The service was fantastic, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was great even on a quiet Tuesday lunchtime. I couldn't find any faults at all. I will definitely be going back if I'm in the area again.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant in London. You won't find better quality food, a more diverse wine selection and authentic ingredients. The service is always exceptional whether you're in a large party or a couple. If you visit, you absolutely must have the calamari!

Absolutely excellent. Good brilliant hot and tasty. Staff exceptionally pleasant and accommodating. I had a layered tomato and mozzarella bake for starters followed by spinach and ricotta ravioli in a rich tomato sauce. Just a shame we don’t live closer as we would be frequent clients.

This is a Notting Hill eaterie popular with locals. It is good for those informal gatherings with family and friends. Our particular favourite dishes are the lobster spaghetti (large portion), seared tuna salad and the mille feuille dessert. Well priced for the location. The service can be hit-and-miss.

There is no better restaurant in Notting Hill than this friendly, warm, and welcoming spot. It truly embodies the community spirit and is led by the excellent Gustavo. We have visited many times and always enjoy the diverse menu, from pasta and antipasto to grilled fish and delicious meats paired with great wines. We were looking forward to being treated to a Father’s Day lunch at this long standing restaurant where we used to eat very regularly for many years. Our starters were good. Calamari were crisp. Excellent burrata Pugliese. However, the polpette di Vitello arrived luke warm. When my husband commented to the waiter, he was (quite correctly) told that the serving dish was hot. There was an arrogance in the attitude to a legitimate complaint that made us feel that the customer can never be right, even when he has a just cause, as we indeed had. We were looking for a late lunch (14:00 and was not expecting the quality of food. Figuring another Italian restaurant (as they appear on almost every corner we had a pasta with veal sauce, a charred veal dish, and a Branzino dish which were all excellent and tasted fresh and well-sourced. Even the calamari starter was tender and tasty without the deep-fried saturation of oil. All of us enjoyed our meal without reservation. Staff was courteous, and the place was not crowded so cannot comment on table distance compliance with Covid-issues very present. Your first impressions are you could be at a noisy crammed French brasserie all be it atmospheric. Unfortunately through no fault of the restaurant we felt very uncomfortable in such surroundings in the current climate Along the wall the tables are so tight that it is a real challenge for a customer to extricate themselves from their seat.The tables are small so you are very close to those you are dining with.Social distancing is well night impossible for tables crammed into such a small space It is obviously a personal opinion whether you feel uncomfortable or not even when covid regulations are being followed Yes we did enjoy the meal immensely.
