"I feel harsh giving 3 star because the chef was amazing and that’s the main thing but it’s a tiny place it’s like someone’s house kitchen TV just has normal tv on while the woman sits on the sofa . I don’t think she’s being rude on purpose but she is just rude hardly speaks and when she does she speaks to you like you’re not a customer . She wasn’t bringing out the drinks we ordered so we asked after about 10 minutes she then spoke to a man who went to the shop and came back with some drinks in a bag (what I ordered) feel abit robbed from that . The bill was £54 she didn’t show any receipt but we got 2 Cobras 1 sprite 2 papadoms 1 Chicken lollipop starter Nan basket 1 salad 1 chicken byrani 1 savannah special So probably some service charge added on to get to that price as the 2 mains only came to £20 from what I remember looking at the menu so we’ve some how spent £34 on rest I wouldn’t go back felt way to awkward watching itv in someone’s kitchen"

"I loved this place first time that I went to take. as a zöliakie it was great to have some possibilities, and the personal I interacted with this day was a joy. I decided to take a friend to eat in ' a week or so later and had a very bad experience. I didn't want to write a review and just avoid the caffee forward, but I think I owe it to whoever managed to report on a particular employee who made it so unhappy for us. my friend and I both introduced our babies, both around the one-year-old brand, so still take milk. my friend and I had brought both bottles, and we will feed our babies while we...read more"

" attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was vibrant and inviting. The food was flavorful and well-presented. I would highly recommend trying their street food dishes, they offer a unique and delicious dining experience. Overall, a great place for Indian cuisine in a fine dining setting."

"I called to make a reservation and the phone line was busy. However, they promptly returned my call, which was perfect. The welcome at the restaurant was friendly and welcoming, making us feel like regulars even though it was our first time there. The food was the best we have had in the KT area. The service was also exceptional. Overall, it was a wonderful evening with delicious food!"

"Wonderful meal at The Tigers Pad. This is a favourite local restaurant of mine and my family and I suggested it as a venue for a Christmas get-together to a group of friends some of whom hadn't eaten here before. Excellent authentic Indian food, wonderful service and a real buzz about the place. This is a family run restaurant and they look after their guests beautifully. My friends all loved it and vowed to return. Thank you for a great evening."

"The food is good but they can't make a decent lassi. Service was erratic. The table was not cleaned after the mains and before dessert. Saturday night was quite empty downstairs. Upstairs was a party and very noisy with their own music blaring. It's not a private room; it's open and clearly visible from downstairs so not ideal for diners wanting to chat. Management has changed hands in the past year again. Iron out these kinks and it would be a great place."

"We stopped in here on a whim for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is a casual and cosy vibe and the food was wonderful. We were a little unsure of what to try, so asked for some recommendations from the waiter who was very helpful and made excellent choices. This excluded the buttered chicken as that was my partner's own choice. It was very nice if you like that dish but paled in comparison to the rich flavours in the other dishes. The only down side was that we were pressed for time and was unsure if we had time for dessert. The waiter gave a very poor estimation of their arrival which left us rushing to eat and exit to make our reservation. Overall though I would definitely go again, the food was delicious and definitely worth a try for a modern take on Indian cuisine."

"When I ate in this restaurant first, it was really good value for money as I booked the 50% offer. However, the menu had changed and prices have increased. Nevertheless, the food is delicious and not oily, but a bit too spicy. I would be good if they could give the opportunity to make the dishes mild, medium or hot. Service was really good and fast. The staff is very attentive. I will definitely go back, but only if open table or restaurant had the 50% offer!"

"My two friends and I visited Nimboo on a Friday night. The restaurant was only half full, so we were seated next to a wall. I placed my soft leather handbag on the floor next to my chair and ordered the fish curry, which unfortunately was disappointing. The dish resembled a thick tomato soup with small bits of fish. When I picked up my bag, I discovered it was wet and the leather had become soft like a sponge, ruining it. There was a leak next to me, so I informed the waitress who seemed unsure of the issue. The waiter brought a folded tablecloth to soak up the water, but did not address my damaged bag. As I walked to the bathroom, I noticed cartons on the floor to absorb the leaking water. I was puzzled as to why we were seated at that table when they were aware of the leak. I have no plans to return to Nimboo after this experience."

"here's a must! the inner is beautifully illuminated, music plays in the background and the personal is incredibly friendly and that is all before I even mention the eating. I don't think they'll ever find better Indian food than that. I wasn't even hungry to go in, but ended up eating so much because it was too tasty to resist, plus it's a great value ratio. I've been twice as far and will be back for more with my friends!"

"My brother and I were looking for a restaurant in Reading to take our mother for lunch on Mothers day. I went for the Royal Tandoori because of the reviews and booked through open table. My brother went to check out the restaurant after I received confirmation of my booking and was told that there was no record of it. They took a booking from him. Staff were pleasant and accommodating even though we arrived very late for lunch and the kitchen was about to close. The food and service were good but we felt rushed. I referred to the booking I made but they maintained that there was no record even though I showed them my email confirmation. I would recommend this restaurant but to avoid disappointment, double check your booking before you go."

