"We waited over an hour for our first course, which turned out to be very overcooked duck served with vegetables that weren’t fresh. Unfortunately, we couldn’t eat it at all. We decided not to risk dessert and left after having coffee instead. The duty manager did apply a small discount to our bill, but it didn’t really make up for our disappointment. Additionally, the atmosphere was lacking; it felt more like sitting in the quiet of a church than a vibrant dining experience. On a positive note, the restaurant manager, a lovely Polish lady, was very apologetic, but it was clear she didn’t have the authority to resolve the situation."
