Creamy and sweet rice pudding, flavored with cinnamon and vanilla, topped with a sprinkle of nutmeg.

"The restaurant is too expensive and has too many employees. I must say that the food is of good quality. I did enjoy my burger, but when I asked for a salad, all I got was onions."

"I've been in a couple of times, and enjoyed it, but this time it fell short. the service was very slow and inattentive, it took them to the end of the meal to bring us ice and lemon for our drinks, which we ordered at the beginning of the meal and eat ourselves, while extremely generous in its portion sizes, was disappointing. the starters were good, but the main thing (we had all chickens in different iterations that were dry and uninteresting). we'll give him one because one. Maybe it was just that they were packed out on a Friday night. they gave us a loan to the bill that was estimated."

"I came to the restaurant with my partner for my anniversary. The service that we received was outstanding. We went for the set menu with seven courses. Every course was well explained by our waiter as we were not familiar with the Indian cuisine. The food was extremely tasty and our waiter was excellent. He was busy with a large party, but we didn't feel neglected. When we booked we mentioned that was our anniversary. We had a dessert with Happy Anniversary written on it! How nice it is. We asked the waiter name, Vishnu. He was so friendly and professional. We will be back very soon."

"Had an early dinner at Zorba last Friday, this was my second visit and we were extremely happy with our experience. We were feeling hungry, opted for the chicken platter and mixed meze, the food was excellent and the portions were such that we still had a good doggybag to take away. The staff were very welcoming and our server Fred was extremely helpful and made our meal feel special."

"I really enjoyed the time there until we were asked to move due to 2 members not bothering to show up and the table was given to other guests, which I didn't mind. It was cold near the door and every time it opened you could feel it. Our main waiter was really nice and took the time to provide us with what we needed but the one who moved us was slightly distant and brought me a drink with no ice and was quite slow in coming back to us. Overall I'm glad I went and I will definitely go again."

"My first and last experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I went with friends for a meal, but we were disappointed by the quality of the food. I ordered the beef short rib, which was tough and dry due to being a fatty cut. The dish lacked sauce and the vegetables were bland, though the Dauphinois potatoes were tasty. My wife ordered a rare flat iron steak, but it arrived medium rare and was tough to chew. When we brought this up to the staff, they initially claimed we should have ordered it differently, but eventually admitted the mistake. Despite this, they were unable to find a satisfactory solution, and my wife did not eat the steak. To make matters worse, when I received the bill for £200 for four people (including 1 main dish and 1.5 drinks per person), I was still charged for the uneaten steak. Reluctantly, I paid to avoid causing a scene with our guests. I was disappointed by both the food quality and the service response to our complaint, and we will not be returning. "This pub is excellent for watching sports games. Be sure to try the cheesy garlic bread and chicken strips during half time - you won't be disappointed! The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is great. There is plenty of parking available in the free parking lot. Overall, a fantastic place to dine in. Price per person is £1-10."

"a true local gem! we have come here almost a decade and eating was always consistently fantastic, and well in portions. I'd say it's one of my favorite restaurants in london. there is no possibility that some of the negative reviews here are real! We moved away from the opposite in 2018 and therefore only occasionally picked up picking up when in the opposite and recently, when I dived to gather, I met the owner briefly and it was so frightening to know he remembered us and our favourite dish was gloomy. recommended: qabuli palouw (bodied with rice cooked with roast carrots, russines, mangles and pistachios) and shirin palouw (rause with orange peel, mangles, pistachios and grated carrots. carved with grilled, boneless chicken) (the chicken is deeper marinated than anything I ever tasted elsewhere and always cooked well.) when they eat here, I recommend the mint tea while they wait. and for the desert is the Afghan rice pudding divine."

"I went here earlier in the week. Very vigilant of GF. They have a separate GF menu which is a different colour to other menus. This makes it a very relaxing and safe environment to eat. The meal was delicious. Simple dishes with a lot of flavour! I will be returning on my next trip to Belfast!"

"Me and my fiancee visited on Saturday 9th August 2014 and we absolutely loved the place. I had Lahmacun (turkish pizza) to start and it was lovely, loads of salad. My fiancee had trio of dips which she thoroughly enjoyed. For main I had Lamb Kofte Beyti which is out of this world! My partner had Kleftiko which the meat fell out the bone Delicious! They also had a live singer on the guitar who was very very good. Will definitely be returning in the near future and have already recommended to friends and family."

