"I haven't visited this cafe regularly, but every time I do, I've found Martin, the owner, to be incredibly friendly. He provides a welcoming space for me to get some work done. The coffee here is fantastic—definitely some of the best around. I really appreciate all the staff; they are wonderful people! The cappuccinos and lattes are absolutely worth it, especially since they're more affordable than other independent cafes in the area. The food is also delicious! My favorites are the sausage pasta and the lemon chicken salad; both are healthy and perfect for those on the go. This place deserves a solid 5 stars from me. I always look forward to enjoying my coffee and chatting with the dedicated team here."

"I've known about the theatre but never visited until an invitation for a Civil Partnership celebration for two long standing friends. The architecture is impressive and understandably the internal decoration needed a refresh and never the less provided a suitably impressive venue for such an auspicious occasion. The catering was excellent and just right for the day with many Vegan choices that served my friends diet very well. Thank you."

"First time in Maggie’s Cafe. Most, if not all of the tables were occupied. A sunday morning breakfast while scanning the paper is always a highlight of any week. I opted for the full grill breakfast I’m told they only grill their food..not fried which I personally thought was grand value at £6.95 tea, coffee etc extra . A really nice touch was the unlimited free filtered water from a dispenser at the end of the counter. From my first bite it was clear that some thought had gone into sourcing pedigree products. The sausages were excellent as was the bacon. Even the sweet cherry tomatoes had great flavour. I love the fact they serve a pot of tea instead of a mug/cup. As it was a Sunday I was in no rush but the kitchen service was a bit slow the server apologised ...having said that if you want freshly grilled food this may be an acceptable price for quality. The staff were very attentive and the decor was really pleasing. Nothing in this world is perfect but a rethink of the kitchen service would lift this cafe into a whole new level.... while saying that i will definitely be back. Recommended."

"Our visit to the restaurant was very disappointing. Despite being on the menu, there was no cod or pizza available. The 2 glasses of Coke we ordered were completely flat. We had to wait 25 minutes for our food, even though it was not busy at the time. There were no baby changing facilities, and when we asked at reception, we were told to use the toilets in the hall, with no changing table in the men's bathroom. The sanitizer was empty in the men's toilets as well as at the entrance to Leonas (now located in the bar area of the hotel, which was cold and not what we expected from a tea room). The prices were very high, with a top hat costing £2.70. The food quality was very poor, with frozen chips and goujons from Lynas. Overall, the experience was not worth the prices they charge."

"This restaurant is incredibly accommodating for vegans! Upon entering, I informed them of my dietary preferences and they provided me with an Allergen Information Brochure detailing how to identify vegan options on their menu. I selected a vegetarian dish and confirmed with the brochure that it was indeed vegan. I enjoyed the Goan Veggie Curry and Blood Orange Sorbet for dessert. All of the staff I encountered were knowledgeable about veganism and very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting, as it appears to be part of a chain."

"I wanted to order the blueberry waffles at 12pm, but unfortunately they were sold out. This led me to believe that they are not freshly made, but rather pre-made and reheated upon order. This was disappointing considering the high prices. I ended up ordering the beans on toast with tofu, but I found it lacked flavor and the tofu was hard to find. The portions were small for the price paid, and the apple juice was of lower quality. My dining companion, who is not vegan, also did not enjoy their meal. The lack of customer service was evident, as the staff simply seated us, took our order, and brought us the card reader for payment without any warmth or friendliness."

"this was my second visit in seven days to this little esserei on ermine road. the staff is always smiling and super friendly and eating really different! my big latte coffee was delicious creamy and smooth, not bitter at all (I asked for the biggest cup they had and they were very obligated! . I had the mais and flower flower fritter, but instead of the Hiumi cheese I could instead trade and have avocado. this dish was very full and the mint yogurt dressing was a beautiful note. I would recommend a visit, they are dog friendly and plan to open the cellar some time in the future for more sitting opportunities! would recommend."

"The hot chocolate, while good, was a bit too rich for my taste. I also tried the vegan and gluten-free bounty cheesecake, which was tasty but didn't quite taste like a bounty. The texture was different from traditional cheesecake but still enjoyable. The jammie dodger brownie, recommended by the staff, was a standout - crispy on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside, and just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, I appreciated the unique approach of this cafe/restaurant in offering healthier versions of favorite dishes. It has inspired me to consider opening a similar shop of my own."

"Very rude staff, service was horrendous. Meal came missing half of the sides, was told upon ordering that everything was available and then only when the food arrived “sorry those sides aren’t actually available”. Still charged full price. Very old man unwell across the street so my friend asked for some water to give to him. Staff sneered and were extremely rude and derogatory about the old unwell gentlemen which was frankly embarrassing to be in the presence of. Waitress then rudely said they’d have to amend the bill to add on the water bottle for the man! Waitress then clearly stupid as couldn’t half the bill amount correctly. Shambles and I’m embarrassed to have been there and will be posting on every social media and review website going that this place is disgusting in every sense of the word. As a local resident and active community member I’m going to make sure everyone knows of my experience. Staff should be ashamed of themselves."

"Today we visited a cafe for the first time and ordered the "big breakfast," paninis, hot chocolate, and tea. We were very impressed with our first visit. The customer service was excellent, and the food portions were so generous that it was difficult to finish. I would highly recommend the hot chocolate, as well as the hazelnut flavor which tasted like Nutella. The food was not greasy or overcooked, and everything was served in a healthy and delicious way that didn't leave us feeling heavy.
