"This is our favorite restaurant for a dinner night out, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. I have celebrated my last three birthdays here and each experience has been fantastic. I am slowly working my way through the menu, and so far I have not tried a curry that I did not enjoy! The service is excellent, with a rating of 5 out of 5. The atmosphere is also a 5 out of 5. The recommended dishes are the Tandoori Fish and Chicken 65. The price per person for dinner ranges from £20-30."

"I 'm not normally one for complaining but on this occasion I feel like I have to. I placed an order at the weekend through Just Eat (my 1st time using this method) and was informed that the estimated delivery time was 8pm, okay a 90 min wait which I could just about live with. As it turned out we waited 2 hours which I find totally unacceptable, the restaurant is a mile and a half away from where I live. When the meal arrived it was missing the onion Bhajis that we ordered. Rang the restaurant and was told we could knock it off our next meal, err I don 't think so. I stated we wanted them with our meal but apparently they were very busy and would deliver them as soon as possible, I 'm still waiting 2 days later. Thinking things couldn 't get any worse we plated our meals, well things did. The garlic supreme I ordered was supposed to have extensive use of garlic .....hmm, I think the chef, and I use the word chef loosely, forgot to add the garlic and the meal was not a good experience. My wife had a rogan josh, well a child 's sized portion anyway as the carton was only two thirds full at best. We also ordered a garlic nan and a peshwari nan, both which were so bland we thought they were just plain nan 's. A nightmare experience which spoilt our night, we won 't ever use the Nobin again, there are far superior restaurants in the area with better customer service. If I could have given no stars I would have done so."

"First off, going to the premises to collect my meal was promising, you can see the food being cooked, so that tells me they have nothing to hide and I was confident with the cleanliness of what I could see. The employees were polite with a friendly face and there were comfortable sofas to sit and wait on. The meal itself was absolutely beautiful. My favourite item was the veg samosas, definitely the best I’ve ever had. The popodums were melt in your mouth. I ordered a little side curry because I prefer to eat my curry with naan and popodums dipped in it/ scooped on top of the piece of naan/popodum rather than the usual rice and dump the sauce on it. I did have a rice as well though, don’t see many places offer garlic rice so I decided to try- again, flawless. I definitely recommend and will be back."

"I would not recommend giving this business any stars if I had the option. I placed an order, but it never arrived after waiting for hours following a long day of work. When I contacted them, I was informed that I would not be able to receive a refund. I regret not getting my money back after not receiving my order. "I ordered a tandoori full chicken for including the delivery and service charges , the menu said that full chicken comes with rice and salad and it takes minutes . the minutes passed and more than an hour after that the driver came but he neither buzzed the intercom nor phoned me but he was pushing the main door like there was no buzzer !!! I opened and took the food only to find the rice was not there , the salad was only onion and lettuce plus one small piece of tomato ! and the chicken itself was not cooked properly ! so I paid all those money only to have a disgusting chicken and missing rice .Extremely not professional with a negative attitude and dont deserve even this one star . just avoid them at all cost"

"We ordered from this place 3/4 times, all good no complains with curries and burgers. We made an order the other day weekday at 10pm) and when they brought the food there was a portion of chips missing, the pizza crust was completely black and burned, and after a slice I found a black hair between the pizza base and the cheese, so i'm sure is NOT mine! We called to get another pizza and our chips, but whoever answered the phone was very rude, saying that they are all bold at the restaurant and it was not possible! And after 10 min arguing he finally agreed to bring a new pizza, but only if we could show to the delivery guy the hair... After all that mean arguing i did not want any food from them, who know they could have spit on my new pizza... Never again!"

"Got some chips with curry sauce just now on my way home from work. The curry sauce is more like a spicy, warming butternut squash soup. On chips it's a bit weird tho, not really what I expected, and they didn't really go well together. I'd totally pay for this as soup with some flatbread on the side, I think it would easily be a hit at a posh café, so do keep it on the menu"

"A group of friends and I visited Glasgow and stumbled upon this charming restaurant. I was impressed by the beautiful paintings on the walls that brought back childhood memories. However, the food was a letdown. We ordered fish pakora and chili chicken, but the presentation of the chili chicken was unconventional and not to our liking. The taste was also disappointing. The Gol Goppa was a standout dish. The chicken Chettinadu and prawn korma were okay, but lacked authenticity. The biryani was overly buttery, overshadowing the spices and fragrance. The naan was the highlight of the meal. The staff was polite and the service was efficient. Overall, this restaurant may not be suitable for those seeking authentic Indian cuisine."

"I had booked a table for 2 as it was hubbies birthday. When we walked in we were warmly greeted and shown to our table upstairs. Please note there is a lift available). The chair was comfy and plenty of table room. The waiter brought our lunch menu and explained the dishes on offer. Please note they have changed the lunch menu to that shown on their site). It now a choice of three complete menu dishes. We ordered the meat menu and it arrived on a sectioned stainless steel plate and we were not disappointed what was on it. One section for starter, three section holding chicken, lamb different curries, boiled rice and chapatti. Oh boy was it tasty and we cleared our plates. We washed it down with a J20 and Coke. The bill was £25.80 to which £5.90 was for the drinks). I would recommend this place and for one will definitely be going back."

"We ordered 6 different dishes chosen by this establishment, and I'm sorry to say that utterly appalling was our conclusion. All three of us agreed that it was all practically inedible and disgusting. I was attracted initially by the fact that Nepali dishes were served here including mojo. The momo were inedible along with almost everything else we ordered including the nan bread which was so dried out, it was like cardboard. Obviously not made on site. We are amazed this place has been in business for any length of time. The on Y acceptable food we received out of nearly £40 of different dishes was the pilau rice. Very sad to report this, we has higher expectations. Avoid this place if you like good quality food."

"I hadn’t had a take away from Sonali for about 20yrs because I moved out of the area. However I’m back now I really fancied a curry tonight so went on line to find a take away that not only delivered but that I could also order and pay for online and Sonali Balti was the only local one that I could find. Delivery was stated as 60mins which was a bit disappointing as I was so hungry but I went ahead and ordered anyway. To my delight it was delivered 30mins later by a very polite young man. The food was piping hot and much more than I could manage, including complimentary poppadoms, so I have plenty left for another meal or two. The curry was delicious and just to my liking and the naan was light and fluffy. I will definitely be using them again!"

"As someone who has been a cook for many years and a lover of Indian cuisine, I recently visited this restaurant for the first time on my birthday. I must say that I was extremely impressed and even a bit frustrated that I only have one stomach, as the food was truly magical and delicious. The dishes prepared by the chefs were a delight to the taste buds and I was completely enamored with the flavors. Additionally, the restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and pleasant. "Had i wanted it 45 mins early i would have ordered it for then. No complimentary poppadums i think for a £40 order you could have thrown in a few like every other indian takeaway service. Just seemed mean. Plastic containers. So the food delivered earlier than ordered went cold. We couldn’t keep it warm. Also why are you adding to the use of plastics? We used to love to eat in the restaurant but the takeaway has disappointed us i’m afraid."
