"We tried this for the first time. Is an improvement on our previous regular eatery. A real high point was the prompt delivery. The food arrived in good time. Some of the dishes were outstanding and would quality this review as 3.5. The char Siu pork with beans sprouts was delicious well cooked, same for the chicken in Szechuan sauce, the seafood Singapore fried noodles was disappointing not enough seafood, just 1 scallop and a couple of pieces of very rubbery squid. The squid starters was ok but served like calamari without enough of the promised garlic and chilli, the prawn starter was ok but for the price we expected king prawns. The starter portions feel mean even allowing for the fact that they’re starters. The prawn fried rice was ok but could benefit from a touch more seasoning. The spareribs were beautifully cooked but too salty. Overall we enjoyed some of the food but due to some of the issues the score is not as high as it could be. We’ll try again but will only persist if the good outweighs the bad."

"The restaurant has delicious food and friendly staff. We first tried it a year ago when our usual Friday night spot was closed, and we haven't returned to our old place since. We always order from Wok Express through Deliveroo. The staff is always friendly and the food is consistently delicious. Be sure to try the gold lucky cookies when they are available, they are the best I've ever had. Not only are the messages sweet, but they taste amazing too!"

"i would really advise strongly against using the services of this restaurant .ive used them three times and never again. im an experienced waiter of many years standing and have never and would never give such bad service to a customer or i wouldnt have a job.my first time ordering a received a call after some time asking to come down to a car to pick up my food.i informed the driver to ring my bell(i live in a house)and bring my food to me.he then buzzed my bell and came up the stairs huffing and puffing as if i was putting him out.he obviously doesn't understand what delivery means.he was so miserable i was really worried that my food could have been maliciously interfered with.i went through the same experience twice more although i always tipped him.i went to order again and was told we dont deliver to you anymore .use uber eats and the phone was dropped twice on me.this is so shocking im enraged and words fail me that this kind of attitude happens in the uk.if your driver doesent want to deliver get on that does want to.these points have already been covered in many other reviews,very negative experience and just generally very unpleasant.thank god there many other restaurants in the area ,so i dont have to give support to such unprofessional outfits"

Absolutely filthy I strongly avoid and recommend no body eat here I wouldn’t even feed this food to a homeless person it would just be bang out of order to do so. "We were seated by the window which was lovely and seen to within minutes but my only remark would be it was very rushed so you never had time to enjoy every course before the next one was out infront of you. "I always got my Chinese meal from here for years but over the last 16 months there is constantly something missing so you have to go back down to collect it. The food is cold on delivery. This recent order had pancakes missing for a half a duck on a order of 60 pound that hardly feed 2 adults and 2 children and we are not big eaters. Portions have become extremely small. I called to collect the pancakes and they treated me as if I was making it up. Got them home and there was SIX pancakes for half a duck. I will be finding another Chinese takeaway to order from as I have given them chance after chance. Very poor indeed and not worth the money."

"We ordered our food at 18:30 direct from their website. It was due to be delivered at 19:30. At 19:50 I called chasing my order as it still wasn’t even showing as being enroute. They asked to call me back, which they did 10 mins later. They advised the food would be another 15 mins. I politely pointed out that will have meant it was 45 mins late and will be delivered 1 hour and 45 mins after I ordered it. The gentlemen was quite aggressive in his verbal tone and attitude. He repeatedly spoke over me too. I decided it was best just to call the telephone call to an end. The service was pretty appalling which is a shame because the food itself was good. However I’m personally not willing to order from them again, to be left waiting for an hour and 45 mins for the food, with no proactive warning or apology, and then receive the level of aggression I received."
