"Bland food and very overpriced, ribs ok, squid was flubbery but fresh, the tacos with salmon mix and mayo were grim only eatable after adding chilli sauce too, and two for 11 quid was a joke. Sake OK and had a beer. , 65 quid for one, is not good, won't return. If you think One bottle 70cl of Sake for 18 x 4 is fair! Come on 72 quid... , indicative of food price... ! I went to you twice, as I was hungry..., re. the Chinese next door they may have been ok, but after finishing one pint and there not being internet, I asked them for your password, I needed to go. I also asked if they had started to cook my food at which point they said no. I paid them for beer and said, I would return. The fact, there did not seem to be much cooking going on was a red flag to me and I did not have time. Your concept is ok, but a bit of drift wood in comparison to London and it's my fault to draw comparisons, and I did give it a second chance but simply put it's not very good. Seems you have a bee in your bonnet, re. Chinese food and cutting and pasting recurring theme, Only just started reviewing items. Please don't make comparison between a Chinese directly next to your abode that may be ok, and fact you are trying the London street food tribe here in Blackpool, which I wish you luck with, but having seen it and spending money with you on separate occasions please have the grace to say thank you and good bye. Else to many perhaps you may look a bit tribal and bitter. Good luck."

"Booked a table of 5 for my birthday dinner. We were promptly seated then immediately asked for drinks orders before even being offered a drinks menu or water. After we had ordered drinks we were being rushed into ordering some food, every two minutes different waiters coming and asking if we are ready to order (at least 7 times). After we did order and the food was brought out, we were then just forgotten about and nobody came over anymore to check if we needed any more drinks (4 out of 5 glasses were empty) or if the food was ok. (It was- but no one checked). After we had finished dining, we still had empty glasses and had to wait 20+ minutes until we eventually stopped a waiter walking past and asked if we could order more drinks. The drinks then took another 15 minutes to come. It was also very disappointing that although we had mentioned on the booking itself that it was for my birthday, there was no acknowledgement of this (I have been before and had received a plate with ‘happy birthday’ written on it in some kind of sauce with a sparkler). My sister even went to ask the woman working on the front desk and received a standoffish attitude back saying no. When the £235 bill came, it even listed ‘birthday plate £0.00’ on it!!! That really let the evening down. The interactions with the staff themselves were great, they were very polite and personable but the actual level of service of being rushed to order and then totally forgotten about really dampened what could have been a fantastic evening."

"lunch. After some quick internet searching, I stumbled upon this quaint little restaurant called The Green Plate. The atmosphere inside was cozy and inviting, with friendly staff ready to greet me upon entry. I opted for the daily special, a delicious chicken and avocado salad, which was fresh and flavorful. "friendly staff we have eaten here with our friends at lunchtime. all staff were very friendly and friendly with a smiling face. I had chicken katsu curry, but to be honest, not very impressed. the dish was flattened like roast chicken on the floor, a piece of rice on the chicken and curry sauce on top. the sauce tasted like standard curry sauce, which we take in a normal Chinese. I didn't feel like the court had a speciality except curry a curry sauce and a bowl of rice"

"Very busy the night we 3 went. Sound level very high (accoustics bad, maybe), so difficult to have a conversation with anyone not immediately next to you. The atmosphere was terrific with nice low lighting however we were near the bar so able to read the menu, whereas it seemed very dark in the rest of the room. The staff seemed very nice and the food came quickly. However at no time did anyone come and ask us how we were doing and if happy with the meal etc so the feeling was always efficiency without any 'personal touch '. The food was excellent. A great addition to East Sheen."

"I was in the process of writing an important essay. I thought I would treat myself to some chicken balls that, from previous experience at other establishments, are absolutely delicious. To my horror, I was confronted with the doughy, cloying, insipid balls of s that were delivered to me. I am in awe of how somebody that claims to be professional can claim that this even qualifies as food. I wouldn't even feed these to my dog. I am ashamed that a chicken's life had to be taken to produce these monstrosities. Makes a man want to turn vegan. Excuse me whilst I throw up."

"I had a wonderful experience at Akari! I had dinner with a friend there in the evening, and we ordered gyoza along with a variety of sushi (maki, uramaki, and temaki), all of which was delicious. I particularly recommend the eel temaki. The selection of beloved dishes was excellent and reasonably priced. I also want to highlight the service; our wait staff was very attentive, and the food arrived promptly. It's a vibrant restaurant with fantastic food, and I will definitely return!"

"Great night celebrating my birthday with my husband and son. We ordered 3 Dimsum and 3 Mains plus a takeaway meal for my grandson who had planned on coming but couldn't get back from work in time: Dimsum, Korean Kimbap, Duck Spring Rolls, Pork Kimchi Gyozo. Mains, Korean Volcano Fried Rice, Spiced Cumin Lamb, Crispy Sweet Sour Pork. Take away, Korean Honey Chicken Steamed Rice. Personal choice is my least favourite was the kimbap which I wouldn't order again and the sweet sour pork which both my husband and I found to be quite hard, though the flavours were really good and my son enjoyed. The volcano Rice was excellent and is in all our opinions the only stand alone dish we ordered. Would love to go again soon. Constructive criticism, it would be nice to have fried rice and dare I say it chips included in the sides and even some of the sauces."

"I booked afternoon tea for my husband's birthday and we were six adults. The place was busy with satisfied customers enjoying a wet saturday afternoon with top quality tea, with plenty of water for top ups and fantastic and knowledgeable service from Michelle the owner. We were greeted warmly and led to our table where Michelle had even custom made birthday menus for us. She managed all the requirements of many of us who had not had instruction in proper tea before and we loved the way she prepared and poured them for each drinker. The teas were fabulous and I was so happy my husband liked the experience as it was a risk, his not being a tea afficionado. The food was fantastic, the tartines were laden high with delicious fillings. Our second choices of teas were as good as the first and were accompanied by cakes and matcha biscuits as well as really light and tasty blueberry muffins. We felt indulged, looked after and welcome. We travelled 20 miles for this and it was absolutely worth it. It was my 4th time and my families first all together. It really won't be the last and the only reason I don't take all my friends there is that I want to keep it to myself as a get away. However, I have promised to take a few! Michelle, thank you so much. It was a triumph. Cant recommend it more."
