"We came here last month. The food is expensive but normally nice. But this time we ordered 4 starters and waited an hour for them to arrive. When they did finally arrive, they were cold! I think the chef made the food and left it there and forgot about it! The staff were helpful when we told them we had a problem. They took the food away but all the chef seemed to do was reheat the food in the microwave! Also the waiters were very quick to take away the plates even though there was still some food left on them! The peanut mix and poppadoms were the only decent thing we had. When u are spending £70/£80 on food it should at least be hot! This place has gone downhill. Very disappointed!"

"We had a wonderful evening at the restaurant and really savored the tasty food. Unfortunately, the special Valentine's Day dessert that was promised was not as impressive as we had hoped. The staff did a decent job, but seemed a little swamped with the busy night, causing some delays in service. The cheesecake we ordered was tasty, but we felt that the portion was too small for the high price. We were expecting to receive two pieces for the price, rather than just a small portion."

"Had a lovely time at Opso. Great food in good portions, served by attentive, friendly and professional servers, who made lovely recommendations and ensured we were cared for whilst we were there. A completely positive evening and considering the covid contingencies, spot on, one way system, all servers wearing masks and gloves. Felt perfectly comfortable and safe. Great overall evening. Definitely will be revisited"

" a cozy atmosphere and delicious food, you should definitely check out this restaurant. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive. The menu had a great selection of dishes to choose from and everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. Overall, a fantastic dining experience and we will definitely be returning in the future. "eating was great and good value. service was not good. we have a menu at 1046. we waited for the server and had to call him at last. order and then he brought another menu that said it was after 11 o'clock and we had to use the other menu that had more expensive prices. we explained that we had waited for him to come so that we could order, and we expect him to be bigger in the price design of the menu we had. he wouldn't do it, always said it was because it was after 11 o'clock. at this time it was 1110 or so. it was just a pain in the back and so not necessary. That was for three drinks we asked. maybe $8. only no good service. she had to keep calling for more water and so on."

"I didn't realize this restaurant was in a hotel, but we figured out our direction and made it in time for our reservation all the same. Laurel on the Roof is a cozy restaurant with panoramic views of London. We went for brunch and I had the full English breakfast and my husband had the French Toast, both of which were fabulous. We paired the meals with mimosas and other breakfast cocktails, which were well balanced. The wait staff were attentive but not overly enough to bother you. We felt free to enjoy our meal at a leisurely place. It was a great meal to end our trip to the UK."

"I visited Authentico with friends and had a wonderful experience; the food and service were exceptional. Sadly, when I took my husband there for the first time, we encountered some issues. The food was just as delicious as I remembered, but the restaurant was clearly struggling with staffing, and we faced long wait times both for our table and for our meal. While this could have dampened our spirits, the authentic Italian food and wine remained the highlights of our visit, which is why we choose this place over a chain restaurant. It would have been helpful to receive a heads-up about the potential delays in service."

"We planned to have a leisurely meal with three courses and drinks, but the food was so subpar that we didn't even bother with dessert or coffee. The Bruschetta we ordered as an appetizer was mediocre at best - cold, hard toast topped with cold tomatoes and a basil leaf. The main dishes were no better. My expensive Amalfi Pizza was tasteless, undercooked in the middle, and burnt around the edges. We ended up spending over £93 for a disappointing meal in a restaurant with no ambiance. The experience was miserable, and I would not recommend dining at Lupo's to anyone."

"I was with my daughter and her boyfriend the night before her 21st birthday. We were confronted by a loud and pushy waiter who encouraged them to choose expensive cocktails and his favourite menu items. The bill came to £168 with what appeared to be a mandatory service charge of 12.5% ...... certainly not good value for money, as we all left the restaurant still feeling hungry, after spending, I repeat, £168 for 3 people! There was also no reference to my daughter's birthday, even though I asked for it to be celebrated on the restaurant's Special Instructions. Will probably not go there again."
