"We booked here at last minute. The hotel is beautiful, set in lovely surroundings, with views to die for. Our room, no.1 is big ,and pretty. Everything clean. Very comfortable bed, with good pillows and duvets. We booked into the restaurant for the 5 course taster menu, which was fantastic., with a good bottle of wine. There was 9 people in for dinner we were all served at the same time.Our 2 hosts , explained what each course was ,everytime we were served. It was a wonderful night.. A bit expensive, but it was for our wedding anniversary, so it was worth it. Breakfast was good also ,served in a lovely summer room with fantastic views. Hopefully we will be back. , as Keswick is my favourite place, and we visit many times during the year, from Co.Durham, we're here within 2hrs. "last Saturday I booked a table to breakfast and after arriving at the restaurant I was informed that the kitchen was closed because of the absentness of the chef. I think they could have a message or an email with the registration of the customers who have previously booked a table to avoid the trip to the restaurant. at this opportunity I got friends from Spain and it was quite frustrated for us leaving the restaurant without breakfast menu. the online bookings should receive more attention, as it reflects how the restaurant deals with its customers."

"Beautiful food, fantastic surrounding, we stayed in the castle so it was lovely to eat there as well, and to just walk back to our room after, we started in the drawing room with a drink while we browsed over the menu and was then taken to our table where we received a complementary amuse-Boucher . Followed by our starters main. I had the Butternut squash soup with goats cheese which was amazing and then the chicken for my main. The only thing disappointing was that we had to pay extra to have the pudding that we wanted and they add on their own tip on to the bill. Other than that it was a lovely relaxed enjoyable evening."

"These are the best vegan donuts in London (better than Doughnut Time and Crosstown). It’s really all in the dough, which is pillowy but with a chewy/crispy texture on the outside. The vegan creme brûlée is definitely my favorite followed by the no-tella donut. Definitely worth going out of your way to try these. Would I eat engere again? Absolutely!!!!!!!!! So good!!!"

"came early to dinner, but was sitting immediately. only one woman was there from the beginning to the end of our meal. incorrect ordering was served on the table, however, when it was taken to the staffing of the server, it apologised and changed the order quickly. everything was good, but was not happy with the Biryani(prawn and huhn tikka) very sticky with granatapfel and rosin. Perhaps most customers in this restaurant enjoy this recipe of biryani. overall I would definitely come back to this restaurant."

"Let's do this fast. this coffee place is located in an art shop, the room is bright and airy. the latte was one of the best, I was pleasantly surprised by him. there was a lot on sandwiches on the display, although a little expensive. the brot was good and very tasty. at least you should come in and give this one away. our last bill was quite steep and it's the only thing that will stop us from coming back."

"I have only tried the chocolate sorbetto even though they had some vegan ice creams also you would never believe it has no dairy, it's so rich and creamy. 1 scoop is also enough, so although it's a bit pricey it's definitely worth it!"

"This was my first experience trying gelato in London, and having ice cream in cold weather was a great feeling that is hard to put into words. Despite the cool weather outside, I suddenly had a craving for ice cream and found myself at this place. I ordered my go-to favorite flavor, chocolate, and it did not disappoint. The place was not very impressive, but since it was empty and I was the only customer, I had the place to myself. The fancy purple decor made me expect a bit more from the place, but maybe having more people around would have improved my overall impression."