"Lovely Turkish restaurant located around the corner from Salisbury train station. Quite quiet on a Saturday evening, but service was nice. Staff friendly and attentive. Food was lovely- and received a bowl of pitta bread before starters, but would have loved additional bowls of bread with a variety of dips. Meals came in a good timely manner after starters and portion sizes was adequate. Lovely tender pieces of meat, halloumi was delicious. Rather expensive though, chips could not be substituted for rice. Would return but too pricey. Thankyou"

"The service at the restaurant was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, that's where the positives end. I paid £48 for three small, bland lamb cutlets. The foie gras tasted like a block of spam. The only saving grace was the delicious lobster bisque."

"No complaints about tasting menu it was good. Matching wines ok, first good, other less so. What I do not want to get to 9 with pre-booked tasting menu, table not ready, dumps up for half an hour near a very loud wedding party, normal menu handed us over when we have already chosen. A drink was offered after 10 minutes, but we didn't want an aperitif somewhere else with friends. No real excuse. It got better when we sit down."

"We had been led to believe from the website you couldn't book a table here so we just turned up on the off chance. Turns out their website was wrong and you could book. Never the less they managed to squeeze us in. I ordered the hot dog which when it arrived a was shocked to see it looked like the cheapest sausage they could have possibly found. However, it tasted absolutely amazing so don't let that put you off! We got two cocktails as they were on a 2 for £12 offer. When the bill arrived they hadn't charged us the special offer for the cocktails. That was easily rectified however."

"My 91 year old mother has been a regular customer to this carvery for several years. She particularly likes this restaurant as she visits with family, which is a real treat for her and can choose manageable portions to suit her poor appetite. As she eats less than a child’s portion, I have often asked staff if she can have a child’s portion this request is always denied by staff. It sickens me to see other customers, both adults their children piling their plates high with obscenely amounts of food, then return for even more! I find it grossly unfair that she is always charged full price, despite the fact it’s clear to see she is elderly frail. As far as I’m concerned, she’s paying to support the cost of someone else’s gluttony."

"We tried this during lockdown, popped into the grill to see what it looked like and chatted with the owner, who gave us some samples as we were talking. We ordered lentil soup, lamb doner, lamb beyti, and arranged forcollection. When we collected the food, we picked up a huge bag, which apart from the ordered items above had 3 beautiful breads, two salads, and a home cooked rice pudding and all in huge quantities!! So the food- so the lamb doner- this is a homemade doner and was full of lamb flavour, soft, juicy with crispy edges, just amazing, served with rice and vermicelli, all fabulously cooked. The lamb beyti was divine, well flavoured lamb mince wrapped in bread, and toasted over charcoal, which lent it a Smokey flavour, with charcoal grilled tomatoes, lebnah, and rice vermicelli- totally amazing flavours. Also we had a rich chilli tomato and a flavoured Labnah sauce to go with the food. The lentil soup was different to my usual experience, as I think it had added youghurt(? but was packed with flavour, and delicious, eaten with the fluffy, Turkish breads- mmmmm delicious. And finally, the man himself- really friendly, helpful and obviously an amazing chef!! All in all a totally amazing experience, one that we’ll repeat!!"

"we are masters in green lanes turkish restaurant district. we usually go to devran, antepelier or hala, but they were all very busy, so we thought we would try vadi. we got a lahmucun to take away, it tasted really good, cost only £1,50 with the extras of ugly, sauces and salat all included. we returned the next day (today 20/09/2015) and decided we would try to eat. the restaurant was empty, however, so we changed our understanding and to go. the management then claimed that huumous was not included and would be taken separately, but did not say that this would cost additional. we then went to pay for the order, they tried to calculate us extra first because we eat...more"

"This place is fantastic. The staff were all friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The distillery tour is great, and you get to taste whisky, vodka, and gin at the end. The shop has a great selection of spirits and is very well-kept. The bistro on site is a bit pricey for what you get - I found my beef sandwich to be a bit lacking for £13.50. However, the whisky tour was the highlight for me, with plenty of on-site parking and a beautiful setting. Kudos to the staff and owners for creating such a great experience. Well done!"

"They have recently changed their menu meaning items on the menu are not marked as gluten free. I visited in August 2023. I spoke to staff and one said they could do certain dishes gluten-free and no cross-contamination, another said it would be gluten-free but have some gluten in it (figure that one out! . I decided to trust the first member of staff. The food was okay but not as good as it was years back. Given the lack of staff knowledge and average food I won't be returning."
