"this place is great! my partner and I were several times and never had a bad experience. the personal is always super friendly, the menu is funny (and it doesn't matter that they play with it, e.g. transform a chickenburger into a veggie burger, or add lots of additional pattys! eating is great, the service fast and it is a great value for money! the music is also decent! I was an enthusiastic fan of her local competitor, but they rebuilt me! great place to eat!"

"The restaurant has beautiful, large napkins, a friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. We tried the beef and chicken burgers, onion rings, and milkshakes, all of which were delicious and satisfying. The fries and potato skins were also excellent."

"Cannot write a proper review because after calling in to the travellers rest today about 1pm for some lunch, we found the place closed after passing a number of times this year when ther appeared to be plenty of custom mid afternoon. We did not notice any notice of the situation after taking the trouble to travel there. Not very impressed with the lack of communication for the benefit of passing trade. We have decided not to try anymore times just to be met with this situation again."

"Dove’s brings a unique, lively Tex Mex flair to traditional diner food and vibes, and the service is excellent. The dishes are fresh, flavorful, and come out fast. It’s kind of pricey, but the portions are large and filling and my group of 4 had some leftovers afterwards. Make a reservation if you can— seating is limited and it gets quite busy for brunch especially on weekends. Food I tried: Taco Norteno (4.2/5): The brisket in the taco was delicious, flavorful, and well seasoned, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the tortilla which felt too thick and dough y for me. Tlayuda (4.3/5): I enjoyed the crispiness of the tortilla and the freshness of the ingredients, though it could have used a bit more vibrant flavors. It was simultaneously light and filling. Brisket Hash (4.4/5): Great flavors all around. The potatoes were crispy and well sauced and the brisket was meaty and umami. Masa Pancakes (4/5): Probably my least favorite out of everything we ordered, but I’m also just not the biggest fan of pancakes. The flavors here were just okay. — Price (relative to peers): 4.2/5 Food: 4.2/5 Ambience: 4.8/5 Service: 4.8/5 Overall Value: 4.4/5"

"Friday night was burger night and I has been hoping to get to Dip and Flip for quite some time. B and I took the 40 minutes journey out to Battersea and were lucky enough at 7pm to get a table right away. Obviously if you 're here you try the dip and flip burger right? Right. Dip and Flip burger After the first 5 bites I actually said the words I think this is better than Shake Shack . After finishing the burger I decided it 's as close as anyone has come. But not quite. It is huge which is great, but it kinda drags on in the flavour department and by the end I was eating to eat. My fault I know. Fries with cheese and gravy Who doesnt love poutine? I know this isn 't it, but it 's tasty none the less. Lots of melted cheese and the gravy was delicious I also love they serve a two pint jug of beer here, even better for me is B didn 't like the ale so I got it all. Overall a great little shop in a great part of London. Will return for sure."

"I went there for my birthday and was absolutely knocked away by this restaurant. If you love steak you will love the sharing 32oz trio of steaks with all the trimmings. The food was the best that I have had in Newport and well worth the visit. If your a gin fan then it's a must. They have an uncountable number of different gins that can be made to your liking."

"We were quickly seated at the restaurant, which was a positive start, but unfortunately the experience went downhill from there. It took 30 minutes for a server to come take our order, and when she did, she rushed us to order quickly due to a backlog of Deliveroo orders in the kitchen. Our food took a long time to arrive, and when it did, our order was incorrect. We had to remind the staff about missing wings halfway through our meal, but they still hadn't arrived 20 minutes later. When we asked to cancel the wings order, it seemed like an inconvenience to the staff and no apology was given. It's clear that this business needs to improve its service and staff in order to survive."

"I discovered Dip Flip when looking for somewhere to eat close to the Clapham Grand. It sounded interesting and once I checked out reviews I knew I had to try it. It did not disappoint! When we were seated the waiter went through to menu with me as it was first visit and explained the dip sandwich options, the burgers and the sides. I knew I wanted to try the dip sandwich, after all that's what it's all about! I wanted the full experience!! I decided to go with the roast beef topside, with garlic lemon mayo, double dipped, with a side of regular fries. My dining companion went for the chicken dip sandwich with sweet potato fries. The beef in my sandwich was so tender I can't explain, it was so juicy, flavourful and delicious. (As my friend described her chicken it was like slicing through butter, it was so tender). I wasn't sure how the mayo situation would pan out, but it was perfect. I really enjoyed my sandwich and was actually disappointed to finish. You get a portion of gravy on the side with all dishes, so I finished my meal off dipping my remaining fries. The fries were ok, nothing memorable. However the sweet potato fries were really good, they had a bit of crunch and were seasoned. My friend loved them, and the portion size seemed to be bigger than the regular fries as well. The decor is simple but effective. The staff were really nice and I felt really at home! Which I know is an odd thing to say about a restaurant. I would definitely go back and would be keen to try one of their other dishes, with a different meat or one of their burgers. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!!"

"Yum-o! simply fantastic! portions are large. juicy buns roasted to perfection, juicy seasoned burgers with very fresh tomato and salate. bier broken pommes were tuned by the family our ultimate favs! root bier float was creamy and tasty. our server was top score and just a really cool guy. try the becherhot three spiced patties, Swiss and cheddar cheese, screed and ketchup, six strips of speck, salat, tomaten, red tweebel ... with the side of the beer broken fries a tweebel ring and roast. clean the whole plate in 12 minutes or less their burgers on them they win a t-shirt and braid. my son, a 17-year-old young thought that everyone could do it, he could not even finish even garlic parm burger or all his riders. great place, must try."

"This used to have the best battered cod and piping hot fat chips, served on a plate. In 2017 it got a new name and Turkish and foreign guys. Now it serves flaccid rubbery battered cod and decent chips in a box, at a takeaway price. The early days saw them add a bit of salad and serve a plate, but no longer. But, there is no extra charge for eating in. Toilet was occupied for a while. It became clear after about 5 minutes and the staff member returned. Having had a fag in there, and thankfully opening the window! But the restaurant has an internal shutter and it becomes takeaway only sometime in mid to late evening. It also opens on Sunday, but was shut at midday. Still a great location opposite Bromley South Station and by a bus stop serving loads of routes, and good when you are hungry. Obviously they also do kebabs and fried chicken (again, typical fried chicken)."
