"I recently visited the **** and Salat Winchester, and it was an incredible experience. The staff was outstanding, and the food was fantastic. They went above and beyond to accommodate me and my family, and I can't recommend this place enough. Not only was the service quick, but the food was also delicious, and the drink selection was impressive. This is something that many pubs are missing these days. It shows that while anyone can open a pub, it takes great management and dedicated staff to truly run a great establishment. Thank you once again!"

Visited just after 4pm on a Thursday quite quiet so very fast service! Quinoa chilli is absolutely gorgeous, and has quite a few other vegetarian options too. Very pretty decorations inside too good for a date!

I had a wonderful experience at Slug. I attended the Primitive Brunch for a birthday celebration, and the waitstaff was very attentive. Sitting on the top floor noticeably improved the service, as the two bars are separate and don’t overlap in customers.

It's ok for a food snack. Good value, great friendly staff. I wouldn't have too high an expectation on the food but then it is fine for the price you pay. The actual pub itself is really good, clean and the ambience is fine. Toilets are clean also and it's a quick easy place to grab bite to eat. View menu

In a prime location in Winchester it should be better. Staff are unhappy, toilets disgusting and not checked since 20, dishes and glasses all over the bar and they ran out of salad leaves at 1.30pm on a bank holiday. It’s in need of a massive refurbishment. Not the standard of other branches at all.

The food was outstanding, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the steak, which tasted like a filet and was cooked to perfection at medium. The drink selection was impressive, prices were very reasonable, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. It's a lovely spot for a bite to eat while exploring Winchester.
