"I was only in Colchester for one night and stumbled upon this charming pub with friendly staff and customers. I planned on just grabbing a quick bite to eat but ended up staying until closing time. It's a fantastic local pub and definitely worth a visit."

"Ate here on Father’s Day and was really impressed with the range of vegan options. There is a separate vegan menu and loads to choose from. I had the mixed grill which was a decent size and tasty. Was great that 90% of the deserts were vegan so when my daughter couldn’t eat her ice cream I could finish it off! Updated from previous review on 2021-06-21 Visited again last night (Aug 2021) and had the “lamb” skewers and “chicken” burger. Both tasted amazing! Updated from previous review on 2021-08-22"
