"Tonight we served by Osman from Bristol Cribbs Causeway who gave us exceptional services, his courtesy, incredibly friendly, attentive, recommendations, and nothing is too much trouble for him He took our drinks order and asked if we’re dining out for a special occasion we told him it’s our Ange’s 70s birthday, Osman wishes Ange a happy birthday and immediately offered a free birthday drink for Ange which make her so happy and over the moon, after that he took our foods order I always ordered Xinxim, however Osman explained to me your restaurant stop doing it because allergies issue so he recommended another dish for me which was so delicious, he’s definitely having a thorough knowledge of the food in your restaurant As Osman walked pass our table he noticed we’re having a trouble to take a group picture so he offered to take few pictures for us, thank you Osman for your attentiveness to our table What a lovely night to celebrate Ange’s 70 birthday, delicious food, exceptional services from Osman and atmosphere, definitely go back We haven’t received such an exceptional services for a long long time, we are so pleased Osman served us and he is a credit to Las Iquanas"

"EVOO is Extra Virgin Olive Oil . Why did i say this at the start, we kept staring at menu wondering what it was , as most dishes would have it . We went there on one of the bank holidays. There was a wait time about 5 mins. We were served by a friendly staff. Learned kids get juice and ice cream as part of the meal deal. We opted for panosso. I was expecting a small sandwich but what we got was a large sourdough bread sandwich. It was quite a portion and we had to take leftover home (they don't mind) . Overall for 2 person and 1 small kid the cost was £19 to give you a cost perspective . There is definitely lack in the the type of filling used (chicken) but there are plenty of other places to go. When it comes to authentic Italian food with quality ingredients which can be quite good for your body, this is a good place. We will be back for a pizza (son ordered it) it was delicious"

"Was great to be able to eat at Bella Italia again . Sadly missed some items from the old menu, in particular the seafood pasta dish which was my favourite and myMums. We did however enjoy the pasta and prawn dish we selected instead. We were very disappointed by one of the starters we chose (I know they don’t call them starters now) which was the ravioli. As you’d expect it was described as being parcels containing a filling. When we tried them they were empty parcels. Very disappointing. They were removed from our bill but this dish needs addressing as no one is going to find them acceptable."

"This was our first visit to this restaurant, but it certainly won't be our last. We ordered the enchiladas with hot and volcanic sauce, and they were absolutely delicious. They also offer large 710ml bottles of Corona beer. The staff was very friendly, and the restroom facilities were clean. I would definitely recommend this place."

She even managed to persuade my wife to try a side of spicy baby potatoes, which was quite amusing since she typically avoids anything spicy. I had a good laugh at that! "Waited to be seated while 2 waitresses chatted while a queue was forming behind us Sat down at a table where there had obviously been a child as there were fries on the floor that were not cleaned up The waitress took our order and came back 5 minutes later as she couldn’t remember 2 of our drinks Waited 10 minutes for the drinks and 20 minutes for food The pasta had very little flavour but the garlic bread was nice,no bruschetta so maybe tell people that when you sit them down as 3 of our party then had no starters The drinks are the Maoist expensive on the coliseum and they are the only cashless restaurant there and encourage you to use the QR code in the table to pay to save them time,they don’t worry about getting a tip as again the only restaurant on the coliseum to add a service charge Definitely not worth the charge as service cleanliness and food nothing special"

"We arrived at 2:30 PM and placed our order within ten minutes. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy at the time. By 3 PM, I inquired about the long wait for our food, but the waitress couldn't explain the delay. I had already prepaid to ensure we wouldn't be late for a movie starting at 3:20. By that time, my two children and I were becoming frustrated. Once again, the waitress was unsure why our food was taking so long. At 3:25, I requested a refund, opting to grab a snack at the cinema instead. The manager approached us and promised that our food was on its way. Just a minute later, it finally arrived. Unfortunately, the tacos were soggy, and the chicken in my salad was dry. We ended up feeling rushed to eat. I would advise avoiding this restaurant unless you're okay with waiting nearly an hour for subpar food."

"Visited here just before Christmas with a friend. There were a couple of large parties in so as you would expect the service was extremely slow. eventually we ordered (the same thing chicken fajitas) and it arrived. None of it was sizzling but it tasted ok. Eventually we ordered a dessert and a coffee and then waited ages before getting the bill resulting in us being one the last to leave. The food was mediocre and the service poor. Early the next morning and for the next 3 days my friend and I suffered terribly with what appeared to be food poisoning. We had eaten the same and had both experienced the same outcome several hours later. Needless to say it spoilt the rest of our Christmas. My friend called Chiquitos to let them know what had happened and to see if anyone else had complained. Apparently someone was going to call back. They never did. Not sure we will be visiting this restaurant again in a hurry unless I want rapid weight loss"

"I recently celebrated my grandmother's birthday here with my family. The service was a bit slow, but we did visit on a Saturday. The food was fresh and served hot! I really enjoyed my appetizers, the jalapeño poppers, although the sauce was a little too sweet for my taste—I have diabetes, so I have to be mindful of my sugar levels. However, the hostess at Chiquitos was absolutely delightful and quickly arranged a table for us without any hassle. She made us feel very welcome, and the rest of the staff were also friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, and we experienced no delays, making it easy to enjoy our meal before the movie. I would definitely recommend it for a pre- or post-cinema outing. It had a lively atmosphere that seemed perfect for dining with friends. We'll definitely be back!"

"Upon arrival, we found ourselves waiting at the desk without acknowledgment of our open table booking, making the reservation pointless. The staff seemed disinterested in our confirmation and instead directed us to sit and wait in the bar before rushing outside. This strange first impression continued as the restaurant appeared half full yet we were left waiting at the bar. The barman neglected to take our drink orders, which would have improved our experience. After 10 minutes, one staff member informed us that a table was being cleared for us at the front, only for another staff member to seat us at a different table in the back. This made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Despite representing over £100 in revenue as a group of four, we felt like a low priority. However, once seated, the typical service experience at a Chiquito chain restaurant was good, with drinks, orders, and food served promptly. We had no complaints about the food and were pleased to be able to use a student discount, saving 25%. In the future, I believe more attention should be paid to first impressions, as my companion was initially tempted to leave but I convinced them to stay."
