Rich and comforting soup made with slow-roasted tomatoes, herbs, and spices, offering a deliciously warm and savory flavor.

"Some customers had a great experience, but we ended up paying full price for our visit. The atmosphere felt a bit worn out."

"I wish I could rate the service higher. Matija was outstanding, and we returned three times during our stay just to have him as our server. The food was excellent, but the service truly made the experience incredible. "

"We did receive complimentary drinks—a Diet Coke and a tea—but unfortunately, the food order also encountered issues. My friend ordered a Jerk Chicken Burger with gluten-free bread, but just before the food was nearly ready, we were informed that they had no gluten-free bread available. Thankfully, our friend was okay with having the burger without bread, as the food was served just two minutes later. If he had wanted to make a different choice, they would have had to restart the order completely. We also requested a glass of tap water that never arrived. When it was time to settle the bill, the server mentioned that she had applied a small discount to account for the missing gluten-free bread. I believe that if it weren't for that discount, we would have raised concerns about the Jerk Chicken itself, as it was not what we expected. Instead of a proper burger, it was just a few strips of chicken that resembled goujons. Lastly, when the bill arrived, she brought the card machine with her, expecting payment before we even had a chance to review the bill properly. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience."

"The crab in the canapés was the standout dish—I think we all agreed we could have happily eaten a tub of that instead of continuing with the rest of the meal! The food was delicious, and I have no complaints. My soup remained hot until we finished our bread, which was great. I wish I had reserved some extra gravy for my bratkartoffeln, which I enjoyed at the end of my main course, but it’s good to know I could have asked for more. The portion sizes were just right. Although I’m not a fan of mice cake, I was offered cookies for dessert. My mother couldn’t stop raving about how good the coffee was. I also appreciated the novelty decorations, crackers, and the small party popper boxes. Unfortunately, there was a diner at a nearby table who was overly loud and rude, constantly complaining to the staff, which did disrupt our experience a bit. The restaurant was quite full, providing a lively ambiance from other diners, but this person wanted to be the center of attention, which was rather embarrassing. Despite that distraction, I still enjoyed our meal and would happily return for Christmas 2023."

"You pay for the name and location here. Decor really isn’t that impressive and the service was really condescending and poor, very comical outlook considering who was sat at his table. Regardless, pre dinner nibbles came out after starters and there were many starter dishes missing. The majority of the starters were unimpressive, although must be said, the steak tartare was very very good. On to mains. Most of the table, mostly happy, couple complained about blandness. I ordered a wagyu steak, which was very well cooked, but slightly disappointing that the waiter decided to point out the price of the steak two or three times, as if I should reconsider the £100 steak, in case I couldn’t afford it. We paid the included service charge which was £110 on the £750 bill , however retrospectively, service wasn’t worth the price. I paid the bill as a treat to my table, waiter ignore all my guests and only said thank you to me and shook my hand come on!!!!! The food was good but the service experience and customer service really should be thought about."

"A slightly more mixed review this time. Lucky Cat remains a decent choice and service is impeccable, if a bit slow (but understandable on a busy night). But a few issues: one the music was very loud and we had to shout to be able to hear each other. Two, the menu has been revamped and simplified according to our waiter and just wasn 't as exciting as before. Three, the bill this time felt quite steep, even allowing for the location."

"I enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch, served by a very helpful and friendly gentleman. The only downside was that the benches outside were uncomfortable, and the seating inside wasn't much better. They only offered roast and had only two dessert options. I would have given it a 5-star rating if they had proper chairs instead of stools inside."

