"Very poor, non friendly , slow to attend , did not make any attempt to engage the customer , very slow service. I could go on. Mussels started game with roughly six broken mussel shells, floating in a bath of tomato chopped onion with a few pieces of chilli, no accompanying bread, unceremoniously dumped on the table to start, was not asked if I enjoyed it just lifted when the waiting staff thought I had finished. Our first round of drinks (two cokes and bottle of sparkling water took that long to come we didn't get asked if we wanted another. Main courses tasted nice and was generous in size. First time I have went to an Italian based restaurant and there has not been a tirimisu on the menu.. £60 total and £5 tip which if I was on my own would not have left, I hope it goes to the chef for their efforts because it was much better than the waiting staff. Glad I am not a tourist"

"Don’t know what’s happened to Zucca but it’s not the restaurant it used to be. Sat next to the bar where the waitress was clattering everything about, doesn’t make for a relaxing evening. When you charge £34 for a fillet steak you would expect it to be top notch but instead it was chewy and not a good cut of beef. Truffle and Parmesan fries had to ask for Parmesan to sprinkle over them!! Arrabbiata was passable but have had better elsewhere. Deserts cheesecake, couldn’t get the spoon through the base, described as vanilla and honeycomb flavour but tasteless, really poor. Pineapple carpaccio with the panna cotta should be thin not chunks, think they desperately need a pastry chef. Staff disengaged! Overpriced mediocrity!"

"Bank Holiday Monday in Stamford. Most places are shut, and the town is a lot quiter than usual... My wife is MADLY hungry, and insists we choose somewhere QUICKLY (this isn 't a request! , so we head into the very first place we come across No1 Kitchen. We 'd glanced at the menu on the way in, but our only real concern was that it was open, and it had food. A very friendly waitress showed us to our table, in a lovely corner spot, and I availed myself of the facilities, which were spacious and pristinely clean (something of a 'yardstick ' for us in terms of a well looked after restaurant... The waitress was soon back for our drinks order, and once she 'd delivered our Cokes we went for the Hot and Spicy Burger, with twisty fries, and a Mediterranean Lamb Burger, with corn on the cob. This too arrived promptly, with various Heinz condiments, and everything was hot and fresh! Both burgers were utterly SPLENDID, and we agreed they were The Real Thing, and particulary suited to discerning adults. There were PLENTY of twisty fries, which were crispy, well presented, and nicely seasoned. The burgers were deceptively filling, and my wife couldn 't quite manage hers, but even whilst eating we were planning our next visit, to try out other burger options. Overall, this was nothing short of a Perfect Lunchtime Visit, and we 'd enthusiastically recommend it to other burger lovers! Even if I tried my hardest, there was absolutely NOTHING to fault about this gorgeous restaurant, and we 're amazed to have never seen/visited before. It won 't be long before we put this right..."

"This pizza restaurant is extremely expensive for what you get. The pizza was dry with very little sauce or cheese and the toppings were also dry and tasteless. The atmosphere was lacking, with the decor feeling like a generic coffee-colored unit with minimal Italian touches. The staff were friendly enough, but seemed embarrassed to serve the lackluster food. The price per person ranged from £10 to £20. Overall, the food was disappointing."

"This place has gone completely downhill. I've been a customer in here for years and I won't be back after the service I have received today. The waitresses were inattentive. We had to ask for cutlery after our food was served. We had to ask for drinks twice. When the bill came we had been overcharged. The waitress stood over us with the card machine impatiently, probably because she didn't want to give us time to check the bill. It was utter rudeness. I don't know if this place has changed hands, but it's definitely not the place it used to be."

"We called ahead the day before to inquire about their vegan options and they were able to offer us three starters, two mains, and one dessert. We enjoyed the gnocchi made in-house, mushroom dish, and affogato. The mushroom dish was fantastic and the gnocchi was the best we've ever had. The staff at the restaurant were very kind and accommodating. The chef, who is Italian, serves authentic and delicious food. We would highly recommend this restaurant!"

"We had been told about Avanti from some friends and thought we would try it out. So happy we did. The food is so good, you can tell there is passion in the kitchen. We had the ribs in a southern italian sauce which was insanely good. The meat fell off the bone and the sauce was the nicest rib sauce I have ever tasted. We also had the garlic bread which was perfectly cooked. Everything was packaged well and still hot when we got it home. Highly recommend. We will be dining in once we feel it is safe to do so, however I have heard they are taking every safety measure advised, we just prefer not to eat out for now."

