I loved the interieur that brings the memories back to me to work in bayern years ago. the beer was fantastic and I had a nice ham and kartoffel salad, which was a great light lunch. "I am a big fan of Ad Lib. I enjoy both the Merchant City branch and the Hope Street branch. They often have an offer on Itison for a burger, sandwich, or salad for two people, which I take advantage of frequently. I recently discovered that they have an app with daily rotating offers. I have tried the classic burger, lamb burger, and chicken burger, all of which were delicious. The Cobb salad is also very filling. During my last visit, I tried the chicken, bacon, and tomato sandwich with a pint of Shipyard APA. Although my meal was good, it wasn't up to the usual standard. The ciabatta was tough, the sandwich dressing lacked flavor, and the chargrilled chicken was slightly overpowering. The salad dressing was too salty. The fries were great, but I would avoid this menu option in the future. Despite this, it won't stop me from returning as the overall experience is usually excellent. I recommend trying something off the daily specials board for a treat. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, great staff, and good music that isn't too loud. Although my last meal was disappointing, I would usually give them 5 out of 5 stars. I will stick to 4 for now, but hopefully, my next visit will be able to change that."

"Visited when Manchester United were playing away so I could watch the game on TV as I ate dinner. One of the managers (I assume? was very friendly and came over to speak to us early on, which was a nice touch. Saw him doing this with other tables too. We were sat by a window and had a nice close up view of Old Trafford, which is right opposite. There was a fair bit of a wait for the food, but I didn't mind this at all, as I was more interested in the football! When it came out, three of the pizzas were wrong, but it was dealt with immediately. Again, I didn't mind too much as my priorities were elsewhere, but they were very apologetic and even went as far to say they were embarrassed. They offered to take the one correct meal away to be replaced with a fresh one at the same time as the rest, but my wife declined the kind offer. When the correct food came out, it was good. Nothing incredible, but pretty much the standard I expected. We were able to enjoy and take our time eating while we watched the game. Eventually when we asked for the bill, I noticed it seemed a lot lower than what I had expected. I asked if something had been taken off (too honest for my own good! . The server explained that they'd taken off 20% because of the earlier errors, which was very nice of them to be honest. They wouldn't have even mentioned it if I hadn't, which was classy of them."

"Not sure if it was because I was solo but I have been here before and was treated much better. I had my food ceremoniously dumped on my table. I actually thought “What did I do ?” I felt like an inconvenience that’s for damn sure. I know you think I should be giving a lower rating but the food was passable (or was that because I was so hungry ! Apart from the soggy bun the chorizo burger was actually nice. I love the music, the decor but on this occasion I hope I never need a French Visa again or feel the need to come back!!!"

"I've been here several times. I had another experience every time. it is a busy business restaurant that has been popular since the day of its opening. my family and I went to lunch on Sunday. the restaurant was busy and loud! we were placed next to the open kitchen. we got menus and stayed there. after a night we asked if we could order a drink! we have fired! we have made our choice, the waiter came and my poor mother had a hard time to order. everything she wanted, she hadn't had it anymore! I found that unacceptable when a restaurant from certain elements on the menu, laughs, huh to name some, they should be given at the arrival when they give their menu. but the...read more"

"Every time I walked past to go to the cinema I said I would try Cocina as it catches your eye with the lights etc. Unfortunately I have a problem with red onion so it puts me off Mexican restaurants. I finally got the change to go and am glad I did. It was clean and so pretty inside. The music was good and mot too loud. It was out the way and not too busy. The waitress was helpful with my onion problem and I didn't react to any of the food which can happen. They have hats to take photos in and some interesting facts on the table about Norwich castle. I am glad I tried it and will go back at some point. Service was excellent. We got 20% off when purchasing cinema tickets."

"El Inca Plebeyo is probably by far our favourite restaurant in London. Chef Pacheco is always happy to give recommendations, his food is unbelievably good and beautifully presented!Service is really friendly and relaxed. This time we sat outside on the terrace, we had an amazing time and enjoyed some delicious caipirinha. Can't wait to be back! Gracias, Jorge!! Francesco Adriana"

"The restaurant is situated in a fantastic location, the food was delicious, and they even brought us extra sandwiches. They offered a variety of teas, with the server explaining the benefits of each one, and also provided unlimited coffee or hot chocolate. The service was exceptional - very attentive. Any uneaten food was boxed up for us to take with us."

