"Firstly, If I could give this no stars I would!! The man behind the counter was so friendly when we first approached but it was a bit too friendly, came across as quite desperate for customers (restaurant was empty) this should have been the first red flag! He kept pushing the bacon and avocado baguette and the garlic chips! We decided to stay to eat and my sister ordered the bacon and avocado baguette with garlic chips and I ordered the same baguette he was so pushy, do you want chips, “no” do you want coleslaw “no” I just want a baguette!! The tables were all sticky and clearly not wiped down for new customers. Inside was so dark and dingy so we moved tables to the outside area in the mall! The food arrived and it was an absolute disgrace! The baguette was as dry as a bone, no butter, the bacon was the pre packed already cooked nasty tasting stuff and we had 2 minuscule pieces of avocado inside not at all worth the nearly 10 quid we paid! I went inside to complain and ask for a refund and that’s when the very friendly guy turned really nasty, shouting and in our face, couldn’t believe it!! He was so rude telling me everything has gone up and that’s why he has to give so little inside the baguettes, he did refund us in the end but that is more because we were making a scene and quite frankly he was probably embarrassed of the food that came out of his restaurant (sorry cafe) if it is even worthy of calling itself that!! Honestly there are many other nice sandwich bars in Croydon you don’t need to put yourself through that!!"

"Very disappointed with the whole experience, we chose the restaurant on the menu that was shown on open table app, however on arrival this menu was not a available and the overall choice was very poor. On arrival at the restaurant our reservation had not be received from the open table booking but they were able to accommodate us, the staff to customer ratio was very low making the service very slow and confused at times. The food when arrived, (we all took the steaks),was tasty but the accompaniments were very disappointing, only cherry tomatoes, no other vegetables or side orders available. In summary a very disappointing meal at £60 a head, the restaurant is living off the name and not off the service or food, we will not be going back."

"This restaurant is a fantastic place - I adore the concept, the food, the prices, and the staff! Honestly, one of the best salads and salad fillings I've had in a while. I highly recommend this place, especially for lunch. It's only a 3-minute walk to the beach, which is a bonus. I discovered it's right next to the Premier Inn. I wish we had a restaurant like this where I live! Delicious."

"Visited today and yesterday for breakfast when staying in the area. The food was perfect! . I prefer my scrambled eggs soft and the request is rarely granted, but I was delighted to say that here it was and served with a smile too. What a wonderful little place this is. The menu selection is extensive but not overwhelming and I observed that the serving staff took time to take orders. Thank you team Cappadocia! I highly recommend if anyone happens to be in the area! PS The coffee was also great!"

"We visited this restaurant during our time in Norwich after hearing great things about the food. We were not disappointed. The menu was amazing, with a wide variety of options from small sushi selections to bento boxes. Every dish we tried tasted perfect and was beautifully presented with artistic flair. The staff were welcoming and friendly, happy to explain dishes and offer suggestions. The decor was simple and clean, and the selection of wines and sakes was decent. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience and would highly recommend this restaurant."

"The restaurant was closed when I arrived, so I can't give any stars in any category. Open Table has apologized and awarded me 1,000 points, but they don’t seem to be redeemable in the UK! "HALAL STATUS: Halal food options (prepped cooked separately) • Alcohol pork served. Currently, HotBox has two items on a concise menu, namely the Beef Rib Tacos, and the Smoked Brisket burger, as well as a BBQ jackfruit burger. HotBox though is a story of two halves, with us having visited them on two separate occasions. While the menu is, admittedly, limited, our first visit during opening week saw us only try their Beef Brisket burger, which turned out to be chalk and cheese in comparison to the one we were served the second time round. Perhaps this was just one of those days, because HotBox does have some very good reviews in general. Having said that though, and given the dearth of such cuisine, it's worth trying them out (and do let us know in the comments section below how things went)."

"we arrived 10 minutes early for our booking, but were not allowed. we wanted to wait outside. the personal was good. would you think they were a Greek restaurant that they would have calamari? No, it wasn't on camp. while eating was good, the portions were all too cocky and expensive. much too much brot per serving, but only 5 cubes of chicken on the spits. chips were beautiful, but at the top of the evening was the view of the face of the server when she realized that we did not place the additional 12.5 tip, which conveniently under the total number on our review. different from visiting again."

The packaging environmentally friendly (unlike The Sushi Co who I've used once and never again! . Sushi54 has been part of my life for years. "Brasserie with a view of the Tower Bridge. The place is very busy and a reservation is needed. There is an outside terrace with heaters. The atmosphere is nice, especially the little details. The menu has an appealing design. Silverware and plates have vintage charm. Dishes are not very big, well presented. Food is tasty, but not remarkable. The service is slow. The overall impression is positive. Great location with a view and decent food at a relatively good value for money. I had onion soup with truffle and also wild mushroom and truffle linguini. Both dishes were just god enough."

"During our visit to the Christmas markets in December, my family and I dined at this restaurant and were so pleased with our experience that we returned for a second meal. The staff was incredibly welcoming, spoke English fluently, and were patient with my attempts to speak German. The menu offered a wide variety of options to suit everyone's tastes, and the food was fantastic with generous portion sizes.
