"We were looking forward to being treated to a Father’s Day lunch at this long standing restaurant where we used to eat very regularly for many years. Our starters were good. Calamari were crisp. Excellent burrata Pugliese. However, the polpette di Vitello arrived luke warm. When my husband commented to the waiter, he was (quite correctly) told that the serving dish was hot. There was an arrogance in the attitude to a legitimate complaint that made us feel that the customer can never be right, even when he has a just cause, as we indeed had. My cotoletta Di vitello alla Milanese was dry and overcooked. The cheesecake had an unpleasant aftertaste and was served with a tasteless, over-sweet strawberry sauce. The service was very sluggish, despite the large number of staff. We felt that this has become an overpriced, very mediocre restaurant"