"I shall list my issues with the experience because this deserves no more of my time nor my writing skills pizza fell apart (all toppings fell off) could’ve cut my pizza with my car and it would’ve been more geometric pizza was originally delivered somehow to the wrong house so it was over an hour late whoever was on the phone tonight (31/5/23 at around 6) clearly couldn’t hear or retain information as the pizza was at the wrong house wasn’t told about all of the ingredients on the veg pizza (possibly life endangering if you consider allergies) we were given a £6 bottle of wine as a peace offering even though the order was over £40 Appalled"

"I recently booked in Casa Nostra for my 40th birthday party. It was a large booking and the team were incredibly helpful in making the booking and even allowing us to add a couple of extra places at the last moment. As we were a large party we sent our menu choices in advance. On the day it all worked with military precision. My husband and I are regular visitors which is why I chose Casa Nostra for my birthday party. All of our friends said how much they enjoyed their time and said how great the food was. A highly recommended restaurant for big and small parties with absolutely amazing service from very helpful staff"

"We help our Supper Club at Streatham Kitchen last Sunday and we pre-ordered the Suckling Pig for the group. We had some calamari, halloumi and the cerviche for starters, to accompany the pig we had the bavette steak and the pulled pork with stewed beans which was delicious. The show and presentation of the meals were top notch and we thoroughly stuffed ourselves. If you are looking for a little bit of theatre with the pig then this is the place, they also have other meat and seafood platters. A beer and bottle of wine set the meal perfectly."

"Visited on Sunday 14th April’24 with discerning Mother and Aunt. Manageress (I assume) warmly greeted our arrival and showed us to our seats. We loved the decor and style of the restaurant very much and picked Pappardelle con Polpette, Chicken Al Freso and Prime Steak Burger for our lunch. All devoured with ease and as we say in the family “loved the scran n’at”. With a late breakfast earlier in the day along with generous portions, sadly that put paid to a dessert course. Manageress was attentive and her infections smile and friendly demeanour made us feel most welcome and at ease, service was impeccable and on leaving was very chatty and courteous, wishing my Aunt well on her move down south. Would highly recommend based on our visit for variety, quality of food and service. Will defo return when next in Kirkcaldy."

"Rating: I had the pleasure of visiting Dexter Burguer a few months ago, and I must say, it left a positive impression on me. Situated in a cozy pub/restaurant setting, Dexter Burguer offers a delightful dining experience that combines great food with a pleasant atmosphere. Upon arrival, my companions and I were immediately drawn to the outdoor seating area, where we were seated in a charming little pod. The clever addition of heaters ensured our comfort even on colder days, making it a delightful spot to enjoy a meal. The thoughtful attention to detail in creating a comfortable outdoor space impressed me. As for the menu, we opted for the classic choice of burgers and chips, limiting our exploration of the extensive offerings. Nonetheless, I can confidently say that the burger I had was delicious. The patty was well-cooked and flavorful, and the toppings complemented it perfectly. It was evident that Dexter Burguer takes pride in using quality ingredients to craft their burgers. The only minor disappointment came from the chips, which were slightly oversalted for my taste. However, it didn't overshadow the overall positive experience, and it's worth noting that taste preferences can vary from person to person. What stood out beyond the food was the inviting atmosphere. Dexter Burguer strikes a balance between a laid-back pub and a comfortable restaurant. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy good company. The well-prepared outdoor space showcased the restaurant's commitment to providing a pleasant experience, even during colder days. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring our needs were met throughout the evening. Their professionalism and hospitality added to the overall positive impression I had of the place."

"to celebrate a meilenstein birthday in the lockdown, we ordered the withdrawal from osteria dante on recommendation from others and could not have been satisfied with the eating and service. we had a selection of appetizers and netzens, some specialities and some from the main menu, and everything was freshly prepared and tasted fantastic, also something like potentially mouthful like a chicken salad was fresh, alive and spiced with a beautiful dressing. seriously could not blame it at all. I can't believe we've never visited or ordered from here, but I can guarantee we're going back!"

"We visited Luck Kuh based on a recommendation and were not disappointed. This quirky pub is the smallest in the Lake District and offers many vegan options. We tried the Craftys three cheese garlic dazzle with vegan cheese for £9.00, which was clearly marked as a vegan option. Although we had to wait a long time, it was definitely worth it. The portion was filling, so be warned that you might not need dinner afterwards. The dish was presented on a platter with coleslaw, crispy root vegetables, and a pear, all of which were very tasty. They also serve Whitley Neill gin, which is all vegan (except the rhubarb flavor according to their website, so be sure to check before ordering). The atmosphere and music were great as well! "First visit to this local restaurant and it was lovely. Staff all very welcoming, professional and helpful. Food was of an excellent standard and quality, we couldn't fault any of it. My husband and neice said that you didn't really need a knife for the beef as it was so tender. As she can be picky then that was indeed high praise from her. Presentation was lovely and the portion sizes were more than ample. Will definitely be returning. Well done to all at Zamani's."