"had a wonderful meal here recently. the aromen and combinations were fantastic. we had a cashew, methi-style pornstar and a corma pornstar. both were amazing as the next-courts and the popadoms. I eat here and abroad a lot of Indian food and found this one of the best I have eaten so far. the it area above is quite atmospheric and I found the staff quiet and somewhat slow, but eating was all we were interested. they have an early bird special I found to have limited dishes on my taste. I enjoyed the main menu much better definitiw it is worth when in belfast. I'm sure it's one of us who went by or drove past due to the situation, but next time...read more"

"We went there on a Monday night and found it quite full. After a 10 minute wait we we shown to a table and handed menus. After another wait we were asked if we wanted drinks. After yet another wait the drinks arrived and our order was taken. A full hour after we entered the restaurant our meal was served. During this time I was able to observe what was happening. There was only one person who was doing everything. Clearing tables, taking orders, serving drinks, setting tables etc. Given that the restaurant was busy its no wonder everyone was waiting ages for service. The food when it arrived was simply delicious. It was almost worth the hours wait. I'll definitely visit again but at the weekend. Hopefully there will be more staff on duty."

"Being a Geordie I have been spoilt with Bangladeshi cuisine (huge Banglashi comminty up north) so it was exciting to try an Indian cuisine which was a little different to the norm. The menu was explained to is with pride and insight and we were not disappointed with the food it was very good. The Masala Dosa was delicious as was the lamb dish (mint and corriander) and the aubergine dish with peanut sauce We have already told our Bristolian friends that they must visit and we hope to be back soon!"

"This is the worst experience I have ever had. I really wish I could get my money back. It was very loud, disorganized and terrible overall. The waiters didn't know which tables belonged to them. The people there were incredibly loud, enough to visibly disturb everyone else, and nobody did anything about it. The food was badly seasoned and cooked. The portions were tiny. Never come here, never. It is a terrible hotel restaurant."

"Birmingham is one of the two capitals of Indian food in England (the other one being Bradford). It is home to Balti dishes, and Balti houses abound all over the city. With so many great-tasting and reasonably-priced Indian food options around, it is quite impressive that a higher end, pricier Indian restaurant like Pushkar has established a loyal clientele. Pushkar sets itself apart from other Indian restaurants in the area due to its upscale setting, the high quality of its food ingredients, and especially its creative dessert offerings. My first dining experience at Pushkar was purely by chance. I was staying near Brindley Place, and happened to be walking past the restaurant, when I decided to stop and check out the menu. The duck masala sounded interesting, so I decided to try it, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The thick tomato-based curry had a fantastic flavor profile that consisted of garlic, ginger, black pepper and red chilies. It paired well with basmati rice and a side of raita. Since my first visit, I have dined at Pushkar a few more times, and have always enjoyed everything I have tried. The murgh korma stands out as a rich, creamy, nutty curry dish that is perfect for you if you are in the mood for something less spicy. The innovative desserts at Pushkar are a major draw for me. The gajar ka halwa tart with pistachio ice cream is my personal favorite. The garam masala brulee sounded interesting, but didn't taste too different from regular crème brulee; the garam masala in it was really only a hint of cinnamon. It still was pretty tasty. The chocomosa is a filo samosa filled with chocolate and roast almonds, and is served with a scoop of cappuccino ice cream. Why had nobody else ever thought of creating a chocolate samosa, and if they did, why had I never eaten one before? Friends, if you find yourselves in Brummy, you must treat yourselves to a meal at Pushkar. It is truly deserving of all of the awards that have been bestowed upon it, including the 2015 British Curry Award, the 2015 Best of Broad Street Award, and the 2015 English Curry Award."
"Our evening was ruined by a very loud group of very drunk people on an adjacent table who shouted down the rest of the restaurant throughout the evening. We could not hear a word of our own conversation and our young daughter was nearly in tears. I asked the waiters to intervene nether they nor the manager did, other than continuing to serve the group wine beer. The food here may be good but it was irrelevant. I will never go again and advise others to be very careful. It’s a tiny room. My evening was ruined."
"the best curry I've eaten for a long time, I ordered the chicken bemisaal and it's as it explains incomparable in the menu. when it first arrived at the table, the aroma of zimt and nelke mouthwater was and yet once I started eating, it was not at all about powering. the chicken was perfectly boiled to the melting point of melting in mouth and the perfect balance of everything. I went with my family and was very impressed by the advice offered for the likes and dislikes of my young children who, by the way, cleared their teller!. the restaurant itself is very open and spacious and currently follows all Kovid restrictions with clear signs everywhere. we can't wait, back very soon."

"My wife and I went here for our anniversary meal on Saturday. We ordered a la carte. The service from start till finish was amazing. The tandoori chicken is absolutely yummy ! We loved our mains the only disappointment was that one of our mains came really late however they realised this themselves and didn't charge us for it and gave us free hot drink and dessert. We will definitely visit again. Book in advance to avoid disappointment."