"It was great to be back at Kerridge’s which is one of our favourite places and once again we enjoyed another fabulous lunch. There’s always such a good friendly atmosphere which makes you feel that you are in an enormous pub. You also get the chance to enjoy fantastic food and drinks so really why wouldn’t you come back as many times as you can. Our visit on saturday started with a delightful welcome at reception before taking a seat in the the bar area for a pre lunch drink. This was to be a complimentary glass of champagne courtesy of manager Blaine who managed to come over for a chat before heading back to an already busy service. Once we’d finished our bubbles it was time to head to our table which was in one of their delightful booths. It was here that head waiter Anne took over and looked after us superbly for the rest of the afternoon along with Blaine who would pop over whenever possible. We started with a Cod Roe Crumpet snack along with Bread and Butter while we looked at the A la Carte menu. After a discussion with Anne about the menu and her recommendations we placed our order. We then chose a fabulous 2020 Dolcetto D’Alba a light and italian red wine from Piedmont. Now it was time for our starters where we chose the Hand Dived Orkney Scallop with yorkshire rhubarb , black pudding , cobble lane coppa. For myself I opted for the Orange Glazed Duck Rillettes with green peppercorns , pistachios , cognac jelly , sourdough toast and truffle butter. These were two fabulous dishes to get us of to a great start. Now we moved on to our main courses of the Beef Shin Pie with clotted cream mash , beef suet crumble and devilled peppercorn sauce. We also chose fish heaven in the form of a Fillet of Sea Bass with sicilian red prawns , lobster and seaweed butter , charred cucumber , pickled carrots and a parsnip purée. To accompany these dishes we ordered the heavenly triple cooked chips and hispi cabbage. After a nice little break it was time for dessert and boy was I in for a treat. My wife opted for the fabulous Banana Souffle with coconut sorbet and chocolate sauce. Now for myself when ever I see Apple Tarte Tatin on the menu then it’s a must have and this one along with vanilla ice cream and cardamom custard really will take some beating. It was an individual portion cooked in its own pot that was simply sublime. We finished with coffee and petit fours to bring to an end another fantastic visit to Kerridge’s. I really would recommend a visit here as the food from head chef Nick was amazing as always and the service led by Blaine , Anne and the team was first class. I for one will be looking forward to returning as soon as possible."

"my heart and I went yesterday to the (pre-booked) festive menu and it was sensational! for 25 £ each we enjoyed an excellent four-course menu and generous glass homemade glow wine, accompanied by the greastest customer service in a cozy Christmas party - but not over the top atmosphere. also the special Christmas beer on the tap was excellent. the make-over that this pub had since the takeover of the new owners is incredible and offers highest standards of eating with a fantastic price-performance ratio."

"I was notified 2 hours before arriving that if my group were to exceed 8 people, the company policy requires a minimum spend pP of 45 pounds. This was not indicated on the website where I booked. There was no way I was going to ask my guests (exceeding 8 after half an hour because other friends were brought along, as it often happens for birthday celebrations) for this with such short notice. It was impossible to find a solution with the manager where this rule would not apply. We ended up having to leave after 1 hour, resulting in the bistro missing out on the drinks and food 11 people would have ordered. Kind of a shame, given that it is nicely designed and has a good ambiente. Imo, the manager should have been flexible and handled this differently, allowing us to stay. In all fairness, we enjoyed a couple of pints in the hour we stayed!"

"This was an outstanding experience for two very ordinary people seeking a birthday treat. The 3 course Menu du Jour must be the best value in London and the wine carafes are reasonable in such a luxury venue. The food was delicious (of course! but it was the service and the outstanding kindness that I’ll remember. My friend received a signed birthday card from Tom (complementary and a special birthday message in his dessert. We must have been the table paying the least in the room that day but we were treated like royalty. Thank you so much Kerridge’s."

"We visited the Barn at Moor Hall for a family Christmas meal and, having been there before, we still adore the ambiance of the barn. The food was outstanding—both beautifully presented and delicious, with excellent service. As always, the front-of-house staff took great care of us. Watching the kitchen was a delightful experience, showcasing a calm and creative atmosphere. The Christmas decorations contributed to a warm, inviting dining experience. Overall, it was a wonderful day. Thank you!"

"eating was very tasty and portions were really decent. not a huge menu (3-4 options per category,) but overall we were made to feel worth and service was in order, but there were some long waiting times (approximately 25 minutes between starter and main - after we finish our starter and about 15 minutes until we actually managed to pay - we tried to catch the attention of one of the waiters.) Price/quality ratio was good, £15pp for a main and a common starter (big sign board for 4ppl.)"

"Great drinks and great service. One of the members of staff, Vanessa, was amazing and very helpful. Gave helpful suggestions and recommendations that we loved. She took the time to talk to us, and to make sure we were having a great evening. Could have spent all night there, and would come back just for the excellent service Vanessa gave. The drinks had beautiful flavours, really nice variety on offer and the staff were willing to surprise you with drinks or make something new if you wanted something a little different."
