"This place has always been nice to go to. The staff are nice and don't rush you to go and there is a variety if food/desert options. If its your birthday and you've signed up to their mailing list you get a free birthday sundae which you can use within 1 week if your birthday so great if you want to get something but spend much. Its a little expensive but the chances of you leaving with any item and still feeling hungry is incredibly low. There is often kitchen roll on the table to clean up the mess you make and a bucket you can put on your head for fun I'll keep coming here as people keep getting me vouchers"

"The staff at this restaurant are very accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere is comfortable with cozy beds, air conditioning, and windows that open. The hotel also offers a gym, jacuzzi, and other amenities. The menu at the hotel restaurant is quite good and reasonably priced. The car park is easily accessible and well-lit. The location is convenient, near the A1/A19 and the main Newcastle-Sunderland Road."

"Took a very long to get served. Took 1 hour to get our food. Asked for a desert menu and it took half an hour to get, had to chase after the staff to get it. They then brought the wrong desert. I understand it can be busy and there might be less staff but being in a restaurant for 2 hours 45 minutes to get a main and dessert is ridiculous"

"Meat feast! Went there with a mate for his birthday, first visit for both of us. Had a quick pint at the Bar first, the cask ale from siren was great. Bit concerned that only one cask ale on, but loads of slightly pricier craft stuff. Once sat at our table we were told of a new to share dish colossus! Made up of 1/4 chickens, pork ribs, bed rib and pulled pork, great choice. Portions were huge and all of the meat flavoured and cooked to perfection. BBQ doesn't get much better than this. "I had been looking forward to visiting from Huddersfield for some time and we were also celebrating a birthday. Unfortunately our experience wasn't great. Initially we had to wait for our table to be ready when we arrived and after eventually ordering we were told half an hour later that there were no more beef ribs left bearing in mind we weren't dining late and there were only 3 sorts of ribs available was a little disappointing especially when this is a rib joint. We managed to decide on something else but I found the pork ribs to be quite tough when they came. Eaten in few of these types of places in my time and it wasn't the greatest experience in comparison. Was just glad we had 50% off vouchers."
