"Not too bad, but not so good.... Menu: good variety. Food quality: specially what they called as beef. The rest was OK. Food preparation: lack of flavor and besides the noodles there wasn't much of the other ingredients in my bowl. Price: for what was mentioned before it could be cheaper, but the restaurants on that area of the city normally charge a bit more anyway and the people who live there think it's cheap. Service: don't need to be smiley all the time, but being a bit more friendly would be nice. Cleanliness: not really much to say, in general seemed alright. Oh, and they don't accept cards, only cash!"

"we were here early juni 2017 and have said it was amazing and refurbished also! the rooms are large. I mean massive the rooms are certainly not pokey in any wise, shape or shape the rooms were light airy and very pretty superior where the **** in hotel actually lies. it was immaculately clean and comfortable even had a large two-seat sofa in the room, which is how big the rooms are!!! we can not recommend this great hotel enough and the room prices are also very respectable when compared with a great majority of others b"

"lunch. After some quick internet searching, I stumbled upon this quaint little restaurant called The Green Plate. The atmosphere inside was cozy and inviting, with friendly staff ready to greet me upon entry. I opted for the daily special, a delicious chicken and avocado salad, which was fresh and flavorful. "I tried some of the new menu items at Wagamama tonight, and unfortunately several fell short of expectations. To start, the new Korean style fried chicken goujons had a bizarre and unappealing flavor combination they tasted like yuzu and Carolina reaper pepper had a baby, with an odd soapy aftertaste. I would not recommend this dish. The vegan corn dog was another letdown. The sausage was coated in crumbled raw instant ramen, making the coating crunchy to the point of being tooth breaking. The one bright spot was the new bread, which was great on its own without sauce. I could not try it with the sauce due to my tree nut allergy. The bread was unique and tasty. For my main dish, I ordered the new vegan ramen. The portion was small, the chicken was dry and flat, and the amount of sauce barely covered three grains of rice. Overall an average ramen dish. I was disappointed with several of the new offerings at Wagamama some major misses in terms of flavor. I would suggest they rework a few of these dishes."

"Booked a table of 5 for my birthday dinner. We were promptly seated then immediately asked for drinks orders before even being offered a drinks menu or water. After we had ordered drinks we were being rushed into ordering some food, every two minutes different waiters coming and asking if we are ready to order (at least 7 times). After we did order and the food was brought out, we were then just forgotten about and nobody came over anymore to check if we needed any more drinks (4 out of 5 glasses were empty) or if the food was ok. (It was- but no one checked). After we had finished dining, we still had empty glasses and had to wait 20+ minutes until we eventually stopped a waiter walking past and asked if we could order more drinks. The drinks then took another 15 minutes to come. It was also very disappointing that although we had mentioned on the booking itself that it was for my birthday, there was no acknowledgement of this (I have been before and had received a plate with ‘happy birthday’ written on it in some kind of sauce with a sparkler). My sister even went to ask the woman working on the front desk and received a standoffish attitude back saying no. When the £235 bill came, it even listed ‘birthday plate £0.00’ on it!!! That really let the evening down. The interactions with the staff themselves were great, they were very polite and personable but the actual level of service of being rushed to order and then totally forgotten about really dampened what could have been a fantastic evening."

"I was in the process of writing an important essay. I thought I would treat myself to some chicken balls that, from previous experience at other establishments, are absolutely delicious. To my horror, I was confronted with the doughy, cloying, insipid balls of s that were delivered to me. I am in awe of how somebody that claims to be professional can claim that this even qualifies as food. I wouldn't even feed these to my dog. I am ashamed that a chicken's life had to be taken to produce these monstrosities. Makes a man want to turn vegan. Excuse me whilst I throw up."

"I had a wonderful experience at Akari! I had dinner with a friend there in the evening, and we ordered gyoza along with a variety of sushi (maki, uramaki, and temaki), all of which was delicious. I particularly recommend the eel temaki. The selection of beloved dishes was excellent and reasonably priced. I also want to highlight the service; our wait staff was very attentive, and the food arrived promptly. It's a vibrant restaurant with fantastic food, and I will definitely return!"

"It was our first time in Manchester and we had a lovely time. I had pre-booked our table about a month in advance which was beneficial as they were very full up. It was my partners Birthday last night and I phoned cottonpolis to see if I can bring a cake with me to celebrate my partners Birthday and they said yes which was very nice of them. Sar lit the candles and brought it out. Thank you very much Sar! Having arrived we had already thought about what we were going to order but as we went to order there was a couple of items that weren't available so therefore we asked the waitress (Sar) for her recommendations and we trusted her and omg we were amazed about the quality of the food and the presentation of the food too. The cocktails (Fuji dawn) we amazing We ordered: Duck Gyoza Prawn Gypza Salmon Tataki Tuna Nori Tacos Seared beef maki Salmon&crab maki Sea bass sashimi All of the above were simply amazing! "Very busy the night we 3 went. Sound level very high (accoustics bad, maybe), so difficult to have a conversation with anyone not immediately next to you. The atmosphere was terrific with nice low lighting however we were near the bar so able to read the menu, whereas it seemed very dark in the rest of the room. The staff seemed very nice and the food came quickly. However at no time did anyone come and ask us how we were doing and if happy with the meal etc so the feeling was always efficiency without any 'personal touch '. The food was excellent. A great addition to East Sheen."

"Booked for 12.30 the night before our Sat visit and was told we would only have one hour but if we could come at 12, which we couldn't, we would have one and a half hours. Pleasant greeting on entering and shown straight to our table and given menu's. The waitress advised us everything was cooked fresh so would come when each dish was ready not all together and wouldn't be quick. We decided against starters due to our limited time and gave our food choices and opted for organic coffees. There was no alcohol on the lunch menu and I don't know if evening menu's have alcohol, likewise there was no dessert on the menu. Our coffees took quite a while to arrive but it was 10 past 1 before the last meal arrived with the reminder we had to leave by 1.30. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. We did not use the toilet so can't say whether there was one or where it was. Having read reviews we knew we were in for a good experience and all in all we enjoyed our visit but would have liked a bit longer to savour our food. As a footnote we parked in the car park behind the bus station and wondered why lots of cars were parked all along the side of the access road. We found out when trying to pay there was no cash option only card which we tried several times to do before a kind gentleman advised us how to do it so be warned if you are tech dinasours like us!"
