"Came here after the half marathon. It was super busy but we managed to get a table. The wait was long for food, which we were warned about, and the staff were very apologetic. We didn't mind as we were chatting but their care for service was really refreshing! They even offered us a free round of drinks!! Another great thing was that it was dog friendly and our puppy loved it there! We will definitely return next time we are in Sheffield."

"Tuesday 29th August 2023 This great music and real ale pub does a great range of hand pumped and keg/craft ales on today The last behind the bar was knowledgeable on beers The real ales 6th of them had a 9% ale one and there was a 10 and 13% not real ale on The place was right up my street, a proper 20th century feel pub I would strongly recommend anyone who likes real ale to drink in here Saturday 10th February 2024 We all came in this brilliant chester GBG pub tonighrt to celebrate Bradfords win at Wrexham Every thing here is still great Magnificent choice of real ales"

"The range of beers the brown cow has is brilliant. There is something for every pallet. There is also a great range of spirits. A quiet bar, which lends itself to having a good chat with friends and an overall friendly atmosphere. Bar staff and manager are very friendly and helpful and allowed a little sample beer if you are unsure what to have and if you have the UNTAPPD app, you can see which guest ales they have before going. Definitely recommend this place!"
