We are local and it is possibly our local local. The Staff are excellent attentive and friendly. The Sunday roast is excellent coming with either Topside of beef, roast beef, or turkey or all three for a couple of pound more. The portion size and quality is top notch. Side coming with the meat, roast potatoes parsnip, carrot, Yorkshire and gravy include Cauliflower cheese, red cabbage and spring greens. Perfect."

Wonderful selection of ales and wines! The atmosphere, decor and music really make it. Not from Chester, popped in for a quick drink whilst visiting and we were welcomed with warmth and were told facts about the beers!! :
