"This was our first visit to Sherwoods and we loved it. We went for the carvery and enjoyed it. We did not have to wait long to be served and there was a good choice of meats. The food was all fresh and hot. The staff were friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to going back and trying their main menu. Have already recommened the restaurant to family and friends. Had a lovely family meal on Sunday and was really pleased with the venue, food and service. Food was scrummy, lots of choice and the chef isn't stingy on the meat servings! Will definitely come again.

The food was absolutely incredible, and the portion sizes for the meat were very generous. The soup was delightful as well. I had two courses for under ten pounds, and the staff were lovely. I will definitely be returning!

We went today, great value £9.99 for a two course Carvery, home made tomato soup (really nice) and every meat you would have at home on a Sunday dinner Turkey, Pork, Lamb, Beef and even fish.....good selection of veg, Yorkshire pudding and a choice of gravy. Don't miss this, get yourselves down for a treat!!

For dessert, we decided to share a deconstructed cheesecake, which was absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend this place, especially considering the great value of £9.95 for two courses, including the soup and carvery. The restaurant itself is stunning, with a beautiful view overlooking the football pitch. They also have a wide selection of beers, wines, and champagne.
