"We were celebrating my birthday. This was a return visit to the restaurant as we loved the lobster wellington we had the previous time. We ordered it again and still thought it was great. Although expensive it does come with various side dishes. The menu overall is excellent as there is lots of seafood on it which we love. We had a lovely cote du Rhine white wine with it. As the main is so filling though we shared an interesting chocolate dessert which was plenty for us. The staff were attentive and friendly answering our questions. Service was very good. After our meal, we also had a tour of the new basement levels with the pool and spa. We had watched the recent documentary on tv. and we were fascinated by this massive engineering task. We love our luxury London hotels but especially Claridge’s. It’s so beautiful."

"so happy that this fantastic place has found in the city. I loved the interieur that brings the memories back to me to work in bayern years ago. the beer was fantastic and I had a nice ham and kartoffel salad, which was a great light lunch. I was a bit jealous when I saw the sausages were brought up next to me. the atmosphere was great, staff very friendly! defo will be back soon for another pint! and the next time! thank you team and well done!"

"Just found this cafe and really impressed. Much bigger inside than it looks from the front. Initially I,d dismissed it because I wrongly thought it was just Vegan but so mistaken. Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten free and Meat-All tastes caters for. Great selection of Vegan and gluten free cakes and biscuits which suited my wife as well as offering Vegi or Meat cooked breakfast. For me the best bit was the 3 different roasts of coffee which they do in-house. If you have kids they have loads of board games and if you are a student and it is near some of the Uni accommodation) its a great place to settle in with your laptop and recharge your phone. To top it off, the staff were delightful. Its on Christchurch Rd, near The Landsdowne and 5 mins walk from the train station. Would be great to keep it as my own little secret venue but seems unfair not to share. Enjoy."

"I had booked Lang for a birthday for my boyfriend and we were both very exited to try it out, however it was an absolute disaster. We had both ordered paninis and then some time later were told they had run out of that bread, so they gave us another option for a different type of bread and we were happy with that. Then they gave our lunch to another table, then informed us that they had then ran out of the second type of bread we had ordered. One of the waitresses kept coming an apologising and gave us a complimentary slice of cake between two. Then they eventually brought out our lunch on sourdough bread, which was tough and also small with a whole plate filled with lettuce. I felt that it wasn't worth the money that we had paid and walked out of there very disappointed and without them offering some form of compensation. I don't think a slice of cake cuts it."
