"Service very poor. I’d booked a table about 5-7 days before for 3 of us when booking was asked if it was an occasion which it was my birthday. When we arrived they had my booking but hasn’t saved a nice table was offered one which was right by the toilet, managed to move after 15min when I saw a table empty. Took a long time to order food and by the time it was out turn they had already ran out of some of the salads and it wasn’t even 1pm. When the food finally arriveswd I had a ask the waiter to add more salad to one of my guest as it was ½ the quantity to the other one, which they weren’t very happy about me asking. I want be going back in a hurry which is sad as I’m in that area often"

"Myself and my sister went here for a birthday brunch for me and her Mother's Day gift from my. nephew. The afternoon was lovely. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We went for the bottomless Prosecco brunch which flowed throughout. I would definitely return for this brunch in the future. The set up was cosy and welcoming."

"My friend and I visited the original Stack and Still on a Saturday morning for brunch. This was my first time ever visiting the restaurant. The restaurant is lovely inside, although I would say that the tables are quite tightly packed and you can easily...eavesdrop into the conversation next to you. When presented with the menu, there were lots of options of both sweet and savoury pancakes, or the option to create your own. I opted for a mango smoothie, which was nice but nothing special. It was also quite pricey for the amount that you received. For our pancakes, I opted for the breakfast stack, which included lorne sausage, bacon, beans, black pudding, fried onions and eggs, whilst my friend who is vegetarian customised her own. The pancakes themselves really are lovely. We both chose buttermilk pancakes, which were light and fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness. However, the toppings were rather disappointing. The egg, beans and bacon were fine (although it shouldn't be hard to get this right). The black pudding was clearly very low quality and tasted quite bland, whilst the lorne sausage was hard and overcooked. The service was good, again, nothing outstanding. Overall, I wouldn't rush back to this venue. I was very excited because I think the concept is fantastic, although it would appear to me to be style over substance."

"so an incredible place to go. the staff and all the others are so friendly. they welcome them a big smile and they give the best customer service of all time. their milkshakes are beyond this world and their crests are spectacular. such a lovely cozy, clean and refreshing place to go. from food to shaking flowers to workers they have the whole package. "I used to enjoy breakfast at the old man's place, and I understand how things can change with new ownership. I’m happy to report that since the new owners took over, the breakfast sandwiches are still excellent. During my visits around Northfield, especially when Tyler was closed, I've discovered that this is the best spot to go for breakfast. Typically, I order sandwiches for five people, and the orders are always accurate and well-prepared. The staff is friendly and attentive to my requests, and the food is great. Looking forward to coming back next weekend!"

"Sadly this place could have the perfect recipe for success, BUT.... The owner struts around like a peacock pandering to his loud mouthed acquaintances, who seem to frequent the place. They swear indiscriminately and loudly, and the whole culture and environment is one of a Bigg Market pub, which is definitely not somewhere I’d take my children for a bite to eat. The owner’s arrogance is very off putting he openly takes orders in the rear garden from his friends, yet quite happily tells everyone else “there’s no table service, you need to walk round to the front to order”. We’ve visited here a few times recently and each time experienced the same friends of the owner given priority when it comes to ordering, receiving drinks and food, etc., and the language and general behaviour of this sort of clientele really isn’t our thing when we have children with us. The food ingredient wise is great, but the wait is very long (particularly when you’re put to the back of the queue in favour of others) and when it arrives, is luke warm. Such a shame, as the other staff are pleasant enough, and it’s in an ideal location for passing trade, etc. The owner just needs to wind his neck in and stop trying to impress his mates altogether embarrassing."

"The gym is brand new, so everything is in excellent condition. On another note, it's fantastic not to worry about hand towels, locks for the lockers, or water. Towels are provided just like at a five-star hotel, and the bathroom facilities are reminiscent of what you would find in a wellness area—although I do wish they had a sauna and steam room. There's also a great kitchen for breakfast or brunch afterward, or you can grab a protein shake prepared for you while you work out. Everything is perfectly timed, making the entire experience incredibly efficient and truly deserving of a five-star rating!"
