"Visited Zucca in East Kilbride with 22 people for a pre-wedding night dinner for my friend and all her loved ones. Marcus and the team were nothing less than spectacular! From the point of booking, nothing was a hassle. All 22 of us were seated, orders taken, food arrived and left without a glitch! I was initially nervous about having such a large party, having phoned other places who were reluctant to seat us due to the sheer size of the party. However Marcus was great to link in with for booking. The food was absolutely delicious, particularly the tirimasu. My partner and I even commented that it was the best tiramisu we have ever tasted. All food arrived without any issues, hot and fresh. The staff were all super friendly too! All round, 22 people who would love to return to eat at Zucca. Thanks team!"

"Service very slow apart from bottles of wine which came fast... I guess they want to to buy more wine.No customer service from the owner, very curt and not friendly at all.Plates not cleared from table for at least 20 mins after we had finished and I had to ask for him to clear them.When I asked how long the mains would be after waiting 55 mins for starters he rudely said he had only just clear starter plates, but they had been ready to clear 20 mins earlier, very rude man.8 of us had fillets steaks. Very good size but all we cooked wrong... all over cooked. I asked for medium/pink and it came well done no pink. I asked for English mustard and they gave it to me a sauce and charged for a sauce. God knows why they Would have thought I wanted English mustard as a sauce to go with the steak. A friend ordered a mushroom sauce To go with his steak,it was just a peppercorn sauce with mushrooms chopped up in it or that’s what it tasted like. The steaks were spoilt it was a shame all overcooked.Very disappointing experience it could’ve been made up if the if the waiting staff and boss acted like they enjoyed the jobs And were a lot more customer focused.I’ll be going back to Piccolinos as the customer service is excellent and the steaks are good all the food is good."

"while eating was, for the price on the lunch menu, tasty enough I did not enjoy my meal here. first, my trust was shaken when the spaghetti blognese with a w that indicated a vegetarian option was a child a misprint and that this court was not wise vegetarian, I also noticed a meal that contained pfefferoni, also claimed to be vegetarian with a w next to it. we have something more secure in relation to vegetarians. now I also ordered some gluten-free, which was good, but I was outraged when the bill arrived and I was extra for enjoying a gluten-free meal! "I was very unhappy with the service I experienced in the week before my reservation at the restaurant. I booked nearly a month in advance for my girlfriends birthday dinner. I knew they served a whole pig as long as it was pre ordered. I wanted to invite an extra person which considering it was about a weeks notice didn't think would be a problem. I tried contacting the place via 4 different channels over 3 days to not hear back. I called 4 times and left a voicemail. I expected a call back would be the professional response but no. It took me leaving a comment on there social media to try and spark their attention, but still nothing. FInally they got back to my message on the booking system chat to give me the news they can't add another person nor pre book the pig! As you can imagine I was not impressed. I expected the least they could do was sort an extra chair. They should be willing to bend over backwards to add one person to our table to show there apologies for the awful time I've had chasing them and news regarding the pig. I cancelled the booking. I was surprised they didn't attempted to apologies to soften the terrible services I went through and time wasted. Thanks for ruining my girlfriends birthday meal out. Shocking customer services!!! Think twice if you decide to go and pre book a month in advance for the pig, if they bother to contact you back that is."

"Bank Holiday Monday in Stamford. Most places are shut, and the town is a lot quiter than usual... My wife is MADLY hungry, and insists we choose somewhere QUICKLY (this isn 't a request! , so we head into the very first place we come across No1 Kitchen. We 'd glanced at the menu on the way in, but our only real concern was that it was open, and it had food. A very friendly waitress showed us to our table, in a lovely corner spot, and I availed myself of the facilities, which were spacious and pristinely clean (something of a 'yardstick ' for us in terms of a well looked after restaurant... The waitress was soon back for our drinks order, and once she 'd delivered our Cokes we went for the Hot and Spicy Burger, with twisty fries, and a Mediterranean Lamb Burger, with corn on the cob. This too arrived promptly, with various Heinz condiments, and everything was hot and fresh! Both burgers were utterly SPLENDID, and we agreed they were The Real Thing, and particulary suited to discerning adults. There were PLENTY of twisty fries, which were crispy, well presented, and nicely seasoned. The burgers were deceptively filling, and my wife couldn 't quite manage hers, but even whilst eating we were planning our next visit, to try out other burger options. Overall, this was nothing short of a Perfect Lunchtime Visit, and we 'd enthusiastically recommend it to other burger lovers! Even if I tried my hardest, there was absolutely NOTHING to fault about this gorgeous restaurant, and we 're amazed to have never seen/visited before. It won 't be long before we put this right..."

"to celebrate a meilenstein birthday in the lockdown, we ordered the withdrawal from osteria dante on recommendation from others and could not have been satisfied with the eating and service. we had a selection of appetizers and netzens, some specialities and some from the main menu, and everything was freshly prepared and tasted fantastic, also something like potentially mouthful like a chicken salad was fresh, alive and spiced with a beautiful dressing. seriously could not blame it at all. I can't believe we've never visited or ordered from here, but I can guarantee we're going back!"

"I brought my family here for Mother’s Day and the dining experience did not disappoint. The cocktails were lovely, the food was simply delicious and the service was 5 stars. We stayed for 3 courses and handed the table back at the end of our time slot which was more than enough time to eat, talk and enjoy the lovely atmosphere. The calamari and steak were cooked to perfection not overcooked and rubbery as some places serve. The classic pad Thai was scrumptious and did not disappoint with the peanuts served on the side allowing me to choose how crunchy I wanted it. The tofu was nicely done as well. My mother absolutely loved the sorbet flavours offered for dessert and the banana pancakes and vanilla ice cream was a welcomed treat. We advised them of an allergy or intolerance and they were very diligent and attentive to this. Often checking before serving each course. Portion sizes were reasonable and so was the pricing. Definitely value for money and I intend to go back."

"husband and I came today to lunch on June 24 when they visited hatsocks; looking for a place to eat we settled in thatched inn and we are glad that we did. the staff gave us a warm welcome, the pub is dog friendly, but as there is a beautiful day we sat in the garden. the food was freshly cooked, portions were generous and everything was well presented. one of the most beautiful pub meals we had in one and we will return definitiv when we visit again."
