"so happy that this fantastic place has found in the city. I loved the interieur that brings the memories back to me to work in bayern years ago. the beer was fantastic and I had a nice ham and kartoffel salad, which was a great light lunch. "the hotel is located in the center of glasgow city and close to the university strathclyde and city of glasgow college city campus, where the students can enjoy the services up to 9 clock at the weekend, where the libraries closed around 6 or sometimes closed. there have been really very good services and a simple app to order exactly where they need to sit they don't stand and wait for wait. there are outdoor seats where you can enjoy the weather when it is sunny and cloudy or just in the 1st floor where it is quite and pleasant for studying. good food for all meals breakfast, lunch and dinner. for dessert to go for pancakes or waffeln with nutella n bananenscheibe."

"I visited Putney Canteen to meet my friend Danielle Kinsella for brunch a few weeks ago. I had heard about this place on Zomato and wanted to try it out. I opted for the vegetarian breakfast, which included 2 poached eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans, a vegetarian sausage, a hash brown, spinach, and toast. I was disappointed that the eggs were overcooked and not runny. Despite this, the rest of the breakfast was a good value for the price. We also shared the delicious banana pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup. We sat near the kitchen and enjoyed reading more about the restaurant."

"Beautiful location with a view of Old Trafford, the menu looks good at first glance. The service is very poor considering how under staffed the cafÃ is I guess that can be expected. The food we had was pretty awful, maybe we just had poor luck. Chicken Wings Starter- Completely raw chicken under breadcrumb coating Burgers ordered- This was average but we had no appetite after the raw starter this may have clouded our palettes on the main course Drinks- Cocktails are creative and tasty so are the milkshakes"

"We live locally and have been visiting Konnigans for years and never been disappointed. My husband and I used to come here when we were dating for cocktails and wine on our way home from work. Now we bring our baby when we can and they couldn’t be more accommodating. I think Konnigans is one of those rare venues that can really do it all it’s great for Drinks, Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner and the menu is so varied it always feels easy. We love the Staff, Menu Choice, Ambience They usually play good music and cool decor. See you again soon!"

"Every time I walked past to go to the cinema I said I would try Cocina as it catches your eye with the lights etc. Unfortunately I have a problem with red onion so it puts me off Mexican restaurants. I finally got the change to go and am glad I did. It was clean and so pretty inside. The music was good and mot too loud. It was out the way and not too busy. The waitress was helpful with my onion problem and I didn't react to any of the food which can happen. They have hats to take photos in and some interesting facts on the table about Norwich castle. I am glad I tried it and will go back at some point. Service was excellent. We got 20% off when purchasing cinema tickets."

"We had a wonderful evening at B&V last night. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the drinks were excellent, all of which are typical for a high-class restaurant. The staff were also friendly and attentive. It appears that the bar area is now more for decoration, as there was no dedicated bartender that I could see, unlike in previous years. In the past, the staff would also take our coats, and while it may seem trivial, these small gestures added a special touch that set the restaurant apart from its competition. Despite this, I still believe that B&V is the best restaurant in the area, but paying attention to these details could elevate it even further and compete with Cockfosters as well."

"We had read reviews of La Casa and were not disappointed. The food was lovely, authentic and very tasty, portions generous- we had a mix of vegetarian and meat Mezze, and the lamb cops with rosemary potatoes, orange cake and crema catalana for dessert. Service was friendly and swift. Recommend booking ahead, especially during festival season."

"It’s such a shame because I was really looking forward to staying in the hotel and eating here. They had run out of most things on the menu, it would have been better if they had explained that at the outset rather than hoping we wouldn’t pick something they didn’t have. The food we did have was ok, the chicken burger was nice enough but the side of slaw on the platter was warm which was slightly off putting. The chips were a soggy bundle in a separate dish, they looked homemade and should have been lovely but I don’t know what happened there. Overall there was just an air of tension. A foreign family came to eat at just after 20:30 and the kitchen had already closed. Probably because they had nothing left to serve but it was an uncomfortable exchange."

