"The General Manager was very accommodating and took the initiative when it took us 30 minutes to be served our drinks. Unfortunately, the waiter seemed focused on only a few tables and didn't take our order in a timely manner. The food was decent; I wanted steak but it was out (which I understand given the lockdown the next day). Overall, the venue had a nice atmosphere and vibe."

"since over 15 years sophies steakhouse visited and since the summer it was my first time. I went past the last weeks often to visit during the tireless veganuary, so I jumped on the opportunity to have a relaxed dinner there...with a friend on a Tuesday night. the dinner itself was the usual quality ingredients simple things made very good and fair value for the location as expected. I was disappointed, however, that I was at the reception of the restaurant for approx. 5 minutes were allowed to stand (besides a board that has asked customers to wait) where I was ignored, although I was passed on several times by the employees without gruß or recognition. it seems quite unnecessary that customers (also with reservations) on this wise on a Tuesday night around 19:30 clock, if there is a bar area on the immediate left side of the at the beginning that I quite comfortable my time in, until someone around me to put around me and safe enough, a small waiting snake formed behind us through the time we finally sit, although there is a series of open tables. my words very carefully to choose, I told the waiter (the manager) when he put us that as “a courteous world of advice” when they let customers wait at the entrance, they should be more of an effort to welcome them immediately, but this seemed to be taken as a personal affront and I was accused that it was quite hysterical, “he was being back in the moment when I met him during this already negotiated exchange we were asked twice (at this point) if we wanted to proceed with our booking by the waiter who obviously had decided that he would rather leave the partially empty restaurant. Despite every attempt to go, I didn't want my friend embarrassing, who visited the restaurant more regularly from late, so we tried to make the best of an otherwise insignificant dinner. within spores of playing the sacrifice, the waiter could explain that he was very stressed, as they were particularly short workers (the experience of my friend also from a previous visit) and fair to him seemed to be that he had a large area on his own. Of course, I have addressed any sympathy, and it is a management problem that must be solved especially for that of human, but why not just with an excuse or even only a recognition of feedback received, instead of expressing themselves and making absurd accusations if it receives polite and constructive feedback? would the device rather not mention a bad customer experience and decide to simply go into reasonable feedback? to his credit, the rest of the service was professional, but it is hard to do such a basic misunderstanding of the customer service in a time when they think restaurants should do everything in their power to customers again welcome after the break-up of the last 18 months. the whole episode is pretty bad at sophies I'm sorry to say and I won't be back in a hurry."

"It is a rare and fleeting moment when you discover something that you suddenly cannot live without. For me, that moment was halloumi. Yes, it was in this small essay that my world was completely changed. And what else have I been missing out on? This moment was sparked by a roasted Mediterranean sandwich: grilled halloumi cheese, avocado, tomato, and fresh pesto. The flavors were truly unforgettable."

"We always enjoy a visit to Zucca, tho it's best to avoid theatre matinee days, when it can get very hectic. The food is good, service pleasant and helpful and it is particular good value with the Groupon voucher. The Affogato is the best."

"bad service and eat ever. not a good menu for vegetarian and eating was not on standard. because it was so terrible, I thought the dessert would make sure that even supermarkets sell better desserts. waited 20 minutes only for the bill. instead of going anywhere and spending money, the place is amazing, amazingly outsight."

"We went as a group of 4, and we all said Food was ok, and reasonable enough prices, but what we found disappointing was that they had no onion loaf left when we tried to order it with out main courses. Would I recommend it, yes if you like ribs they were good, but if you remember the original rib shack restaurant in Knightsbridge and are hoping this is going to be similar, unfortunately you will be disappointed !"

"This was our first visit here and wont be our last, we were surprised on how busy it was for a Tuesday evening, We were shown to our table by our server mollie, she was extremely helpful and polite, explained what they had to offer then left us to peruse the menu We were greeted by another server Helen who again was very polite, helpful and curtious, she took our drinks order and mollie returned promptly with them, we ordered our food, 1x The dirty one and 1x The dirty bird, we asked for the BBQ sauce separate as I'm a type 1 she again made a note of this which I thought was very professional.....the salad (included with a main course (help yourself was great and tasty. Our food was served after about a 10 minute wait, hot, fresh, and tasted great the sauce was on the side in a small pot as asked for ... PERFECT !!!! This was our first visit, mollie and Helen are a credit to establishment and we cannot thank them enough for a great first visit..... Well Done and keep up the good work ..x Alan and Danielle"

"This was our first Christmas dinner out as a family so we did not know what to expect. We have been to the Packe Arms many times and have always been impressed. Christmas Day was no exception. Staff were lovely, food was brilliant and the atmosphere was very festive. We particularly loved that there was a busy atmosphere but that the pub had not been packed to the max. The flow of families was very well managed, it wasn't too crowded and you weren't rushed off your table either, but there were enough people about to feel like tounwere sharing the daybwith others. We were served quickly but leisurely and not once we're we made to feel an inconvenience or a bother. Staff seemed to be happy working and we're all in good spirits too Kid-friendliness: Our children have always been welcomed and accommodated here Price per person: £80–90 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot"

"my family and I are regular visitors of Buenasado, and every single time we have had the most incredible experience. Dane is a delight, really the best waiting I have ever experienced, he is attentive, professional and incredibly friendly. Aside from the beautiful steaks, it really is the experience that Dane gives us that makes it all that more worth while. I hope to keep visiting for a while yet."

