"On arrival we were told only the bar menu was available as there’d been a “mix-up” in the kitchen. I ordered the vegetable pizza, which should have included spinach, mushrooms and olives. None of these were on my pizza. All I had was a base similar to a burnt crisp, with a few slices of onion and red pepper, and which was absolutely tasteless. I complained to the waiter (who was very apologetic) and was offered a new pizza. The first one had taken ages to be made, so I declined. I had also ordered a side salad, but this was not provided. I reminded the waiter, who admitted he’d forgotten to order it. When it eventually arrived, it was nothing more than a handful of leaves out of a packet with one slice of tomato. No dressing. I asked for dressing and the waiter brought a squeezy bottle of balsamico to the table. Again, this was absolutely tasteless. To his credit, the waiter did not charge me for my meal, but we will certainly not be going back to Cathedral 73."
