"As I made my reservation before arrival with special request to my partners birthday. We arrived at Lang, but it wasn't fully booked, therefore the waitress said to take place where we wanted because it wasn't full. I couldn't mention directly that we reserved for my partners birthday.. But after a minute my whispering helped . The food we ordered is very good. We know with our experience of Shangri-la in Asia that the breakfast is fantastic. At Lang Is also very quality food. I would say thanks to the surprise birthday cake because my love Sabrina was very happy about this. Thanks foe laking this perfect !"

Sat outside by the entrance to the Shard and had the constant noise from the nearly escalator buzzing in our ears. Service was really slow, not recommended.

This is an amazing place for afternoon tea. The staff were extremely helpful on picking teas. They let you smell the tea leaves, and the coffee was brilliant.

Not great, considering it's part of Shangri-La group. We just had drinks which were really nice, but the toilet (there is only one) was untidy with hardly any toilet roll and no hand towels and the café itself was a bit untidy. Felt like Starbucks standard.

Went with my partner and we welcomed with a warm atmosphere. The waiters are extremely friendly and always willing to help and attend to your needs. The food was amazing, taste and quantity. The options of drinks were not limited and freshly prepared. Would recommend this place for a morning breakfast date, lunch etc.

The website looks amazing but sadly the experience doesn't match up. Dirty floors and having our experience interrupted and completely spoiled by a loud drunk who invited himself onto our table forcing us to leave early....not what I was wanting for my girlfriends trip to London We informed the staff why we were leaving....did anything happen? I dont think so.

What impressed me was that right the moment I came it they set me on my table and everyone was so nice,friendly and extremely patient!The atmosphere was very pleasing and it took so quick for the food to be ready and everything was absolutely delicious!It was unbelievable how such an important and and central place seemed to be so easy to get in and just have a great time,instead of all the fuss about the rest of the places in The Shard!

"No doubt about it the food is first rate. Expertly cooked and well seasoned. The service is not what one would expect at a restaurant of this level (e.g. having to ask for wine list or water refill). Retaining qualified staff is challenging but the top restaurants manage that. Glass all around and close tables make for a loud and crowded environment but ambiance is clearly not a priority. If you only go for the food and not the experience it’s fine."

"My third time in the morning. I stole my friend with me, as I told him, it's the best restaurant in London and it wasn't disappointed. Parmesan fritters were exceptional as usual, and the kitchen shared our sausage Ragu Pasta (which should die for), in two pots when we said we share everything. Friend asked if we could come monthly from now on to enjoy the changing menus! Best meal we ever had. Thank you very much! X"

"Apparently they were very busy (just as a side note I booked in advance) so we were seated in the downstairs “breakfast room” rather than in the lobby level afternoon tea room (the room that is advertised with the nice tea sets and cute sofas an quirky tea room interior). That was already very disappointing. The room was in the lower ground level, it had a few breakfast tables, but otherwise felt empty and in addition the doors were closed. Luckily, another family arrived and was seated in the same room as us, so we felt a little less isolated and abandoned afterwards. The food was not even average in terms of quality, the sandwiches and scones were OK, but the cakes (although there was a selection of them) were not good at all. They were dry and somewhat tasteless. Definitely not reflecting the price! The friendliness and kindness of the waitress was the best part of the experience. She was extremely nice to us and to our dog. Overall, the afternoon tea at the Egerton House Hotel was disappointing and massively overpriced (we paid £184 for two including one glass of champagne each and the dog’s menu). The only benefit of this experience (or let’s say the only experience) is that you can bring your dog. But is it worth it? The answer is most definitely NO!!!!!!"

"Malaysian and Cantonese menu. Nice decor, well air-conditioned, very friendly and chatty staff. I had Aromatic crispy duck starter this was one of the best I've tried, the duck was cooked well and very delicious. The pancakes are big. Nasi Lenka the chicken was delicious, rice flavoured with coconut, side of peanuts and egg and a paste sauce. Anchovies I am not keen on so didn't eat them. I enjoyed this dish. Crisp beef it is very crispy cooked all the way through so it doesn't even taste like beef anymore and covered in a sweet sauce. It was like eating niknaks. I didn't enjoy this dish as much as the rest. Golden prawns giant prawns covered in crushed cornflakes. Again this tatsed too sweet for me, I enjoyed the prawns but I wouldn't recommend. Complimentary prawn crackers. This came to over £100 for 2 people. I feel like this was a little pricey. Parked on single yellow."

"This restaurant is my absolute favorite. I have dined here more than 5 times and have never had a negative experience. The flavors left my taste buds thrilled and the cozy atmosphere and outstanding service made for a truly unforgettable dining experience. Plus, there was even belly dancing to enjoy!"
