"Can't believe it has been nearly years since our last visit. Restaurant opened again weeks ago after major refurbishment. You would not recognise the place. Gorgeous and total new layout. Staff were amazing and so friendly. Food was out of this world. Staff guided us on what to order and was not disappointed. Starters and main were equally as good. Made a promise to have something different on each visit. Will be back soon as we were always regular customers proir to the closure and covid.We wish the new owners all the very best with their new restaurant."

"The food at this restaurant is delicious, but their non-delivery service is a major let down. We waited 50 minutes for our delivery this time, and had a similar experience in the past when a 30 minute order took over an hour. The website said it would be 45 minutes this time, but when we called to inquire about the delay, we were told the driver was 'on his way'. When we asked how much longer it would be, we were told it would be another 20-30 minutes. This would have made it a total of 70-80 minutes from the time of ordering. When we tried to clarify how it could be both 'on his way' and '20-30 minutes more', we were met with silence and no attempt to resolve the issue. We decided to cancel the order, and were thankful that we had chosen to pay with cash on delivery, as it gave us that option. We will not be giving this restaurant a third chance, that is for sure."

"Food was delicious. I felt that the rice to share was certainly very small and we were eating from the a La carte menu. We asked for desert and a coffee they didn’t have the desert we wanted and the coffee machine was out of order. I also asked for irn bru and they didn’t have that either. Overall was a nice meal, however let down by lack of things on the menu."

"Been reading recent reviews of this place and i'm surprised to see so many are very negative. I ordered tonight because I want to check out all the Indian takeaways in my area. I was not disappointed. Food was hot, service great and delivered in good time. Flavour wise I really enjoyed it. Had Lamb Ceylon, Mushroom Rice, Onion Bhajis, Poppadoms and Naan and scoffed the lot. Withholding 1 star as I can't say if they're consistent but I will definitely order again based on tonight's meal."

"we had traveled from Australia to do the north coast 500 and spent a night in edinburgh. after a long day of traveling and sightseeing we needed an Indian experience and stumbled over ronaq on craigleith rd near where we were. we have tried an Indian in every city we traveled to, and no one is close to this. the best Indian we have experienced in our travels and in our home country. they make one fall and do not look for something better. they will not find it. ask also for benny and get the best service with an end after dinner mint with their bill. brilliant. many thanks. 12/10 review by us."

"Told it's a good place to eat with tasty food. Agree to this and the waitress who served the table was nice and helpful. I was told look at for the man at the front who will try to rush you and speaks rudely to you if you're of the same colour. Had the experience with him as you can hear him speaking so polite to the other tables. I would go again if he was not there!!!"

"Just a quick review, we were walking about looking for somewhere to eat and come across this place. We try to find small businesses rather than big chains to support them. My partner and I had a good experience here and the fried rice was one of the best I've ever had. We had more than we could eat, the portions were good and i really enjoyed my meal. Service was with a smile and prompt, my only suggestion would be to give this little place a makeover if ever possible as quite tired. Also like to point out this Indian is by far the cheapest around where you could pay double just by walking a few streets. Overall all lovely experience enjoyed my food what more could you want?"

"my friend and I visited jasmine last night at 10 a.m. for a late dinner. the restaurant is such a hidden gem! we loved the family ambiente and warm welcome. we were greeted with a smile, quickly handed over menus and sitting. Despite the restaurant that was closed at an hour, we were not getting angry and nothing was too much of a problem. we ordered the Thai fish cakes, lemon fish, chicken green curry and tom yam soup. the fish cakes were perfect! a great size. the curry was one of the best curries I ever had. the perfect combination of aromen. the lemon fish (sea bass) was nice, but I found it had no taste. I am very pleased that we visited yesterday. we will definitely return! I also have a heavy nut allergy and the restaurant was so courteous. we can't wait to go back!"

"The food at the restaurant was not as good as it had been in previous visits. The service was casual. The shared starter was good as expected, but we were unsure about some of the ingredients. The biryani was mostly rice with a dry texture and burnt on the bottom of the pot, not following the recipe. The paneer masala was nothing special and disappointing, served in a dish with no place to put the rice. We could have gotten something similar for a lower price elsewhere. We have always celebrated our wedding at Prashads and had excellent food and service, but this time was a disappointing and expensive evening."

"I made an order which had 3 curry’s one curry container was ok and filled up the other 2 curry containers was less then half filled. Uber eats told me to contact them. I have rang them asking why? His reply was larger containers and some curry’s are less sauce??? As you can see by my photos the difference between the portions of curry’s. Customer service is appalling. I work in the restaurant industry and would never talk to a customer the way I was spoken to. Definitely won’t be ordering from there again my mistake as there are plenty of other Indian take away max and I stupidly chose this one. Not even an apology or anything."

"if I were ordered for the first time, I would ignore the bad reviews, read the positive reviews, then order and form their own spirit we have ordered 7 years of them. we have never experienced any tasty bites or broken poppadome, although that would not be a surprise. if you had a popadom before. the food is really delicious and I also like how friendly the team are on the phone and personally when they jump in for the collection. it is our favorite Indian kidnapper in brighton. "The little gem on Fleet Road! The restaurant is quite small inside but very clean and well decorated! We had popadoms and pickle tray for starters which was excellent, they had a red dip which had onion, coriander and mint (I think), which was so tasty Our mains and sundries were all really great tasting Indian food. I had prawn dansak which was the best dansak I’ve had and I’ve visited a lot of Indian restaurants, it was so tasty, just a pity I couldn’t finish it The other dish we had was a Indian chilli garlic type dish which again was up there as the best we had tasted. Naan breads were really good and the garlic mushroom rice is a must have Service was excellent, very attentive, asking if our meal was ok, asking if our drinks needed a refill before they were empty, very good! The food is very well priced for what you get in terms of quantity and bags of taste We were given hazelnut chocolate at the end of our meal and Ameretto shots, which was a great way to end the meal. Highly recommend visiting and tasting the delights of Rajdoot if ever visiting or passing through the area Thanks for a great meal guys!"

"Our party of 22 visited this restaurant late at night after a show, and they were very accommodating in serving such a large group at once. We placed our orders in advance, which helped with efficiency. I enjoyed the chicken balti, sharing a rice and keema naan with another person, which was plenty of food. The curry was delicious, and I would definitely consider returning if I found myself in the area again."
