"Amazing food! They had a good range of options on the menu. I think there'd be something to suit everyone. The prices were pretty good. The only downside was that it didn't seem as clean as I would like. The table was a little sticky and the knives and forks weren't clean but I am very picky about cleanliness. We went around 1 and it didn't seem too busy but the food took around half an hour to come. It was definitely worth waiting for! Service: Dine in"

"It's a beautiful place to enjoy an excellent evening, whether you're going to have a coffee, or if you're looking for a good meal or you want to have a cocktail or a beer. Much of its charm lies in the setting and theme of the establishment based on French art. Both the interior and the terrace will make you feel as if you were in the 1920s Paris. Even the bathrooms are eye-catching and styled. All employees are educated and helpful. Although we were surprised that the ticket included the tip, we cannot complain about the treatment received. As soon as the food, the menu is varied enough to choose between several options and find something that draws your attention. The dishes are abundant and are cooked and tastefully presented. The price of the dishes given their location and quality has seemed correct. It is above other establishments that are in the area, but without being exaggerated. As a detail and if you like music it is worth mentioning that there are jazz concerts some Sundays, something that is definitely worth it."

"THIS WAS MY FIRST TRIP TO A TGI FRIDAY RESTAURANT. I WAS SHOCKED AT THE OVERPRICED MEALS ON THEIR MENU. THE QUALITY OF THE MEALS WAS POOR, I WOULD SAY TO MAXIMISE PROFIT. MEALS NO BETTER THAN MCDONALD'S BUT COSTING MORE THAN TWICE AS MUCH. QUANTITY IS ALSO SKIMPY ESPECIALLY FRENCH FRIES. I WAS SO ANGRY AT HAVING TO PAY £106 POUNDS FOR A FAMILY OF FOUR ADULTS AND A TWO YEAR OLD BABY AND WE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE DRINKS OR DESERTS. I WOULD HAVE COMPLAINED AND WALKED OUT WHEN I SAW WHAT I WAS PAYING FOR BUT FELT CONSTRAINED BY THE FAMILY. EXAMPLE :SMALL FRIES (McDonald sized portion) TWELVE SMALL SQUARES OF BREADED CHICKEN With WORCESTER TYPE DIP Costing £17.95- ABSOLUTE RIP OFF. I WILL NEVER VISIT A TGI FRIDAY'S AGAIN. I MY OPINION NOT EVEN WORTH 1 STAR."

"This was my second time visiting this restaurant, but unfortunately, the staff's communication was lacking. We had to wait 15-20 minutes before anyone came to serve us."

"Overall, my experience at this restaurant was average. The service was good, with a rating of 4 out of 5. The ambiance was decent, scoring a 3 out of 5. However, the food was average as half of the menu items were not available. I settled for an okay filet with average-tasting fries. I was also disappointed that there were no UK beers available. The service was okay, but overall, I left feeling underwhelmed."

"Over the years, I have had both positive and negative experiences at different TGI Friday's locations. However, I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to the one in Newcastle."

"In my opinion, the dining experience at this restaurant is typical American - large portions, decent quality but not the best, and the desserts are delicious if you have room for them, although they can be overly sweet so I usually only take a few bites. I believe that TGIF should receive more recognition for their cocktails, especially when the bartenders put on a show."

"We have visited here on many occasions and found the food to be okay. Sadly the welcome seems to be a struggle for the existing staff these days. Visited and the pub was freezing cold when we asked if the heating could be turned on it was explained it was on …..but broken. Not helpful and the fire was totally inadequate. This is a beautiful old building so has its limitations but no heat when it’s 8 degrees is not acceptable. The food is okay fairly basic but well presented. A smile goes a long way and hides all kind of problems…..sadly missing from this team. We shall not be returning."

"Top notch bistro in Cambridge, just a few minutes' walk from the centre. Excellent food, well-presented and perfectly cooked. This is one of the few places we've been to where choosing from the menu was quite a dilemma! If we were local, we'd be back to try different dishes. There's also an excellent wine list which has many and varied wines that are reasonably-priced. I also like that they had a decent dessert wine selection with recommended pairings for each of their desserts. All-in-all, excellent food, first-class service from James, and great value considering the quality. Highly recommended."

"Good food, great atmosphere etc but yet again let down by poor service hard work to get drinks and no desert menu offered, staff perhaps disappeared upstairs to listen to the music. Shame they added whopping service charge to the bill!"

"My daughter booked this pub as she was staying in the area and we travelled from Hampshire and our journey was certainly worth it. We shared between the 3 of us a grilled calamari starter and a cheese souffle. All extremely good, with lots of flavour. We all chose the roast chicken dinner and it was a struggle to finish it as the portions were very generous, excellent roast potatoes and accompanying vegetables (see photos). The corn fed chicken was perfect. No room for desserts unfortunately. Served by Tony, very friendly and engaging and we thought the bill was reasonable for such good quality food. Lovely rustic but not in a shabby way pub with a nice ambience on a Sunday lunchtime. I would love to try their other offerings."