"The atmosphere was nice and cosy, but because we was sat by the back so we didn’t get a lot of attention from the waiters so we had to wave a lot for ages until someone noticed us. Or sometimes we had to get up from our seats and find someone to serve us. We opted for the Sunday roast, it was lovely but the Yorkshire puddings was hard as rocks so we need more gravy to soften it. But we couldn’t get the waiters to notice us to let them know for more gravy. I would go again because it was so close to the station and the atmosphere was very nice."

"Vegan food wasn’t without milk so couldn’t have the vegan meal If it is advertised as vegan, it should be vegan not then altered so that two components don’t go together. Sat totally separated from everyone else, waiter refused to move us despite there being lots of room. We were only a table of 2 and sat in our own, cut off section. Our friends invited us to join their long table, this was refused. No vegan puddings. One waiter was very helpful with my dietary requirements. Food arrived but chips were swiftly removed as apparently they weren’t for me and new ones arrived some time later. Overall, a really disappointing meal."

"when we were there, they said we didn't book. we ordered a bottle of wine, half an hour later they came back and said they ran out of the wine, 10 minutes after the waitress returned with a bottle of wine. the ordered appetizers took almost 1 hour to complain to us after 3 times, once arrived they were not hot. the main course lasted almost 2 hours to come back, had to complain several times, to the luck was hot, although the tip of my rice was clear dried out. we were next to teenagers (some kind of summer school) very loud and around like teenagers. Nevertheless, the restaurant should have put them in a functional room and not beside fully paying customers, I do not blame the youth at all. I felt very disappointed as this was the worst culinary experience we had for a very, very long time. the waitress worked extremely hard, I don't feel that any of them is their fault, not what they want after they celebrated the special day of their child"

"an improbable evening of the week led us to dinner in la lluna. it had come at the right time when a day was a bit of an attempt that helps to wonder with special tight friends. la lluna has the brightly illuminated clobular sign that will make you smile immediately. entering the restaurant is actually quite large. palms, many padded seating, high tables and chairs, window seats, a large bar area make this restaurant welcome. light, airy, clean and spacious with a red and white thema makes the restaurant area. a huge, striking painting that seems to be the sign image for la lluna covers the entire back wall."

"I thought this place was vegan, but it's not. happy cow has now updated. it sells dishes with eggs and salmon, but they still call themselves plant-based (their varieties). also, I ate and my smoothie was served in a plastic cup that is not only bad for the environment, but also not really inappropriate: they would not give my food in plastic plates or give me plastic cuts, so why the plastic cup? the service is also not good; when they realized that I was vegan, their way changed and wise. eating itself was best moderate and quite expensive for what it was. the smoothie was more like the stuffed juice than a normal smoothie. updated by previous review on 2021-12-03"

"central location on the seventh floor of the renaissance, with terrace offering a wonderful view of the cathedral. of course in the evening on the terrace, despite the gas mushrooms .... It's really cold. pizzas are good but normal. service young and absolutely not professional. very high prices especially for drinks. calculated that for a pizza and a drink you will definitely spend over the €... we in have spent euro. once in a while you can go ... more for the location than for other. even if I personally think I don't come back. ah. I forgot ... to climb up to the top floor take the elevator off positioned on the right side. Those inside are very crowded and difficult to take at certain times."

"It was our first visit last Friday, but hopefully not the last in this Curious Eatery! The menu is very unusual and takes care of all the appetites I would say. Portion size is generous and the dishes are very attractive. We chose these dishes with the African influence and were not disappointed. "Cowarth Park Afternoon Tea is fairly good but not so special as to know why it won the Best Award this year. The food was fresh and the tea good but I did not enjoy the fancy bread for the sandwiches and the scones looked very processed and left a bit of an after taste and the quince jam does not really suit scones as far as I am concerned. A scone to me should be of a round shape but it does not need to be perfect as these seemed to attempt to be, almost cylindrical. A fruit scone also should have fruit within it and not just a coupel of raisins on the side. The cakes were a little too sweet as well and, whilst it is the way with this type of meal and it was carried out very well, I prefer to pour my own tea exactly when I want it. Overall I have rated as 4 because it was nice enough but nothing extra special that I expected with the top award."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."
