"I discovered Dip Flip when looking for somewhere to eat close to the Clapham Grand. It sounded interesting and once I checked out reviews I knew I had to try it. It did not disappoint! When we were seated the waiter went through to menu with me as it was first visit and explained the dip sandwich options, the burgers and the sides. I knew I wanted to try the dip sandwich, after all that's what it's all about! I wanted the full experience!! I decided to go with the roast beef topside, with garlic lemon mayo, double dipped, with a side of regular fries. My dining companion went for the chicken dip sandwich with sweet potato fries. The beef in my sandwich was so tender I can't explain, it was so juicy, flavourful and delicious. (As my friend described her chicken it was like slicing through butter, it was so tender). I wasn't sure how the mayo situation would pan out, but it was perfect. I really enjoyed my sandwich and was actually disappointed to finish. You get a portion of gravy on the side with all dishes, so I finished my meal off dipping my remaining fries. The fries were ok, nothing memorable. However the sweet potato fries were really good, they had a bit of crunch and were seasoned. My friend loved them, and the portion size seemed to be bigger than the regular fries as well. The decor is simple but effective. The staff were really nice and I felt really at home! Which I know is an odd thing to say about a restaurant. I would definitely go back and would be keen to try one of their other dishes, with a different meat or one of their burgers. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!!"

Absolutely fantastic! The burger is incredible, the gravy is delicious, and the fries are perfectly cooked. The roast is amazing, and the staff is wonderful. It can get a bit messy, but that's part of the fun—gravy ends up all over your burger and mouth. The drinks are great as well!

This burger restaurant stands out from the typical places, offering a unique experience. I tried the Dip Flip Burger with slow-roasted lamb, and it was incredible. The burger was already juicy on its own, but dipping it in the gravy made it even messier and more delicious. The prices are quite reasonable given the generous portions of meat. The service was excellent as well; my waiter Mike was friendly, helpful, and efficient.

Pure indulgence! That is a good way to describe my opinion of Dip Flip. Having tried most of the main burger hotspots in London already, I felt the time was right to try another one, but this time topped with roast beef and swimming in gravy! This is not one for the clean freaks out there. Meat juice will run down your arm whether you like it or not. But it's **** worth it! The burgers are cooked perfectly and the addition of extra roast beef or lamb puts Dip Flip very high on my list of burgers in London. If you like meat on top of meat smothered in meat juice and cheese then this is place for you!

Soggy sandwiches sound appealing? Perhaps not to everyone's palate but somehow it works. Dip and Flip are introducing us to the world of the French Dipped Sandwich slicely thinned beef or lamb, dipped in gravy and served in a fresh bread roll. You get extra gravy on the side to dip the whole sandwich in and then try and stuff the sloppy mess into one's salivating mouth. Definitely not a place to take a first date! Simple but fantastic. The burgers also impressed as did the huge American oversized thick milkshakes. The venue is casual enough for the little ones, however we felt the Battersea branch was a little cramped for too many buggies. Highchairs available plus a separate kids menu. [hid...

Wow this place makes a good burger. I love gravy so the idea who dipping my burger was very exciting. I ordered for take away so I sat about 15 minutes waiting for my order. By the time I got home it did get a little soggy and the bun was falling apart. I went with the burger and lamb. Although I feel like they put the beef instead unless that's just how their lamb tastes. This was gooey cheesy goodness. The gravy is just extra deliciousness. If I would change anything, I'd skip the extra meat next time. The burger already has enough going on to save a couple . The fries are very good too. The seasoning makes them easy to gobble up. I saw they have a lunch combo and it seemed like a good dea...

The Flip Dip sits at the higher end of their menu priced at £9.95, but you can also opt for a basic patty melt (without cheese) starting at £5.25. Using squeeze cheese for their cheese fries and burgers can be a bit divisive—if you're not a fan of this nacho-style cheese, feel free to skip it! The restaurant itself features a cool, retro decor that's trendy in London right now. Vintage graphics from the post-WWII era adorn the walls, and the 60s-style chairs remind me of the old school desks from history class. However, keep in mind that the place can get quite loud. It's definitely worth a visit if you're hungry and don’t mind a bit of mess. The result is a gooey concoction of deliciousne...

OK what was good... it was all ok but considering the price it just didn't hold up to the reviews. 1. The location and style was like a poor mans honest burgers. 2. The decor on the walls harking back to the good ol days of objectification of women including artwork of a woman in a gravy boat, with gravy dripping off her feet ewww and no. 3. for some reason, only female servers of a younger age bracket. 4. The burgers weren't actually that good didn't taste like 100% beef at all and i think i asked and they said they weren't ...pah! 5. the server was pretty rude and not great at getting what we asked for. 6. Overpriced, and the cheesey fries were actually cheese sauce not cheese (eww) if you...

Dirty, delicious grub. Dip Flip combine a great patty with lovingly cooked roast meat, and make a heavenly burger. If they just served that I would be more than happy a solid 4 stars. But then they add the gravy... and I would happily just have that in a pint glass. It 's the surprising second side to the meal that completes the picture. And then there 's the fries with gravy, bacon, plastic cheese and chilli all melting together. Just the perfect level of heat, and a total indulgence. This is not the best burger in London, but it 's perhaps the most fun and one of the tastiest. Just to add, the service here is always friendly and warm and non judgemental ! , particularly important given how...

After much hype and encouragement from my girlfriend to try this place out, I finally caved in and thought screw it, let 's see what the big deal is. We were the first customers in for lunch and when walking in I honestly couldn 't see much in terms of restaurant decoration/layout that was a wow factor. It was clean, simple, plain but then again I 'm wasn 't going to look at the interior I was going to get my burger on! I went for the green chilli cheese burger and a portion of cheesy fries along with a pitcher of beer to share with my girlfriend. After a little waiting, along came this juicy looking burger with a small bowl of gravy and my fries with plastic cheesy goodness all over them. T...
