"A few weeks ago, I had a quick look and noticed one dish I was excited to try was sold out due to a busy lunch service. While I appreciate restaurants that focus on reducing food waste, I was a bit disappointed that it wasn’t available. However, what we did order—dim sum and a fresh roll—was quite good. The food tasted fantastic, and it was clear that the young staff really know how to prepare tasty dishes. Still, it felt evident that this is primarily a lunch spot. The lack of alcoholic beverages limited their drink selection, and without any substantial dinner options, the experience was somewhat underwhelming for an evening meal. I might return for lunch one day, but I’ll likely pass on dinner until they revamp the menu."

"My companions and I had a delightful plate of gyoza at a tranquil restaurant on a Sunday evening. The service was prompt and efficient. We appreciated the simple ordering system using tickboxes on a form, although we may have caused some confusion among the staff when we decided to add an additional dish (the mouthwatering chicken katsu curry) later in the meal."

"Attractive decor and smart vibes, and also pretty good service. I was lured by the free Prosecco offered on joining Prezzo, but all in all the food didn’t blow my mind. The menu was very varied and interesting, so I decided the goat’s cheese bruschetta and olives to start. The former was piping hot and tasty but too small. The latter were dry, shrivelled and overall off the mark. My main, the Tuscan sauce with lentil, looked appetising but had no wow factor: those sausages could have come from any ordinary supermarket, but I expected them to be tender and flavoursome. I really feel this is a point for improvement. The house white was also insipid. I would imagine the pizza here is good given the classic Italian pizza oven that is used, but I wanted to try something more off piste here and was unfortunately not particularly taken. Perhaps the kitchen was having a bad day?"

"This cozy restaurant offers tasty dishes made with fresh ingredients. The bibimbap, topped with a fried egg, was filled with delicious and crunchy vegetables and kimchi. Everything was prepared right in front of us. The quality of the food was excellent and well worth the price. The dishes were flavorful, delicious, and fresh."

"Very disappointed. Booked a table for two for a Birthday breakfast. Service slow. Food was ok coffee cold. Our plates were swiftly removed as soon as we had eaten by staff lacking in basic manners. We were never asked if everything was ok with our meal or if we would like to order anything else. Then despite not asking for the bill it was slapped down on the table and we were told they needed our table immediately. Very rude! We felt very uncomfortable and were glad to leave. I will never return and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Visited The Broughton on Sunday and tried their Sunday roast along with the focaccia to start which were both enjoyable. The roast was enjoyable, with the carrots and Yorkshire pudding being the standout elements on the plate. I also ordered the cauliflower cheese, though I found it had more roux than actual cheese which was a bit disappointing but overall a decent roast. A special mention to Dean for his exceptional service, and kudos to the rest of the staff for being so welcoming and pleasant."

"Su Sushi is a great restaurant that recently had a slight increase in prices, but they are still better than any other Ramen/Sushi place. Whenever my friend and I go there, someone always greets us with a friendly hello or a few nice words, as we are regulars. It's nice that sometimes it's just us, as we prefer a quieter dining experience. The closing times are convenient for us, as we can grab a bite to eat after being on the buses all day. I recommend going on an empty stomach when ordering the ramen, as the portions are large but delicious. My favorite dish is the chicken katsu ramen, while my friend enjoys the black belt. The Tokyo roll or rainbow roll are excellent choices for sushi. The menu offers a good selection of dishes that are easy to read. The only downside is that they only accept cash, so we have to make sure we have enough money before heading in."

"Dim sum lovely had a couple of prawn versions, though extremely hot so let them cool down a bit staff should warn customers. Tom yum soups very disappointing we had the salmon one and the prawn one. In both cases the salmon and prawn had not be seared, seasoned nor marinated, so they were just plonked in the soup plain boiled, very bland. The soup base was OK but definitely not an authentic Thai taste. Massive dining hall we were the only ones in there on a weekend."

"I went into this cafe, I didn’t read the sign saying vegan as we were in a rush and dying for some coffee after a bike ride. The initial welcoming was nice and the man at the till asked if oat milk would be okay....Like I said I didn’t realise it was vegan so I asked for ‘normal milk’. To which I got some lady on a table rudely say to me ‘it’s cow juice’ not normal milk, to which the staff all joined in. I wasn’t there to get a judgement of my life choices. I immediately felt uncomfortable and left. On my way out, I’m assuming the lady on the table was a regular said ‘you’d think they sell breast milk to huh’. I couldn’t believe my ears. I know people have strong feelings about the vegan lifestyle but I made a mistake going in this coffee shop. To all NORMAL MILK DRINKERS, you’ll be harassed by vegan activists in here, would avoid at all cost! I’d of be up for trying an oat milk latè, if the atmosphere wasn’t so appalling. Considering you are in a part of the world where farming has been a big part of history and culture, you deserve the reputation that people give you as being ‘vegan’. Up tight and just rude."

"Haven’t been here in over a year until today but wasn’t impressed this time around. Whilst service is polite and they do attend to you, the place does feel even less authentic now than before. Japanese language gets you nowhere which detracts from the overall experience. This is more of an asian fusion place tbh. Secondly (and perhaps most importantly) the food was extremely oily today which is really unhealthy (not that Tonkotsu Ramen is a health dish). But today the soup was literally swimming in a sea of oil (see pic below). Please take with this as this the absolute basic of any so-called “Japanese”."

"It’s a lovely place but a few things about the food , both of our food , the roast potatoes were hard inside could have been boiled longer evoke roasting and the veg could have been done longer . Dessert lemon tart the pastry was brown over baked . We will give it one more try as this may nave been a one off , if no better we won’t be coming again as were there for the food ."

