your next order, knowing im a regular customer, but they instead would rathrt loose a regular customer, and get bad reveiws all for just 2 quid! They have terrible customer service, the customer is always right espcially for just 2 pounds!! The pizza quality has gone down and i think this has been the last draw for me!!!"

"excellent dining experience” 5 out of 5 stars rated on 15 november 2013 new although it is ideal for a pre-theater menu when they visit the hippodrome, eating in milano is worthy to take over the time because it is very good in the did. the menu offers a great choice regarding the price including a fixed tariff pre-theatre that my partner enjoyed very much. as glutton I could not resist the daily special of lobster linguine and I cannot resist that milano was from a generous amount and high quality; both courses were delicious. the tables are beautifully designed and the service is friendly and attentive. I have absolutely no criticism to make (I didn't like the desserts, but I don't like Italian desserts and can hardly blame them for being authentic! . as a pre-oper menu (especially if the opera is Italian! "sora lella is amazing! my partner and I shared the creamy chicken and pepper starter, then the meat had solid calzone and four cheese penne for the net. each dish was so warming, fresh and tasty, and we wish we had the time to visit again on our short trip. eating is comparable, but I would honestly say better than all non-vegan equivalents and it was really hard to believe that the food we ate was vegan, especially the cheese elements of the dishes that were all perfection. service was also a great highlight. the whole restaurant was full when we went on a Saturday night, but despite being attentive, eating quickly came out and the two servers were generally only beautiful. Both worked very hard, as it was so busy, but the whole atmosphere never reflected that they had helped on negative wise to create a very relaxed environment and there was a great uplift over the restaurant. they also offered us some free limoncellos, as we celebrated my birthday, which was really sweet. the restaurant was clean, cozy and the tables were well separated. portions were really generous and cheap. in total just a really amazing culinary experience and so glad to see that this place won edinburgh trattoria of the year 2021, as it clearly deserves it keeps its own to each non-vegan Italian restaurant I have been, and there is obviously much love and passion that goes into the restaurant and eat. can not wait to visit again in edinburgh."

"My wife and I have been going to Posillipo in Canterbury for the past seven years, and in that time no other establishment has been able to usurp its preeminence as our favourite restaurant in the city. Any reviewers who complain about the quality of the food (especially the pizzas and the homemade pasta dishes) are most likely not accustomed to authentic Italian cuisine. As a man of Italian descent (and with the whole-hearted agreement with my genuine Italian friends in Canterbury), I maintain that Posillipo offers the best, most authentic Italian food in the area. As is often the case with real Italian restaurants, the menu is also very reasonably priced. The staff is superb, always making my wife and I feel like honoured guests, attentively seeing to our needs, and never making us feel in any way rushed. The restaurant is conveniently located in the centre of town, close to both the cathedral and the Marlowe Theatre. In short, I cannot recommend this establishment enough, and I always find it difficult to understand why anyone would pass up Posillipo for one of the mediocre (at best) pseudo-Italian chains that populate the High Street."

"We were here recently and I found it on the OpenTable website. We love Italians, so we were looking forward to dinner. Eating was okay, nothing excellent and not bad, not sure if I would go back. Service was slow and we had to tell 2 different waitress what wine we had chosen when they were always confused or could not remember. Place was not too busy, very casual atmosphere."

"itsu is a fast casual restaurant with a slightly higher feeling, but with reasonable trips. the menu is Asian inspired and seems to be more engraved in Japanese. the vegan offers of itsu have expanded considerably in the course of the years to include some delicious offers that are all marked on the menu and on the food packaging. the detox miso noodle soup is still one of my favorites (and it is low calorie, but sometimes it can have too much soultang (depending on who does it) my new favorite menus include the veggie dragon roll (complete with vegan mayo,! the veggie meatballs coconut soup and the veggie gyoza noodle bowl. there are many additional vegan and vegetarian options offered not in my review that are also worth trying. as already mentioned, everything is marked on the menu and on the packaging. most employees seem pretty conscious and worth knowing for vegan options (a more common and accepted diet in Britain, if they ask to have ingredients menu items. (I personally would rate this a 3.5 because it is a chain, but it is pushed up to 4 because the half-value ratings are not allowed, and this is actually a nice, higher quality and healthy food option."

"After a very good afternoon doing the Potter Trail, we came across this wee gem. I was with my Daughter, Son in law and Granddaughter and newly born Grandson. We were made to feel very welcome and the food was to die for. We had a starter of Calamari and Mussles, both were fantastic. I had a calzone pizza which i have to say has been the best i have ever tasted. Compliments from daughter of her pizza and son in law polished his off in no time. Staff were fantastic, on the ball, very friendly and attentive. Would certainly recommend, and we will certainly be back soon."
