"We had a reservation for 7 PM, but upon our arrival, we were informed that we needed to leave by 8 PM because we had children under 18 with us. This restriction was not communicated to us when we made the reservation. We settled in and thought we could make it work, but when we tried to use the online ordering system, we discovered that the steak was unavailable, and we couldn’t remove it from our order. As we attempted to correct this, the clock was ticking, and by 7:15 PM, we realized we wouldn’t have enough time to enjoy our evening. This led us to leave and try to find another place to eat, which proved to be quite difficult given the current circumstances. In the future, they should clearly communicate any time restrictions for families with children when booking online. I will not be making another reservation here."

"Unfortunately, my experience at the Slug and Lettuce was disappointing. The service was virtually nonexistent, and the quality of the food was very subpar. Our meals took a long time to be served, and we had to request both glasses and cutlery. Overall, it was quite appalling. Since we had to pay the full amount, including the service charge, before any food was delivered, there seems to be little motivation for the staff to uphold even basic standards. I would recommend opting for a fast food restaurant where you don't have expectations for service—it would be a better choice! This experience felt like a rip-off."

"the drinks were very tasty and served quickly. the staff was very friendly and speechful and made a positive change. we ordered the pasta and it came back in the middle uncooked/red, but they were very apologetic and got us 2 cocktail mixes free while it was replaced! very satisfied with the customer service! but must say when the pasta came back, even boiled, it was not very good. would advise to avoid this dish, anything else we ordered, but was quite good! and check her portion at price ratio on her clobig chips"

"When arriving there is nowhere to say you need to go upstairs for your booking. There were no staff to be seen we just chanced it going upstairs after standing waiting to find someone for 10 minutes. We then waited over an hour for food yet everyone who came in after us we’re served within 20 minutes and even left.. When we asked about where the food was we were asked what we ordered so we said a platter about and 10 minutes later we were bought the wrong one. When I explained this they asked if I had a receipt which I didn’t just the notification on my Apple Pay as they didn’t give me one. I was asked to go to the bar to explain the situation to the person I ordered with who printed the receipt to prove I’d ordered. I had to explain the situation about 5 times to another staff member then the chef and finally the manager. No one actually offered a solution I was just told the kitchen never received the order so I asked can we have the right thing so they said yes yet nothing else was to be offered by them so I said we’ve waited over an hour we’re starving, going to be late is there nothing else you can do they agreed to a drink each but it was awkward to even have had to asked."

"We were not impressed by Missoula and were actually disappointed as they were recommended to us. We visited on the hottest day of the year so far and their air conditioning was just not up to scratch. We also couldnt have sat outside if we wanted to because they had no umbrellas for shade and the outside area was not presented well. We were seated inside, upstairs at the back as they were trying to find the coolest place they could but really this was just dark, lacked ambience and was still too warm. We had an early table booked as we had been to a matinee at the theatre at when we arrived the restaurant was pretty much empty yet they said we needed to sit at the bar as he wasnt sure if the waitress was back from her break I don't need to know this, just poor service! We then ordered a drink and when our table was ready no one offered to help carry our drinks upstairs. The food was ok, nothing special and one of the dishes we ordered was no described correctly on the menu and was actually prawns on bread. The service during the meal was basic with lots of reaching over people to serve dishes, a not very friendly server and no attention or consideration. The bathrooms were absolutely boiling, almost sauna like they really should have thought ahead and got fans or something, it was awful. Overall a very average experience."