"I came with friends on Friday. The service wasn’t great, took ages to get served, its expensive and my ramen was far too spicy to enjoy. I had the vegan bun ramen type dish. I love spice and I can tolerate hot dishes but this made you cough with every mouthful, it was inedible. It would be lovely but just mellow down on the spice and people would enjoy it more. It took me nearly two hours to eat half a bowl of soup. I wanted to tell them during the meal but it took so long to get anyone’s attention I just thought I’d mention it at the end. I mentioned it at the end but the waitress kind of laughed it off not sure she heard/ understood what I said. The starters we had, were delicious though Also, there was a misunderstanding when I ordered just one glass of white wine, it seemed to cause a lot of confusion. Initially there was no wine, then they thought I wanted rose then it appeared that I wanted the bottle. Nope, just one glass, they were trying their best. It took three members of staff helping. I understand service is hard I’m always kind to staff as i have been a waitress before but after all that fuss the wine came and it was warm. It has great potential, I just wish I could have enjoyed my meal."

"Excellent food, unfortunately very loud background music which significantly disrupted our conversation at the table and despite asking, was only slightly lowered. Additionally, predominantly only English was spoken, which is familiar to us, but in a restaurant in Germany at this price point, we would expect something different."

"five youngs is a fantastic place to eat while it can be expensive, eating is worth definitiw, by far and away miles better then mcdonald’s. the personal is super helpful and always ensures that the place looks clean, the staff who prepare the food, make sure that the gloves are changed regularly and if necessary. the food was prepared very quickly and packed in the typical five youngs fashion, burger in foil. the portions of the chips are huge, the pocket fill!"

"We order from the canton Wiwo at least once a month and have always found the food delicious and the staff friendly. We decided to try the City Centre shop last week what a mistake that was! Our food took over 2 hours to arrive but with it being a Friday night we let that slide. While we were waiting a Adriana phoned and I quote said ‘You wanted chilli chips, no’ after some questioning we realised that a sleeping sounding Adriana was trying to tell us that they had run out of chips. She did however offer to change the order to rice and said she would add a bottle of coke due to us paying extra for the chips, we agreed that this was fine and thanked her for the heads up. When the food arrived (without the promised drink) it was stone cold but we were so hungry by then we tucked straight in. The Katsu chicken was burnt and the rice was gooey and over cooked, both totally inedible. Our saving grace was the fact that we ordered satay chicken scewers as sides. We opened the chicken and after dipping one into the sauce my partner stopped me from eating it. He had realised that they had replaced the peanut sauce with a pot of mayonnaise instead (I’m not allowed to eat mayo due to a health condition). This was alarming so we phoned the shop straight away to discuss all issues above. The still sleepy Adriana admitted to adding Mayo instead of the usual peanut sauce because they had run out. I explained that this was disappointing as she had already phoned us to say they didn’t have any chips and asked why she hadn’t mentioned this so we could alter our order, to which she replied ‘don’t know’. We again mentioned all of our other issues including the fact that the food was totally inedible and Adriana asked ‘What do you want me to do?’ I suggested a refund as they were unable to fulfil the order we had placed. She agreed and said she would pass our details onto her manager. I asked when we would receive the refund and she said up to 5 working days. Skip to today (5 working days later). I call to ask about our refund only to be greeted by the rudest girl I have ever had the displeasure of talking to. She told me I’d have to call back to talk to that specific girl at a time that was inconvenient to me. I explained that my issue was with the company rather than a specific member of staff so I just wanted an update on the refund. She refused to listen to my request and talked over me. I asked her name and she refused to give it to me so I asked for her managers contact details which she also refused to give to me. Then she had the audacity to say ‘you’re not getting your refund so what are you going to do about it?’ And put the phone down! Although it was inconvenient I later called the store again and thankfully the cal was answered by Adriana. I explained I was calling about the refund that she had promised the previous week and she handed the phone to yet another college. This girl said that she had been filled in and that they were going to refund £5 of the order. I obviously voiced that this was unacceptable as the whole order was inedible. She asked why I hadn’t sent it back to be replaced. I explained that we had already waited 2 hours for our cold order, it had already come back wrong and also that this wasn’t given to me as an option. We were simply asked, what do you want me to do about it? The girl said sorry but my manager has spoken to the chef and we can only give you £5 back. End of story basically, absolutely shocking!"

"First time visiting and what a delight this place was, super helpful and friendly waitress. The food was beautiful I have eaten all over Asia and the flavours really did make me feel like I was back there. Everything was cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend the hot pots or slow cooked lamb coconut curry, the lamb was of good quality and cooked to perfection. I will definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu."

"In summary, Yamagoya offers a delicious bowl of ramen at a reasonable price in a cool and relaxed environment perfect for a quick lunch. The decor captures the vibe of a cozy local ramen shop with wooden and neutral tones. The self-serving canteen style with limited table service is not a downside, as it adds to the casual atmosphere of the restaurant. Most bowls are priced under £10, making it a great value for the generous portions. The chicken ramen was delicious with a flavorful broth and well-prepared toppings. While the presentation may not have been perfect, the taste more than made up for it. Overall, Yamagoya is a solid choice for a satisfying and affordable ramen meal in London."

"here is the favorite of my family! we've been a few times there. eating is delicious and every time we have tried something else than the menu and it was amazing we were never disappointed. my personal favourite dish is my yoshi special rice curry. the personal is friendly and attentive. everything is freshly boiled, portions are decent and great worth for money. They take into account all allergies or diet requirements, as my sohn heavy nut allergy suffers, which we are always careful. definitiw my yoshi noodle house recommend to everyone!"

"We asked if they could do a vegan pizza, but was informed by the front-of-house waitress they could do, if we didn’t order the cheese. They didn’t have any vegan pizzas on the menu; they were unwilling to do one; and the waitress was unwilling to check with the chef.
