"This was one of the more bizarre visits I have had to a restaurant in many years. Spectacularly diabolical!!! The waiter was nice enough but they were out of half of the already tiny list of dishes on offer. It was like âspam, spam or parmigianâ! My mate got some gnocchi straight from the supermarket with some cheese only food stamps would buy (the waiter was nice enough to refund this inedible effort). My order of vitello alla Milanese with patate arroste was a big flat lump of breaded meat from a packet complete with... oven chips!! The whole time we had to listen to some bizarre argument in Spanish and Italian between the cook and the waiter. The subject seemed to be how much the former was being paid- heâs been very fortunate to have ever been paid, from what I can see!!"

"I ordered a banana cake and instead of getting a proper piece, I received the hardest, driest and tasteless piece. Only the coffee was delicious. I don't want to think of it as discrimination because it only makes me miserable, but I can't help but feel bad about it."

"I think this is one of the best kept foodie secrets of london. I have learned about this place from a chat in hyde park with a local. my wife and I have decided to go as much as the person in the park spoke of it. young was right, eating is excellent and is extremely reasonable. tonight we returned and had two pizzas, a supplement of sweet and a glass of wine for 25 pounds. I really feel that they are pushed hard to find anywhere that can fit this place for its authenticity. please visit it so worth it"

"âGiustoâ means just right and as I was in need of a quick lunch between conferences a panino with chips rather hit the spot. The ground floor is small and has the feel of an upmarket cafe. On my way to the washrooms downstairs, however, I passed through a much more capacious dining room with more of the character of a restaurant. The list of panini, all with top class ingredients, is extensive enough, even without supplemented by specials. But there are also plates of meats and hams as well as some more substantial mains. Some crispy chips accompanied by large bowls of mayonnaise and tomato ketchup preceded my beef and tomato panino nicely wrapped in paper. A glass of Pinot Grigio complemented this nicely. All arrived speedily and efficiently which given its City of London location is probably its most important feature."

"The service, cleanliness, and decor of the restaurant were all rated at 4 out of 5. The Thai chicken curry was delicious and different. I also enjoyed the breakfast dishes, although I couldn't remember exactly what I ordered."

"Quite simply shocking, we arrived with plenty of tables spare and took a seat on the terrace, the waitress saw us snd gave us menus then proceeded to seat snd serve every other person besides us.. we had to go inside and ask to be...served! Given that someone followed us out to serve us, two âregularsâ intervened and asked to be moved next to us on the terrace where there wasnât much room and proceeded to be served, looked after impeccably before then getting to us.. we then noticed all other patrons were served their drinks etc first.. so went to ask where our drinks were we had ordered two pizzas by this stage.. must have waited mins for drinks from the time we arrived (both of us have hospitality backgrounds the weather changed so we moved indoors probably another mins before pizzas arrived.. mine was so greasy I had to use a napkin to soak it off, and then just couldnât eat it as tasted too greasy.. we werenât asked why I left half the pizza.. at this stage our waitress cleared the table and we asked for the bill, we waited another ten mins snd the same waitress came back and asked if weâd like anything else.. no we would just like the bill like we asked for.. service charge was added, think it should say optional, we took this off immediately as the service was shocking and I refuse to pay for it!! This place needs to be very careful.. there are so many fantastic places in Harrogate you need to keep up with the times! We will not be returning.. and I suggest anyone looking at this place thinks twice!"

"This restaurant serves amazing food that is on par with the best in Brighton. Kudos to the chefs and the team for their outstanding work. It appears that they have made significant improvements, as previous reviews were not as positive. The service is professional and fast, and the portions are generous. The grilled meat is fresh and cooked over wood charcoal. This place is a must-try and you will be welcomed warmly."

"directly over running horse this little cocktailbar reminds of another glamours southern julip bar! pictures of jockeyâs and kentucky derby- Esque-Stylings, the whip makes for a simple, quiet place for talks about wonderful drinks. cozy chairs and plush decoration make really for a stick-around' kind of evening. regarding drinks, their Julip menu is to go away. not very expensive one piece), each julip grabbed a stamp and was made professional. I had the fog cutter julip (rum, gin, sherry, orgeat, orange and limette), while my friends tried the whip julep (gin, apple, earl grey) and the traditional mint julep. I tried a bit of their drinks and must say bravo all...read more"

"Even though we had a reservation, they initially claimed they couldn't find it. However, they were accommodating and managed to arrange a table for us. Our order of seven drinks took a bit longer than expected, and while the latte art didnât quite match the impressive photos on their website, the coffee itself was delicious. They also forgot to bring the water we requested and missed one of the cakes we ordered, but overall, we had an enjoyable visit."

"Only offered pre-made salads that were not very fresh. The Low GI option had a strange taste and overall, I was not impressed with the quality of the food. The service was also lacking, with staff members seeming disinterested in helping customers. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant."

"We came here as a family couple, toddler and newborn baby with a pram. We tried to get a table on a weekday evening, but it transpired most of the tables were booked. However the staff were very accommodating and endeavoured to fit us in. Eventually we ended up on the terrace at the back, which was fine for us, albeit it without the atmosphere of the main restaurant. We had a quick dinner (food came fairly promptly and everything was delicious. In particular, I would praise the melanzane parmigiana (baked aubergine in particular, and the children's option which was great value a small version of an adult pasta or pizza. Service was included (10% but I insisted on adding a bit more to the bill because the service was great."

"Probably the most miserable cafe I have ever frequented. We entered what appeared to be a nice cosy establishment, sat down and waited... and waited. We eventually got the menu we had to request, a crumpled, well used, dirty A4 sheet. The menu looked fairly promising so we forgave their reuse of dirty paper. Ordering, we eventually discovered was by walking up to the counter full of tempting looking cakes and attempting to attract the attention of customer avoidant staff, zero eye contact and the personification of misery, however, I forged ahead and asked if I could order. The waitress silently turned behind the counter and walked to the far end and stood at the cash register, apparently I was supposed to follow. Order placed and paid for I sat down. First the coffee arrived, nicely presented and fairly good, a pity about the ugly chipped metal spoon on the side. Then the main event, 1 fry up and 1 eggs benedict. The fry up: half the plate was filled with a chorizo style greasy sausage, a couple of shreds of fried mushroom and the remaining mediocre fry, and the other half of the plate was inexplicably taken up by a horridly bitter mismatching drizzle of balsamic vingear? Why? The eggs benedict, again half a plate taken up by a drizzle of balsamic vinegar, the other half a small slice of white loaf with two over cooked dry yolked eggs and a watery yellow teaspoon of sauce. Sadly after that nothing could tempt me to stay and try one of the cakes that drew me in the door. Verdict: The most miserable, avoidant staff I have ever seen, not just one staff member but every single one including the chef. And a greasy fry, overcooked dry eggs, a lack of sauce and inexplicably half of every plate reserved for a zig-zag drizzle of bitter balsamic vingear. My advice: Avoid! Overpriced, over cooked, and customers over looked."

"Had a nice saturday lunch in the sunshine. Chicken burger was excellent however breakfast bowl was disappointing in both taste, size and value for money. Ice cream cones were excellent. Social distancing was interesting with the space between diners. Although hand sanitiser on tables, there was no evidence of table cleaning between customers and no masks for staff,"
