"What an absolute find! We happened on this restaurant while visiting Chelsea. TPH is an elegant restaurant featuring a wonderful balance of mainstream dishes with a sophisticated twist. A perfect example is the samosa appetizer. Light and fluffy on the inside and delicately crisp on the outside. This would have been great on it’s on own but was served with a chickpea stew combining a wonderful blend of herbs and spices that made it one of the best things I’ve eaten in quite some time. The menu features rich, textured curries, perfectly tender meats, fresh seafood and veggie dishes served by a gracious husband and wife team who truly care about your dining experience. All this and not while not putting a big dent in your pocketbook. We will definitely be back."

"Terrible experience. Restaurant was short staffed and therefore waiting time was nearly 45mins without any communication. What little food we did have however, was very nice, bar the Fusca, which was probably the worst I’d had. Such a shame really. We were offered the dessert menu, 20 minutes after we’d been left waiting for the remaining food. The waiter was pleasant, and I actually felt sorry for him. But nonetheless, our food order had been forgotten, and we had hardly eaten anything. He was clearly under pressure and this is purely down to poor management, and the owners prioritising external events they were catering for on this particular Saturday evening ; the restaurant itself clearly wasn’t of any importance. Had to make a last minute reservation at an alternative restaurant; elderly and disabled mother was struggling and two children with me were tired and starving. Wasted journey."

"Update 31/1/18: I've now been to the actual restaurant which is a nice modern space. Food was great as always, service a touch weird as the server was just very quiet. We have had takeaway from the Yak and Yeti several times (they deliver further if you phone the restaurant than if you try and order on Hungryhouse). They have a whole vegan section of the menu with over 20 dishes and so far we've tried about 10 and haven't been disappointed with any. All the dishes are very reasonably priced at around £6.95 for a curry dish and the vegan special fried rice and mushroom rices are excellent. With a vegan section to make it so easy, we don't bother trying to get curry anywhere else! Only thing to note is that when we order they often send a couple of free poppadoms and I think the generic green dip they send with it is (non-vegan) yogurty. They have also been very accommodating by providing a variant of a menu dish for a vegetarian. Prices are great for the quality and flavour. "This neighborhood cafe is a hidden gem! My family recently moved to the area and stumbled upon this place. I'm now envious that every parade of shops doesn't have a spot like this. I wish I had this cafe at the end of my street, I would definitely become a regular. The decor is casual and welcoming without being messy. They offer a great selection of sandwiches, which can be toasted as well. The coffee is excellent and reasonably priced. The cakes looked tempting, so I'll definitely have to go back to try them."

"Had previously used this takeaway before and they had been great. Ordered a takeaway tonight using their website which is very slow and you would think it wasn’t working properly but miraculously the food arrived a suspiciously rapid 25 minutes later. There was no 10% discount that was advertised on the menu. Delivery woman claimed not to know about any discount. The popadums were stale. No sauces with onion bhaji. Bag of soggy hot lettuce. Chicken nilgiri starter was 4 very salty dyed green lumps of sponge. No mint flavour at all. Chana masala watery and lacking any flavour. Chicken fried Rice was bland although being the most expensive rice. Chicken Dhansak was in the same watery sauce as the chana masala not a sweet and hot sauce. It contained dry and old tasting lumps of indiscriminate ‘meat’ which made me literally sick. I think I may send it to a lab to be examined! Nothing tasted fresh and the woman who delivered it didn’t even thank me for the tip. Do not use this place they don’t deserve to be in business."

We've just moved into Crystal Palace and this restaurant has now rescued us three times from the horrors of unpacking and locating the cutlery box Ate in the first time, very warm service, had the Hariyali chicken (fragrantly hot), a decent jalfrezi, and a slow cooked Nepalese lamb dish. Have had a couple of takeaways since, which arrive promptly and warm, so can also recommend the Chettinad chicken, the okra, the methi paneer and the methi lamb Reliable, tasty, happy-to-serve, and keenly priced, which is what you really want from your local standby."

"The food was average , the waiters in general didn’t care and the service was poor. One of the waiters spilt water whilst pouring into the glass onto one of our friends arm and just ignored and went on his way no apology no tissues to wipe etc. we had to ask around to get tissues to wipe the mess the waiter made. I have to say though the main waiter for our table was ok. Will never return and would not recommend it to anyone either."

"The portion sizes are quite decent and offer good value for the price. I did find the naan a bit small, but that’s a minor detail. I would love to see a Tandoori option on the menu, though I understand that local preferences might not lean towards Tandoori dishes. "I dined at this restaurant on Saturday evening with five friends after receiving a recommendation from a family member. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the restaurant was empty except for two other diners, and the lighting was very bright and unwelcoming. Despite the initial setback of the staff being unaware of our booking and not having a table prepared for six, they quickly rectified the situation and we were attended to by a very attentive waiter. Our food selections were excellent, but the waiter's recommendations were even better. I would recommend this restaurant, however, the ambiance could be greatly improved by adjusting the lighting and upgrading the tableware. Adding tablecloths and candles would also enhance the dining experience. A more welcoming atmosphere could potentially attract more customers."

"New owner fantastic food. Having been a big fan of Tamasha for many years ,when long serving manager Bilop took over at Madhuwan Felt I had to give it a try. Although not situated in the best part of Bromley this is a must visit restaurant.The sauces for all our food was cooked fresh and although this does mean a slightly longer delay it is well worth the wait. All the ingredients seemed really fresh and the squid starter was fantastic ! The prices are very reasonable and an absolute steal for the quality of food especially compared to the prices at Tamasha ."

"I don't use to write such a bad review, however they gave me no choice. I have never had such a long and mediocre experience in a restaurant. We sat at 7.30pm and the restaurant was nearly empty. After a while we ordered 2 starters and 5 main courses. The starters arrived in 20 minutes and the rest of the food at 9.40 when we were nearly leaving the restaurant after have asked few times about our order. The food was OK. Expect my order who was wrong. I received something like peas and zucchini when I asked for a mix grill. They brought me another one which was supposed to go to another table. The meat and the fish was dried and not so tasty. We ate everything because we were really starving at that point but I actually didn't finish mine, so I shared with my friends who agreed with me about the quality. We paid our bill and after that we said we should have been entitled to have a discount. The answer was that the service charged hadn't been added because of that. The service charge is optional and, of course, we weren't willing to pay for that. A discount and an apology would have been very kind and shown some respect for the customers. Inconveniences happen but the attitude was unacceptable. Please don't go. Ps:the table behind us waited 2 hrs as well, the table in our right was out in 20 minutes. Basically,everything is randomly served."

"To end a great day out in London my wife and I decided to have a curry close to our hotel just south of the Tower Bridge. Having been to this restaurant before I expected to enjoy it. Oooops! The service was little short of truculent, denied that wine could be served by the glass (although it was on the menu) and made my wife feel foolish when asked can you ensure the corry is not too spicy . The reply Madam, a Korma is a Korma it cannot be changed was little short of downright rude. The food arrived and was OK but of its time nothing special.... Later we had hoped to be asked if we wanted coffee etc, but on clearing the plates the bill was handed to us without prompting. Overall a dreadful let down to itself. I highly recommend you keep on walking. The competition is far too good to accommodate this type of outlet. Also, beware the service charge. Yes, it is charged, and not very clearly."

"We had a poor experience yesterday at Noor Jahan2 I'm sorry to say .We've had many great meals there in the past . The waiters seemed to have forgotten that we were there .. Papadums didn't arrive , and they forgot about samosas starters , which arrived after the main dishes.. The chicken pieces were very chewy .. Anyway I hope this was a one off and we will visit again in the future."
