"The setting of the restaurant is beautiful, but the appetizer we ordered was overpriced and took an unusually long time to arrive. The Chicken Madras, which was my main course, came out at 6:50 PM. While the rice and naan were very tasty, the madras itself was disappointingly sweet, overly tomatoey, and lacked depth of flavor.
Since this was also a birthday celebration, we felt rushed and didn’t have time for dessert. We weren't the only ones facing issues; the table next to us also received the wrong drink and food orders. I have a fondness for the Penventon Hotel, having visited several times in the past and always enjoyed my experience, but last night was a complete disappointment.
If you are going to offer a pre-theater dinner service, it’s essential to allow customers enough time to enjoy their meals. I made an effort to accommodate this, and it was disheartening to see such a decline in standards. I hope you can improve, as I expected much better from you."
