"On July 25th, 2017, my wife, a friend, and I visited Hanoi Pho on Green Lane for the first time. Our initial impression was that the restaurant was clean, bright, and welcoming."

"here the visit and the meal really enjoyed. very friendly staff best ever expresso martini Vietnamese style I had. we enjoyed the appetizers chicken olipops and beef belgium. In general, the chicken-cocooks curry and lemongrass bark noodles were. simply enjoyed while the meal before the show would certainly be busy again. Thank you."

"one night in the Albert Hall we wanted to have a concert and had to eat early before we left. we booked a table for 5.30 and when we arrived there were already several tables with people who were already fed. the service was fast and friendly. eating was plentiful and very good. all the appetizers were well presented and delicious. the goat cheese, the zichorie and the orange salad were good and the zichorie extremely crisp and fresh. the suppe was good as the pate. burger are huge! lammsteak on the menu set massiw. and the muscheln are enormous! all in all a very good meal at a very reasonable price. I would certainly come back and would definitely return."

"This restaurant had high marks but was a waste of time and money. We had made a booking two weeks prior and upon arrival our seating was next to the door on a chilly night and a holiday tree blinking my daughter into a migraine, meanwhile a holiday party is allowed to dominate the restaurant with their loud drunken outbursts and party games despite the other dining patrons trying to enjoy their meals or conversation. Absolutely rude and unprofessional on both parts. We were uncomfortable and disappointed in so many ways. I can’t imagine they have professional practices on a ‘normal’ day. Go else ware. The food wasn’t even mediocre. Disappointed."

"Apparently the Newcastle Arms, the previous name of this pub (which is still prominently carved in stone on its facade you 're not in the wrong place) was a bit of a rough lager focused venue which serves to underline what a great offering they now have. Lots of cask lines I think they had three stouts on including an espresso martini one which was really excellent. Also I tried a 'chai der ' a spicy cider that was a real treat so cool to try something totally different that I 've never seen anywhere else. Music was loud on a Friday night but didn 't rule out conversation and we also got a space to seat (there is an upstairs too). It 's great if you want somewhere with a little more energy. My only criticism was the lack of a helpful blackboard or other sign on the wall giving basic info about the beers so helpful to know name/brewery/style/alcohol content/price when there 's a long line of pumps that will inevitably be at least partially blocked by other punters."

"We visited for a second time as our first was fabulous. Unfortunately the food was not as good this time. My partner ordered the flat iron steak with chips, the steak was ok but the chips were bog standard manufactured whereas before were lovely chunky triple cooked hand cut. My friend and I had the lamb curry which was so salty and the rice was very dry. There was quite a gap between first and main courses so I asked if there was a problem to be told they were just busy. We were however offered a half pint of beer each which I thought was acceptable. It's a shame as we recommended it to our friends who we went with. The pub itself is lovely with great outside space and a terrace. I would drink there as they have a great range of beers but not sure if I would eat again"
