"we were looking for a good, reliable place for a ride in bristol. we pass bocabar finzels reach quite regularly on walks and saw that they had a weekend brunch so for our weekly trip, we stopped by. bocabar make two versions of a...fry up, the very english and the boca full. the big difference is dinge as a hit and is doubled and the addition of black pudding for the boca full. we both ordered the boca full. we also have a 2-4-1 beverage menu. the good. portioning on the boca full were considerable, the mushrooms were well boiled, the beaters were delicious, and the broth was well roasted. the kartoffel rose was beautiful and crispy on the outside. the drinks were quite strong. That's not so good. the potato-roost was crispy, but he had an almost peasant texture in the inner that was strange. the boca full should contain a black pudding, but we had to ask for the serving, and what came out was not hot, nor was it very delicious, and tastefully processed. the sausages were average and cooked more. Apart from some cuts, there was no season before they came out. we didn't get any butter with our toast. that really wasn't so good. Despite the clean space was the table sticky, so much that the salt and pepper shakers were practically glued to the table and the woman had to take off her dish from the table after we had our elbows during the waiting. the chairs in the dining area are small as the primary school small. While we wanted to like a place that was so close to home, we can not recommend going back based on our experience."

"I definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food. I was invited to a 60th birthday dinner and judging by the menu I could not tell whether this was supposed to be authentic Italian or African cusine to my disappointment it was neither. The food was sub standard and cold and the wait between courses was over 90 minutes. For starters, I ordered the Prawn Gamberi, which had a very watery garlic sauce and with frozen king prawns. The main was the lamb dish, which had reheated potatoes and good old Bisto gravy, which was poured over my lamb (not asked whether this was wanted) and very salty green beans. I sure was not going to order a dessert after that. Another guest in my party had what was called seafood risotto but was in actual fact wet rice absolutely shocking. They didn't even use Aborio rice. The beef stroganoff on some plates were dry and the order that was placed with chips had a weird watery cream sauce. The Jellof rice...well some people would have been offended and the spaghetti bolognese for my child was salty and disgusting with overcooked pasta. I can't even be bothered to write about the cocktails if you could call them that!!! Had I been the one paying the bill I would have demanded a discount for this inedible food. I would suggest the owners/chefs decide what type of restaurant this is and go out and taste some real authentic cuisines because they are not serving it. If Gordon Ramsey was still presenting on Kitchen Nightmares, I would have suggested visiting this place to give it an overhaul. How **** dare you what a disgrace."

"Have visited for the bottomless pizza and prosecco deal in the past and have really enjoyed it, this time however not so much. We had a table booked for 7pm on a Saturday night as when booked over the phone was advised that the bottomless deal lasts all day. Unfortunately on the night our train into Leeds was delayed due to bad weather. I tried contacting the restaurant several times to let them know we would be late but there was no answer. We finally arrived at the restaurant at 7.30pm to be told we could still have our table but we wouldn 't be able to have the bottomless deal as it couldn 't be put through the till after 7pm . We were offered a similar deal but were disappointed with this as our friends had never been and were looking forward to having the bottomless pizza. Our food and drink came which again wasn 't great as my pizza was burnt underneath. This didn 't particularly bother me as I was quite hungry at this point, but still, not ideal. Later on in the evening a member of our party unfortunately had a bad fall outside the toilets as the floor was covered in flour from where the pizzas were being made in the open kitchen. Credit where credit is due a member of staff did rush over to help her up but this still is unacceptable. As compensation one of our drinks was taken off our bill but this didn 't matter as we had already decided we wouldn 't be coming back. Really disappointed in our visit after having such a good time previously. Plenty of other places in Leeds offer just as good if not better bottomless deals. Avoid!"
