"We were in Bristol for the weekend a group of six of us went to Namaste Nepal. The service was incredible and all the dishes were really tasty. The vegetarian thali was extremely good value and we could not believe the amount of food that came with this! The traditional Nepalese dishes are highly recommended too particularly the daal tarkari."

"We like Vermillion a lot. We have been going there for years and the quality has been consistently high. The environment is nice and the waiters always very kind. We have found that the temperature of the room tends to be a little on the cold side, mostly in contrast with the softness of the carpet and the colors chosen for the walls, but this is just a matter of personal taste. Food is consistently very good. Prices are noticeably higher than other Indian takeaways in the surroundings but the cost seems more than justified by the tastiness of the food and the experience of dining-in. I usually enjoy large portions. I like that in the case of Vermillion they are manageable: they are large enough to satisfy me but not too large that I would be able to eat only 1 thing. Most recipes are in fact very rich with cream and sauces. Tonight we tried to share a starter of prawns (really good) and 1 main of lamb to be able to taste 4 different vegetarian sides. We loved the variety, flavour texture of each course."

"Quick service, polite staff but food was average I ate here to celebrate a friend's birthday and was pleasantly surprised by the ease of finding the restaurant,the decor and friendliness of staff. My friend had quite a hot/spicy dish which she said she enjoyed but my dish was bland (I cant take spicy and ordered a mild dish but I was disappointed that there was no taste and that the food was not as hot as it could have been). I also have allergies and when I have been in other Indian restaurants they were able to amend dishes so that I could partake. Unfortunately this restaurant was unable to do this and I was left feeling underwhelmed. In saying this staff were friendly and our meals were delivered quickly and we didn't feel at all rushed in this restaurant (we did dine early though and had booked a table online for an early evening meal). PRICES: good bare in mind that you will need to order rice and nann separately unless you are ordering a set meal which can push the price up a bit but it is still reasonably priced."

"We have been here a couple of times before. On this occasion I went there about 2pm on a saturday afternoon for lunch as I was driving through Oxford. It was a good place to go as I was able to park my car at the very nearby Railway station parking which offers parking for a full day for about £4. Dosa Park is cafe style in its decor and ambience. Typically for a place like this, it attracts mostly students and asian tourists who are perhaps missing home cooked food. It was easy to get a table and the service is fairly quick. They have an extensive menu. The Idli sambhar I ordered was good except I found the sambhar too hot (taste wise) which is maybe a personal thing. The other two condiments or chutneys were flavoursome. The Idlis were steaming hot when they arrived but they seemed quite hard. They may have been frozen and reheated in a microwave. Still, they were ok. Reasonably priced. Great selection for vegetarians. May stop by here again if in the area. Enjoy!"

"I would like to start off my review with praise for the staff and the decor of the establishment. I absolutely loved the unique decoration of the inside of the restaurant, from the strobes of multicoloured lights, the glass mosaics and drawings and the Afghan Styled (as I had been informed) seating in the lower end of the restaurant, which was not made for our family style but we are very sure is much appreciated by those who do use it. The staff was very helpful for my visit, I would like to thank the waiters and the hosts who were always alert for their kind hospitality, as well as the chef 's for their nice food. in my most humble opinion, the food was very good, though could be improved. "eating is good, but they can't make decent leti. the service was inconsistent. the table was not cleaned after the net and before dessert. Saturday night was empty. in the upper floor was a party and very loud blowing with their own music. it is not a private room; it is open and clearly visible from below, so not ideal for diners who want to chat. the management has changed hands again last year. iron out these knicks and it would be a great place."

"When I first ate at this restaurant it was really good value for money as i booked the 50% offer. However on this occasion, the menu had changed and the prices have increased. Nevertheless, the food is tasty and not oily, but a bit too spicy. I t would be good if they could give the option on whether you want the dishes mild, medium or hot. Service was really good and quick. The staff are very attentive. I will definitely go again, but only if opentable or restaurant had the 50% offer!"

"We made a reservation for Friday afternoon for Lunch and upon arrival found restaurent was closed . To our luck chef Deepak Dhami was there and he ensured that our date was saved . He opened the restaurent for us , made us comfortable , played lovely Music , Poured us some wine and took our order . He personally served us the food on table and to my surprise every single dish was amazing we tried Tandoori chicken , Tawa fry fish, Chilli chicken , Lamb roganjosh with chilli and garlic naan . "Rude and unprofessional waiter, will never go there. We called before going to the restaurant and they said come we are open and no booking required. After reaching, they asked to come after 30min as they are still opening at 4:51pm. I asked if we can wait as outside it was cold but even in more colder attitude he replied we are not open yet, comeback after 30min. Even though officially it should be open at 5pm but we were 9min early but that also because they asked to come. Never went back and will never either."

"The food was average , the waiters in general didn’t care and the service was poor. One of the waiters spilt water whilst pouring into the glass onto one of our friends arm and just ignored and went on his way no apology no tissues to wipe etc. we had to ask around to get tissues to wipe the mess the waiter made. I have to say though the main waiter for our table was ok. Will never return and would not recommend it to anyone either."
