"Probably one of the best English breakfast the capital has to offer. The quality of ingredients, skill of the cook and the presentation are at its best here. Served in a relaxing atmosphere, even the decor of this place is fun and comfortable. Well done. OK I'm posting again on the 15/08/17 because I've just eaten possibly the best marinated chicken burger you can get. Absolutely delicious. Served up with fantastic onion rings and fries. The service here is also top notch. Be warned this place gets busy."

"It's a beautiful place to enjoy an excellent evening, whether you're going to have a coffee, or if you're looking for a good meal or you want to have a cocktail or a beer. Much of its charm lies in the setting and theme of the establishment based on French art. Both the interior and the terrace will make you feel as if you were in the 1920s Paris. Even the bathrooms are eye-catching and styled. All employees are educated and helpful. Although we were surprised that the ticket included the tip, we cannot complain about the treatment received. As soon as the food, the menu is varied enough to choose between several options and find something that draws your attention. The dishes are abundant and are cooked and tastefully presented. The price of the dishes given their location and quality has seemed correct. It is above other establishments that are in the area, but without being exaggerated. As a detail and if you like music it is worth mentioning that there are jazz concerts some Sundays, something that is definitely worth it."

"We had a delightful Sunday roast that was very satisfying, and we definitely got our money's worth. The charming little building created a cozy atmosphere, and they were kind enough to accommodate us and our dogs in a quiet area, even though it wasn't too crowded. "I 'm genuinely not sure if this is a real place or if we were inadvertently cast in a comedy sketch. A group of 6 of us arrived for lunch. It 's an order at the bar situation, and we ordered in 3 groups so we expected some difference in the timings of the dishes which is fine though not the 30 minutes between mine and my partners dish. When we asked the staff to check on the whereabouts of the much anticipated pizza, he returned to tell us it would be another 10 minutes as the pizza man was on his break ?? With every dish arrival there was the unusual question of do you want cutlery? , I haven 't eaten sausage mash and gravy with my hands before and today didn 't feel like the day to start. The staff seemed bewildered during any interaction. One bringing a lone spoon to us when we had no food, another bringing a second not ordered pizza at the end of the meal, another arrived to ask if we had finished our meal before we 'd even begun. We raised our complaints to the manager, who refunded some of the meals and offered us a free replacement which was appreciated, although declined. The food was subpar. The pizza was somehow both burnt and raw, the curry was cold, the Cumberland sausage unevenly cooked. The chips however very tasty."

"The restaurant offers a good selection of food and drinks, and surprisingly, it was quite quiet for a Friday night. Shortly after we were seated, we were asked if we were ready to order, which felt a bit premature. Following our first drink, we were asked to move to a different table because the staff wanted to ensure they didn't forget about us. I'm not sure if this place is newly opened or not, but while the food was enjoyable, the service felt a bit disjointed. It seemed more like the typical growing pains of a new venue rather than any incompetence. I’m definitely open to giving this place another chance, as I believe it has potential for improvement."

"Now, about the chicken—it’s wonderfully roasted to perfection and literally melts in your mouth. I can’t emphasize enough how disappointing Nando's tastes in comparison. As for the sides, there’s definitely room for improvement in the chicken department. Both the fries and the corn were delicious, but I think a wider variety of sides would enhance the meal even more. Finally, the house sauce comes highly recommended for chili lovers and smoky BBQ fans alike—it’s the perfect companion to the mouthwatering chicken. You absolutely have to try it! Overall, I’d give it an 8.5/10."

Our food ended up cold as the waiter was distracted by the football game. The menu was limited to just a few items, which was a huge disappointment compared to previous visits to the Stanmore Branch. The quality of the food was mediocre and not what we were used to. Additionally, we discovered that the chicken served at Pecking Order was the same as at Starbucks next door, which was disappointing. Overall, the experience was shocking and we do not recommend dining at this location."

"Despite having only one waiter working, he did his best to attend to all customers. The personal service provided by the waiter was excellent, but the overall dining experience was lacking as his attention was divided after the football match ended. This resulted in our food becoming cold as it sat waiting to be picked up. We brought this to the waiter's attention and received an apology, but no solution was offered to warm up the food. The menu was disappointing compared to previous visits to the Stanmore Branch, where the customer service and food quality were excellent. On a previous visit to Pecking Order at the Hive, the chef had to leave early due to an emergency, so the waiter or manager ended up cooking our food, limiting our options to only fried foods instead of their signature rotisserie chicken. We ended up enjoying the chicken and waffles, but it wasn't what we had initially wanted to order. The menu only offered four items: half chicken, burger or veggie burger, fries, and rice, which was a letdown in terms of variety and portion size. To top it off, we discovered that the same chicken served at Starbucks next door was also served at Pecking Order, which was a disappointment and raised questions about the restaurant's practices. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend it."

"Upon arriving, we were not greeted, and although the restaurant wasn't busy, the service was a bit slow. However, the food was excellent and made up for the wait. One aspect that really disappointed me was the restroom situation; there was no light in the ladies' room, so I had to use my phone's flashlight to see, which was quite inconvenient. It would have been better if they had closed the restroom temporarily until the repairs were completed, as this would have improved the overall customer experience."

"Sorry disappointing visit, on arrival we asked waitress for a table in the corner which needed wiping and clearing, she seemed unhappy doing this. Air con vent was blowing cold air so we asked a passing staff member if we could move to the back section of the resturant as it was empty, this was fine. Waitress was effiicient but not particularly welcoming, we mentioned it was for a birthday meal which she said i know youve mentioned this already! Tiny efforts would have been appreciated on Monday and made for a better evening."
