"This restaurant continues to impress with its ability to completely satisfy customers. After our first visit a month ago, we immediately decided to return and we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic, the draft Cobra and Kingfisher beers were refreshing, and the service was impeccable. This has become our go-to spot whenever my old school buddy and I meet up. Drummond Villa is the perfect choice for us and we see no reason to go anywhere else. We are already eagerly anticipating our next visit!"

"Fantastic, flavoursome, fresh meals. Often curries are heavy with ghee but these were wonderfully light and the flavours really shone through. We had the garlic chilli chicken, the masu lamb and the 21 spice chicken, all delightful. Definitely coming here again."

"Brilliant Indian Cuisine and Restaurant. The restaurant is located, like most in Bath, downstairs from the main street (the basement). You walk down a well lite introduction alley way, and then downstairs into the restaurant where you sit and Indian Style Booths. The food is brilliant, particularly the sample taster meals such as the Tandoori Bengal Platter and the Bengal Meat Thali (pictured in this post). Both of these allow you to have a good selection of tastes without being tied down to one curry. The waiters were very pleasant and helpful. For example, when we ordered the two platters, the waiter asked if we would like different naans and dips from the standard in order to have a greater selection of tastes. Alcohol is a little over priced, £5 a pint, but this is starting to become standard for restaurants nowadays anyway. Lovely food and pleasant visit."

"I have visited this restaurant around 20 times and I enjoy the food. They frequently include extra onion bhajis with the meal. One positive aspect is that they provide options for lower oil content, just specify your preferences when ordering. Some reviews have mentioned slow delivery and mix-ups with orders. While I did experience a mix-up on New Year's Eve, I understand it was a busy time. I would recommend allowing an additional 5-10 minutes beyond the estimated 30-minute wait time, as it is not always as fast as advertised. Personally, I have never opted for delivery service."

"We booked a meal for 28 friends. I have to say that it was probably the best Indian meal I have ever had. I find that at a lot of restaurants all the dishes taste similar, but Spice Village was very different. All the dishes had very distinctive flavours. A simple dish like bang bang cauliflower was absolutely amazing. The service was excellent and we were well looked after. Very pleasant staff, nothing was too much trouble. Can highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back. Thank you to Ash and all his staff for a great evening."

"Havn't been to the Greyhound for a while, nipped in for lunch and will definitely be back. Staff were lovely, good choice of well kept beers, and despite being really busy found a table easily enough and food was fresh, good value and came out quickly despite having a couple of big groups in. "First time visit, the staff were very accommodating as 2 people in our family are disabled and needed a space big enough for wheelchair access. The food was delicious. Everybody enjoyed their meal. The staff were friendly and provided a great service. The restaurant was very busy for a Thursday evening which is always a good sign. I would definitely recommend the fish tikka sizzling dish, my mum does not like spicy food but commented on how delicious it was. Prices a little more expensive than other Indian restaurants we have eaten at but the food was good quality, will be certain to visit again."

"I dined at this restaurant on Saturday evening with five friends after receiving a recommendation from a family member. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the restaurant was empty except for two other diners, and the lighting was very bright and unwelcoming. Despite the initial setback of the staff being unaware of our booking and not having a table prepared for six, they quickly rectified the situation and we were attended to by a very attentive waiter. Our food selections were excellent, but the waiter's recommendations were even better. I would recommend this restaurant, however, the ambiance could be greatly improved by adjusting the lighting and upgrading the tableware. Adding tablecloths and candles would also enhance the dining experience. A more welcoming atmosphere could potentially attract more customers."

"My father and I visited this restaurant on Christmas Eve and were pleasantly surprised to find that it was under new management. We have been coming to different versions of this restaurant for years and were extremely pleased with the new changes. I ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh, while my father had the Vindaloo. We also shared some Saag Paneer and Bhaji, all of which exceeded our expectations. The service was exceptional as well. "this restaurant is a long favorite restaurant, but last year has undergone a change of owner and manager. on the august the food (crisis fried snapper and the coconut crumb part of a Caribbean menu) were very good, but the service was indifferent. all the good waiters we used to know seemed to have disappeared. when we came to pay the bill, they refused to record the order issued on our frequent customer card and refused to accept the Toptable Essscheck. not a coherent reason. so I didn't leave a tipp. I think it'll take a long time to come back. there are other good Indian restaurants like khyber in croydon."

"The restaurant is excellent, I've been there before. My dissappointment is with OpenTable.co.uk (only the table reservation page. The restaurant is, I insist. This time I had to cancel the reservation. However, this was not possible via the link provided by OpenTable.co.uk, which is no coincidence, this was programmed: OpenTable.co.uk website collects the credits when they refer to customers, but does not want to deal with them when plans change. OpenTable.co.uk website then 'suggests' to call the restaurant directly and I know that 's how it works, I did the same thing that worked in a large company dispute department. The more customers you 'deal direct ', the better. But I didn't expect a company to be as inconspicuous as OpenTable.co.uk and that's why I'm never gonna use their 'service' again."
