"Wow, this place I mean. Viceroy doesn't deserve 5 stars though. 5 isn't simply enough. This has been hands down the very best Indian/Asian food I ever had in my live and such a memorable culinary experience. Had a business meeting there, got in 15 min early as we didn't know what time they opened, the head chef let us in himself and cooked for us. While we were the first and only customers we got imoecabble service from their staff, Chef himself recommended their signature appetizers which was a combo of 3 meats and veggies. The taste was mind blowing and the meal one I will remember for a very long time until I come back and let them surprise me with their culinary art again. Top quality, medium/high prices and definitely the best restaurant in the entire Birmingham area. Hope Michelin swings by to add that one star I could add in here."

"Sorry to be the odd ball here, but I just wasn't that impressed with the food. My husband and I ordered a takeaway from this restaurant, trying something different from our normal Indian takeaway mainly because neighbours had recommended it, but we were hugely disappointed. The food wasn't really bad but just wasn't really that good either. I found it bland and hot without the spice. My husband also didn't find it that tasty and in particular felt there was more sauce then actual fish in his serving. He called to check the amount of fish that should have been in the serving and staff did confirm that his portion was a little less then what it should have been and offer compensation next time he ordered from them, which was a nice gesture but I think though its always great to try something new we will be sticking to our old takeaway."

"the restaurant was busy and the service was good that they even accommodated us because of the train too late. we had the meme for two, but unfortunately the hawn kebab was over boiled and dry and slightly burned and the lamb balls were also dry. that I fought to cut one in the half was so hard. the garnels tasted of nothing and the sosse in which they were, were also very blasphemy, so the sose was the fleshballs. the coleslaw of the chicken kebab was on appeared to be old, as the koleslaw was just a soggy-mash with hardly any cripple on it, we were told that it is made daily, but I could not help think it was bought in huge catering tubs or if it is sold daily old/close after date produced. the positive is the first cure was beautiful the Greek brot with cuddly and red pfeffer spicy dip. I am sad to say for somewhere with good reviews, it was very disappointing and we will not go back"

"Friendly pub style atmosphere and pub setting, but with an extensive range of Italian food and drink at very reasonable prices mezza style buy several small dishes and share them between yourselves. The service was quick and very personable, always with a smile, the food was tasty, and we were given advice about dishes we didn't know, which was helpful too. It's very definitely an English pub with very definitely and Italian undertone! Loads of parking space. Access for people with limited mobility very easy. The outside eating area was equally lovely on a warm night, and we had drinks on the terrace with patio heaters at the end of the evening. Definitely a place to go back to."

"We booked Tangia last minute for a Saturday night meal for a group of friends. We were warmly welcomed and greeted by the Chef/Owner who talked us through the menu and made us feel very welcome. Service was prompt and the food and drink choices were good, the lamb shank was excellent and every dish was very pleasant. We would very happily return."

"I’m not sure what has taken me so long to write a TripAdvisor review for this place as it’s amazing. The food is incredible, and if you like something hot, the hot garlic chicken resunga won’t disappoint. The chicken tikka masala is a favorite with our teenagers and I think my husband has pretty much tried everything on the menu, and he loves it all! The staff are friendly and make a fuss every time we go, without being too intrusive. Their warmth and attentiveness truly enhance the dining experience. "One of the best meals I've had in recent memory. The moules marinerre had me scraping the bowl for the last of the broth/sauce, both it and the bisque were so warming and comforting with the bread making a perfectly buttery accompaniment for dipping/mopping. Ideal for a cold winters evening. The skate in lobster butter for main was unbelievable, the skate was as moist and delicate as the sauce was decadent (not to mention it being a very generous portion). Even the desserts were delicious, in particular the sorbet which was lovely and refreshing after such a hearty starter and main. These are the meals you dream of when going to a seaside town. Everything was cooked to perfection, lovely staff and ambience. I can't praise this place enough."

I only eat and take my friends,family or colleagues to this establishment, because of the tasty food, quality and the love the chef puts into the...individual dishes.