"Hunters chicken ordered, but when it arrived only 3 minutes later !!! , it was dry and tasteless. Waitress said they would inform the chef ?? , there was no feedback! Not recommended at all. Edit: I can't be held responsible if your server didn't tell your chef. I said the chicken was dry and tasteless, not the pulled pork. If the chicken was already precooked, then kept warm, it will invariably dry out. The description of the dish on the menu also said smothered in cheese, but you must have a different meaning to smothered than I do."

"I went for dinner and after checking TripAdvisor/ opentable reviews. Unfortunately it doesn’t tell the true story We paid £200 for 2 pax, the restaurant is old and uncomfortable, the plastic menu with pictures already gives you the feeling of the terrible experience ahead. We requested the Gavi, but it was a cheap Gavi that we get for £3.00 in Tesco. We came here for the oysters but we were told they were out of them, but surprisingly when the platter came they had oyster, so their “ speciality “ as they said is oysters gratin, being oysters with melted cheese on top, definitely worst combination ever, why would you do that. We ask for the prawns and scallops for starters, both overcooked, bland and flavourless. Mains, we asked one of their platter with lobster/ prawns/ seafood and chips who came soggy in the bottom and no seasoning. We also asked for the octopus, it came raw, we asked to be cooked properly and they brought it back burned to a crisp. We did not ask for anything else, left most of it there. All was frozen, bland and tasteless. Service was not existence and the few interactions we had it was from waiters who really did not want to be hospitable to anyone. Awful experience, the reviews are definitely fake. DO NOT GO"

"filz the cocktails and drinks series were good and worth for money starters flatbreads were nice and fast to use sad, the sirloin steaks (the whole reason for going) were not good cuts of meat and very fat staff apologized, but nothing was changed. they were cooked on request and the sauce, veg were nice, but it was the cut of the flesh itself, that was very bad for sirloin would not go back from this ground"

"beautiful steak, drinks are expensive, waiting workers appear new, half clearing table before everyone was finished. just hope that the service standard from our first visit does not slip because if you want to calculate their prices, then you would also like a good service."

"We had a fantastic dinner here on Saturday night! The atmosphere really transported us to Belgium. The food was both delicious and generous in portions. Be sure to save space for the waffles afterward! They offer an excellent beer selection, with many fruity options for those who prefer sweeter drinks. While the drinks are a bit pricey, the experience is definitely worth it. Plus, it's dog-friendly, which is a nice bonus! Meal type: Dinner."

"I was aimlessly wandering around and came upon this gem in a neighborhood lined with pretty shops and gorgeous homes. It seems to be frequented by local residents, which was exactly what I was looking for, and it has a little shop that sells fruits, vegetables, pasta, olive oils, etc. I ordered Spaghetti Bolognese, which was perfectly cooked, hot and topped with just the right amount of parmesan. The meat sauce has to be the recipe from someone's little, old nonna. It was out of this world. I couldn't finish it so I took the leftovers to go along with a scrumptious piece of strawberry cheesecake and a bag filled with oil, vinegar, chips and sweets! Thank you, James I wish I knew how to spell your real name!!"

"The evening started with a friendly, warm welcome. We were struggling to find a decent restaurant in the area and were recommended the Corner House. We had simple requirements, firstly when we book a table we expect it to be a table for the evening, there is no quality in dining in an establishment with two sittings. We never felt rushed. Secondly I like the service and the quality of foods to appear effortless, which it did. Clearly a tremendous amount of effort went into every detail from the foods, side salad, homemade sauces and deserts. Attention to detail was obvious and the service was perfect, just the correct amount of contact from the enthusiastic staff without being intrusive or overbearing. Thirdly I rate a restaurant on whether or not I could replicate the meal better, similarly or not at all. On this occasion my extra blue rib eye was one of the finest steaks I’ve ever eaten and I grew up in French fine dining. The homemade bread platter, starter, mains, deserts, coffee were all perfect. The visit was mid week and the restaurant was fairly busy. The atmosphere, ambience and surroundings enhanced a great meal. Most restaurants in the area (apart from The Marquis in Alkham Valley) are very mediocre, tedious, churning out the latest fads and boring, this wasn’t. We will definitely visit again, the staff were attentive, kind and warm."

"Something seems to have gone wrong. We have greatly enjoyed staying here before and dropping in for occasional lunches. We liked the good food and wine, and the exceptionally good service. The premises looked immaculate and smelt fresh. Back today, looking forward to a pleasant impromptu late lunch at about 1:30pm. People were eating but there were plenty of spare tables. We waited to be seated in the restaurant … and waited… and waited. After a while my wife reported to the hotel receptionists that there were similarities to the Marie Celeste. They said that someone would come. A few minutes later a barmaid arrived at the bar. We explained that we had been hoping for a lunch table but that there were no restaurant staff. She went to find them. But several minutes later she still had not returned. So we left. By that stage we had realised that things had changed at the Hotel du Vin. It no longer looks immaculate. We let the receptionists know that we had intended to have lunch, but had decided to leave. They didn’t seem bothered. This place used to have excellent management. It needs to get it back again."