"This local pub is amazing. Great selection of drinks. It is a little more expensive than your every pub but not by much, however you are paying for quality food and the service is amazing. Staff are very attentive and friendly. The pub owner goes out of his way to make sure your visit is a pleasant one. Food is amazing quality. I can totally recommend the steak sandwich with rosemary fries. The outdoor area is great when it's sunny and you are shielded in from the street. I am not going to lie. I am a frequent flyer at this place because the standards are consistently high."

"I took 4 friends to TOAST today for lunch none of whom had experienced the pleasure before.......... and WHAT A PLEASURE . The food and the service were second to none. I have to say that all the staff were so very attentive and...didn't forget one single thing we asked for even though they were extremely busy! Needless to say, my friends were well impressed and I breathed a sigh of relief its always difficult recommending anywhere to people. It was just great thanks to everyone, including the chef!! "Let’s start with the good. Menu is good and our server was very nice. The rest was just awful. My wife ordered a salad with extra tomatoes. The salad shows up with 1/2 a spoonful of tomatoes. She also ordered broccoli as a side. It shows up cold. I ordered a French Dip sandwich. The prime rib was so undercooked it was disgusting. I asked for well done crispy fries. I received lukewarm undercooked fries. I ordered coleslaw. After mentioning that it didn’t come out with my meal, it comes 15 minutes later. We asked to speak with the manager. She gives us a $25 voucher for the next time (which is useless since we’re traveling and don’t have a location in our state). She also gives us a free piece of chocolate cake with ice cream. My wife asked to leave the ice cream off. The cake shows up with ice cream. The chocolate cake was some strange concoction that tasted like mush. This was certainly the worst restaurant that I’ve been to in 10 years. No exaggeration… just awful"

"Wow! We stopped by for lunch today since we were nearby, and although it was already bustling, the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff managed to fit us in. We’re so glad they did! Everything on the menu sounded delicious, but we weren’t quite ready for a big meal, so we ordered a Croque Madame and a French Dip from the smaller plates section, along with a side of chunky chips just to be safe. Even though they were clearly busy, the service was prompt, and the food was outstanding. The portion sizes were generous, especially the Croque, which was bursting with flavor. Even the chips were among the best we've ever had! If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving it a try. If everything else is as good as the food we enjoyed, you're in for a real treat!"

"Came here with my husband last week after great reviews on trip advisor. Not busy so service was good and quick. Haggis bon bons were delicious. Never tried them before. We both then had steak with garlic and rosemary cubes potatoes. Very nice. Would recommend and not too expensive. When back in Glasgow would return. Wine accompaniment was the nicest (white) and husband enjoyed the red."

"We recently hosted our Mum’s 60th birthday party at Rosie Lea’s and it was incredible. From the first meeting with Mikey all the way through to the evening of, with Rachel, Steve, Chloe and Lizzy, we were so well looked after. We had the party in the heated decked marquee in the garden and even in October it was lovely and warm. The atmosphere was perfect and we were able to use and move around the space as we wished which was plenty of room to accommodate 30 people. The food was delicious and the birthday cake was so beautiful. Everything was handled by the Rosie Lea’s team, we barely had to lift a finger! If you’re considering Rosie Lea’s for your next event, absolutely do it. I can’t recommend them enough."

"we booked a table for the brunch this morning and I was a little worried that the employees might have been a little, we say, "delicate ', after the celebration of the profit of the carlisle living best restaurant award on Friday night. but I had nothing to fear that eating was great and the staff was amazing our waitress overheard me mentioning that it was my friend birthday weekend, and without us asking, she surprised with ice and the most impressive candle *firework) and the whole experience was simply wonderful and made her day! .two of our group came all the way from newcastle just for the brunch and we're back!"

"The Ram Restaurant and Brewhouse is a reliable option, though it may not be a must-visit spot. Situated at Kent Station near the cinema, the Ram is a spacious, rather unremarkable establishment serving standard American fare, from burgers to pizza. While they may not excel in any specific dish, everything is quite tasty. I appreciate their monthly rotating specials, and the prices are unbeatable—seriously, the portions are enormous for lower prices compared to most sit-down restaurants. The food is served quickly. However, I find their cocktails to be rather forgettable and wouldn't recommend them. None of the cocktails, from their margaritas to cosmopolitans, have been impressive; they often taste like they're made from convenience store premixes and are served in oversized glasses. Service tends to be hit or miss—I've encountered servers who wouldn't make eye contact, some who seemed annoyed by my presence, and others who were friendly and welcoming. It's simply inconsistent. If you're looking for solid, inexpensive food, the Ram is a good choice. Just keep your expectations in check, and you won't be let down."