"when we were there, they said we didn't book. we ordered a bottle of wine, half an hour later they came back and said they ran out of the wine, 10 minutes after the waitress returned with a bottle of wine. the ordered appetizers took almost 1 hour to complain to us after 3 times, once arrived they were not hot. the main course lasted almost 2 hours to come back, had to complain several times, to the luck was hot, although the tip of my rice was clear dried out. we were next to teenagers (some kind of summer school) very loud and around like teenagers. Nevertheless, the restaurant should have put them in a functional room and not beside fully paying customers, I do not blame the youth at all. I felt very disappointed as this was the worst culinary experience we had for a very, very long time. the waitress worked extremely hard, I don't feel that any of them is their fault, not what they want after they celebrated the special day of their child"

"Vegan food wasn’t without milk so couldn’t have the vegan meal If it is advertised as vegan, it should be vegan not then altered so that two components don’t go together. Sat totally separated from everyone else, waiter refused to move us despite there being lots of room. We were only a table of 2 and sat in our own, cut off section. Our friends invited us to join their long table, this was refused. No vegan puddings. One waiter was very helpful with my dietary requirements. Food arrived but chips were swiftly removed as apparently they weren’t for me and new ones arrived some time later. Overall, a really disappointing meal."

"Took my father here for fathers day. Some of the dishes were really nice and a couple were lacking flavour. The service was incredibly terrible. It soured the whole experience. I had to wave the waitress over to take our order when I saw that a couple that arrived after us were ordering. The waitress was not friendly at all and just walked off after i finished ordering so I wasnt even sure if she had ordered everything I asked for. The tortilla that we ordered hadnt arrived by the time we finished everything else. We waited for someone to take the empty plates so we could enquire about where the torilla was. No one came. I had to wave a waitress over to ask about how long it would take. She said she would check and left the empty plates on our table. She didnt come back and avoided my eye when she was in view. I waved another waitress over and she also didnt take the empty plates and said she would check on our missing dish but she did not come back either. Finally it came but there was no apology for the wait. The tortilla was stodgy...too much potato and too thick...it definitely wasnt worth the wait. I then had to wave my arm in the air to get the attention of someone to get the bill and also wave someone over, after waiting a bit, to take our money. No one was helpful or attentive the whole time we were there and I was gutted as it was supposed to be a treat for my dad. The beetroot salad wasnt great. Grapefruit and bland beetroot doesnt really go together. The crab and avocado was yummy, and the rosemary manchego was good. Although the food was good, I didnt rate the service or atmosphere."

"I thought this place was vegan, but it's not. happy cow has now updated. it sells dishes with eggs and salmon, but they still call themselves plant-based (their varieties). also, I ate and my smoothie was served in a plastic cup that is not only bad for the environment, but also not really inappropriate: they would not give my food in plastic plates or give me plastic cuts, so why the plastic cup? the service is also not good; when they realized that I was vegan, their way changed and wise. eating itself was best moderate and quite expensive for what it was. the smoothie was more like the stuffed juice than a normal smoothie. updated by previous review on 2021-12-03"

"central location on the seventh floor of the renaissance, with terrace offering a wonderful view of the cathedral. of course in the evening on the terrace, despite the gas mushrooms .... It's really cold. pizzas are good but normal. service young and absolutely not professional. very high prices especially for drinks. calculated that for a pizza and a drink you will definitely spend over the €... we in have spent euro. once in a while you can go ... more for the location than for other. even if I personally think I don't come back. ah. I forgot ... to climb up to the top floor take the elevator off positioned on the right side. Those inside are very crowded and difficult to take at certain times."

"We visited the Curious Eatery for the first time last Friday and it definitely won't be our last! The menu offers unique options for all tastes, with generous portion sizes and beautifully presented dishes. We opted for dishes with African influences and were impressed. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing a warm welcome and ensuring we had a great evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Curious Eatery and look forward to returning."

"Cowarth Park Afternoon Tea is fairly good but not so special as to know why it won the Best Award this year. The food was fresh and the tea good but I did not enjoy the fancy bread for the sandwiches and the scones looked very processed and left a bit of an after taste and the quince jam does not really suit scones as far as I am concerned. A scone to me should be of a round shape but it does not need to be perfect as these seemed to attempt to be, almost cylindrical. A fruit scone also should have fruit within it and not just a coupel of raisins on the side. The cakes were a little too sweet as well and, whilst it is the way with this type of meal and it was carried out very well, I prefer to pour my own tea exactly when I want it. Overall I have rated as 4 because it was nice enough but nothing extra special that I expected with the top award."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"toilet was terrible because the door frame remained hanging in the cabin so that the door could not close also there was water on the floor. when I ordered the food, I found that what I wanted to order was not on camp, so I found something else that looked nice (the beetroot and became burger) I ordered this and found that the brot was not vegan so that I ordered the burger and some pages. the food took a long time until it came when I enjoyed it. when the bill came, I paid almost 10 pounds extra because they got the price wrong."
