"very disappointing waitresses were not Italian, but roumaner, and the one who served us could not understand anything as very basic English and therefore messed up what we ordered. mt woman fish was not pleasant, and so the little part that it was not worried her! the second waitress (which proved to be responsible) apologised and gave us a whisper that was delicious."

"After a very good afternoon doing the Potter Trail, we came across this wee gem. I was with my Daughter, Son in law and Granddaughter and newly born Grandson. We were made to feel very welcome and the food was to die for. We had a starter of Calamari and Mussles, both were fantastic. I had a calzone pizza which i have to say has been the best i have ever tasted. Compliments from daughter of her pizza and son in law polished his off in no time. Staff were fantastic, on the ball, very friendly and attentive. Would certainly recommend, and we will certainly be back soon."

"We had a lovely evening with friends dining outside at this restaurant. However, I want to note that although I made a reservation through Open Table and received confirmation, they did not have our reservation when we arrived. The restaurant mentioned that this has happened several times despite reaching out to Open Table. Fortunately, they kindly accommodated us on a busy Friday night during peak season in Florida. Thank you, Miramare! Just a heads-up: if you make a reservation through Open Table, it's a good idea to call and confirm."

"The service was pleasant and attentive, the tables were well spaced. I had the mozzarella salad to start with which was a cheap watery ball of mozzarella with some dried herbs sprinkled on it on a bed of rocket and a few plum tomatoes no fresh herbs at all. The pasta was chewy and undercooked. All the dishes seemed to be based around same basic pasta sauces bland but edible. The pizza was greasy and when picked up the topping just slid off the base. The calzone was mainly crust and when we asked for other ingredients to be added they said no so they clearly were not fresh. I didn't complain but I definitely wouldn't book again"

"Did not arrive at all, wasted over an hour of my time waiting for it, called them was told by the bloke over the phone I was called three times but I received no such call and when further questioned I was told my cash was not accepted and that only card was accepted, if that was the case on the site I would of obliged but that wasnt the case, I'm very unhappy with how I was spoken too and I will not be ordering from this restaurant again"

"Visited on Saturday evening for a family. We were welcomed by who I think was the owner. He came across very friendly as did all of the staff. The food we had was all excellent as was the service. The food came out very quickly too. I would give 5 stars definitely but due to the following reasons I have given it a 4 star. When entering the building there was a sign saying card payment only. This was frustrating as I had brought cash with me to pay. When looking at the website before booking I did not see this anywhere on the website. When booking by phone I was not told about this either. I’m a strong believer that people should be able to pay how they like and see convenient. I would have probably used this place regularly (this was my first visit) but I believe I should be able to pay how I like. It was a very good experience all around apart from the points mentioned."

"We rang up previously prior to ordering to ask if they could accommodate a big order. We were told to ring again at 6:30 and the phone wasn’t working. We drove to the restaurant and was told they had a powercut but they were still cooking orders. We were told weren’t able to order. We’ve tried several times prior to this to order from this place but have never been successful. Was supposed to be a treat for the groom the night before his wedding but i guess we’ll have to settle for takeaway pizza from the kebab shop instead"

"We had a takeaway delivered from them, and it was our first time using them since moving into the area. Everything we ordered was either dry, over cooked or end of the batch. Our garlic bread was hard and our chips had clearly been left in too long. Super disappointed cause was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately won’t be ordering from there again."

"Our final night in Folkstone and after having a really overpriced two course lunch at a rip off restaurant elsewhere we were on a bit of a budget, the prices looked reasonable, so we booked a table. I had read reviews beforehand and noticed complaints about poor service and rudeness by staff, we certainly found this not to be the case, the place had a very good atmosphere, it was very busy for a Thursday night but the manager found time to come and chat to us, there was a large party there for a birthday and nearly everyone in the place sang happy birthday to the person celebrating his special day, this got us talking to people on the neighbouring tables, which was great. The food was outstanding for the prices charged and for both courses we were spoilt for choice, the seafood and the pasta that we had were very tasty and beautifully cooked, we had a bottle of pinot grigio and that was of good quality too. Recommended without a doubt."

"Well what a find we went to an indian but jammed in a corner load horrible so we left, on are walk to find some where else we spotted this places, we walked in and met with a smile shown a table, everything was nice and timed to perfection, we ordered a starter for 2 amazing flavours, my miss ordered the best burger she's ever tasted in a amazing rustic bun with side salad, I had a goat cheese pizza which was amazing the food was fresh we didn't feel uncomfortably stuffed we were happy with the price as the hole package was fantastic and we left smiling so thank you for the great expireance and food.
