"What a beautiful Japanese culinary experience! I started with edamame, spinach sesame, chicken gyoza, Japanese omelette, and inari, all of which were perfect and delicious. The spicy salmon, tuna fish avocado, and shrimp tempura were also excellent. I couldn't pick a favorite because everything was so tasty with fresh seafood. Service was quick and attentive. For my main course, I had chicken katsu with rice and teriyaki chicken donburi. The katsu was perfectly fried and one of my favorites, while the donburi brought me the authentic flavors of Japan. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great food and hospitality. I will definitely be visiting again!"

"We have visited Robatary on many occasions and it’s never provided us with anything other than a great experience. The staff are really friendly and are always on hand to assist you. The menu offers a wide range of both small plates as well as larger main meals. On our most recent visit, we ordered; (small plates) duck pancakes, duck fried gyozas, (large plates) katsu chicken curry and crispy chilli beef. The duck pancakes came with a hoisin dipping sauce and were really flavoursome. With the gyozas, you actually get a choice of whether you want them deep fried or steamed and a choice of two different dipping sauces as well. We opted for deep fried with the miso sauce- I would highly recommend. The main dishes were also really tasty and well presented, the portions are huge as well! The only slight complaint I have is that the egg fried rice that the crispy chilli beef comes with, was a little too goopy on this visit, another minute or so and it would’ve been perfect. Other than that though, I really can’t complain and on top of that, they also have 25% off the whole menu between 5PM-7PM as part of their early bird special! This restaurant is well worth a visit, we will definitely be returning again soon."

"Went for dinner before going to a show at the O2. We were running late for our booking due to tube delays, but when we arrived the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We both had steak which was excellent. Would definitely go back again. Service was exceptional."

"We chose to dine in, it had seating but it's predominantly a take-away service so there were three tables to choose from. The service was quick and polite, with food being freshly made. We arrived not long after Umami opened, so the staff serving made sure the table we at was wiped down and clean for us. The food was said to be out roughly 15 minutes from ordering but it came out quicker than that. My sister ordered teriyaki tofu bento with duck oishi steamed buns (eyes bigger than her belly! Whilst I had tempura aubergine with vegetable gyoza. My sister enjoyed the bento buns, flavouring was lovely, generous amount of everything! She almost fell in love with the buns after one bite and her inner gollum came out. The tempura was very hot, but light enough to not feel stuffed as was the gyoza, pleasant and definitely able to enjoy everything. "Very good pan con tomate. The pulpo and ibérico pork were excellent. Prawns and tortilla were ok, nothing special. The wine selection gets pricey pretty quickly, but many choices by the glass. The bread is dry and the basque cheesecake is dense and also a bit dry. Pretty loud inside, so not the nicest."

"Nice size and cheerful, relaxed atmosphere. Just pretty pricey for what it is, especially if you're on a student budget. Friendly service, despite the slightly weird lack of water jugs you'll be given a glass of water which is then refilled randomly. Food was nice and there is a good range of choice (including for veggies), but the pricing is just too high. Especially considering the place's proximity to city centre and therefore so many colleges and student accommodations, there should at least be student discount. We were charged around £9 for a very small dish of around 5 pieces of chilli squid, with a tiny dish of sauce that barely lasted. Soups are really yummy but, again, too expensive. The cheapest one is wonton and is around £13, for which i was expecting a portion far bigger than the medium bowl I got. Overall: nice, cheery experience, but the bill was over £50 for two people without drinks."

"Wonderful food as always, with finest ingredients immaculately prepared and served by Jenice and the team. Japanese is never cheap but at least with Suhinoen you can taste the quality and value. Would and regularly do recommend for lunch or dinner and no one is ever disappointed and it usually becomes a favourite of theirs too. There is bar code ordering (very Japanese) but just have a word when you get there as you can still just order from the waiting staff."

"I had a fantastic time at Wagamama South King Street. I have some food allergies, but the supervisor that day was extremely attentive and made sure to confirm my order with the kitchen. "I like yo sushi as a brand. the concept and the anesthetic of the place really appeals to me, and eating is always a good standard. this is as good as any other of the chain. never was in a storehouse, but the quality of food and service was not for this. They always risk a bit more than they intended at a yo sushi. on the transport belt there is so much offer that is passed on before them that it is difficult to resist. also, keeping a trace of their register card with their content, the Bowl system can be a bit tricky. but I say that very well, and they always do here, and they no longer sent the 25 pounds. a good place to stop after a business for a quick eating."

"we stumbled on a rainy Sunday afternoon over the bones of daddies and I will be back to any case. in a newly renovated corner has bone daddies a new take on a traditional Japanese restaraunt. the service was timely and consistent, but the most important factor that the ramen delivered was exactly what we hoped. perfectly boiled eggs, fresh pasta and the possibility of pork or chicken bones with a lot of drinks to accompany their trembling of choice. the only limiting factor is the price that has put us back a bit, which forces us to return only once in a past and warn us to order side. one of the best options for a meal in shoreditch!"
