"Classic restaurant part of Fortnum and Mason. Went specifically for their wild selections. Game Bird did not disappoint, but might be too overpowering for some diners. Dishes were very enjoyable, and portions were very generous. Even the small portions we ordered were quite big. Will want to come back to try their caviar dish where they do table service scrambled eggs. Quite a posh experience."

"No doubt about it the food is first rate. Expertly cooked and well seasoned. The service is not what one would expect at a restaurant of this level (e.g. having to ask for wine list or water refill). Retaining qualified staff is challenging but the top restaurants manage that. Glass all around and close tables make for a loud and crowded environment but ambiance is clearly not a priority. If you only go for the food and not the experience it’s fine."
