"Hate to write this review as Mint has always been amazing.. but today we received rice with salt in instead of coconut, we only realised after we mixed the rice with our curries. We phoned up and they were great and sent out what we thought was new rice and curry, however it was just the new rice. So now we only have a little bit of curry we could save from the salt with the new rice : feel so sad writing this review as the food is always great, but the situation is annoying and we aren't getting the money back for having to waste most of a curry."

"My friends and I ate here using the Eat Out Help Out discount. I can't fault the food, it was really delicious and good portion sizes. Social distancing is non existent here. The tables are really close together. My friends chairs were touching the chairs of the party on the next table. We asked if we could move to another table that didn't back onto other tables. The head waiter was quite rude and said that the restaurant was fully booked and he wouldn't keep moving as around as new guests arrived (as the evening went on no other guests came to the restaurant). He added if we didn't like it then to go somewhere else. We ended up cramming onto one side of the table. By that time we have been waiting an hour for our main course to come out and it was getting late to try and attempt going to another restaurant. Otherwise, we would have left at that point. We understand restaurants are having a tough time, so didn't want to make too much of a fuss."

"We wanted try Zayka as the reviews were so good. Best in Ealing etc etc. We were quite excited. However we were not wowed by the food or the restaurant. I would say this is very average Indian fayre with a hint of Nepalese and Goyan thrown in. Our menus were sticky from previous customers use which didnt bode too well. The Food was not particularly inspiring, restaurant table layout not the best for a comfortable evening out. Our waiter was clearly a newbie and really didnt know how to wait. Plates taken away before we had finished etc. Zayak is certainly not the best in Ealing and there are others that are better. We could see that a lot of customers were regulars and I guess very local and it seems that the restaurant relies heavily on this customer base. It all seemed abit tired and in need of some inspiration to attract a new breed and maybe generation of customer. Not bad but not brilliant."

"Had visited this place for a friends wedding party and from start to finish the whole experience for everyone was terrible and not what you’d expect at a meal. The food was tasteless and cold, the drinks wasn’t even fuzzy but flat like they’ve been sitting there for months, there was only one waiter running around doing all the work while all the others was in the kitchen. When confronting the owner EMRAN he wasn’t apologetic knowing his food was terrible and most of the guests was leaving without food hungry. (220 Guests) When another guest left a trip advisor review he personally called them up and that he had no right to post that review, and was being very rude. My Nephew got food poisoning and was in A&E for 2 days after this event. This place is a no go people. 0Stars and please stay far away from it. Very run down place. Also the owner Money hungry EMRAN, needs to have better personal hygiene, he smells like the toilets in his restaurant."

"The food at Miraj is outstanding and has become my favorite Indian takeout spot. After trying all the other options in my area, I can confidently say that none compare to the delicious flavors and tender lamb found in their balti dishes. The delivery team at Miraj is also very friendly. While the prices may be a bit high, I still believe it deserves a 5-star rating. I have noticed that prices in general have increased due to the cost of living crisis. For instance, a large Pizza Hut meal deal on Deliveroo now costs £30, whereas at Miraj I can get two mains, rice, naan, and a side dish for £40, plus a complimentary cobra when ordering directly from them. Some may find the £5 naans to be pricey, but I personally find them to be a better value compared to other places like Pizza Hut, which are pricier and offer lower-quality food."

"Masala gate was my most favourite Indian restaurant, when I moved to Canterbury I was so pleased to have found an Indian to my taste, I raved to everyone about it. But things have changed, and I have given it 3 more tries before I need to look for somewhere else. The price has gone up considerably but unfortunately the standards have dropped, not sure if they have changed their chef, but it's really not good. We had a prawn korma, which should be nice and creamy, well it was like water, and the prawns were as big as a 5p piece, or as small. So overall we are just disappointed that something that was so good is now mediocre at best. Such a shame."

"Searched online for a nearby curry house and found this one which wasn't too far away from the Travelodge were we were staying. Rang to book a table and asked the person on the phone if we could bring our own beer with a response of yes. On arrival bit surprised of the location in a housing estate but we decided to stay. Lamb Bhuna nothing like I am used to with a strange taste but the lamb was excellent. Garlic nan not up to scratch either. During the meal the owner came over and moaned that we were drinking our own lager as they were licensed, I explained that when we booked we were told it would be ok and that he should moan at his staff not his paying customers in the middle of eating their meal. really annoyed about this. Because of his attitude and the food quality I would not reccomend this restaurant."

"New owners have ruined a great restaurant. I'm local and have been eating in and having take away for 10+ years, never had such poor service or food as tonight. The staff made several mistakes with our order, and when I took the order back they refused to accept their mistake despite the very clear evidence of completely wrong dishes! On top of that the food we did have was really poor quality. This used to be a great place to eat, but the combination of rising prices, poor service and now wrong orders means we won't go again. "Not our favourite. This is the first Indian takeaway we have had that wasn’t great. It was our first order here, we usually go to one in Brookmans Park. We ordered 2 x tikka, 1 x Jalfrezi, 3 x mushroom rice and 1 x garlic naan. The tikkas were bland and brown see image. The rice was also bland, we usually love mushroom rice. The jalfrezi was standard but the chicken was a bit tough. The naan was great flavour but quite small. Order arrived on time and the man was really lovely but the food is just okay. We probably wouldn’t order here again, sorry guys."

"First thing is they never had us booked in..claimed we hadn't ordered until I showed him confirmation.. We waited a wee while and were seated . 15 minutes too get a drinks order and 25 too take order.. Starters were lovely. Then downhill from here.. They had massively overbooked and people were standing right at our table waiting to be seated.. front door constantly open and it was absolutely freezing sitting at table. After 1 hour after starters our food came out.. 3 out of 4 of us had to send food back as it was cold. They obviously just microwaved it and chicken was then hard and rice turning hard.. Ate what we could by this time I asked for bill and when I got it I said about quality was bad and service was terrible.. Paid a £160.18 bill thinking this was high.. Also when they served us our food it was just randomly put down ..they never once asked who ordered what.. When I saw them taking other people's food out as well they carried as much as they could and on 3 occasions I saw the curry bowls sitting on the naans. When I got back to hotel I noticed a 10 percent service charge .. I was so angry as service was terrible.. Putting an extra £14.57 onto the bill.. I really wish I read bill properly before leaving.. Never again ..I would give minus stars if I had option"

"Called for a pre diner meal. We arrived and ordered 2 course meals. The staff were helpful and professional. The starters arrived and were well cooked and spiced. They were excellent. We finished these and the main courses and sides arrived. Again they were 1st class. I ordered a madras and it was spiced to perfection. The rest of the dishes were all superb. All of us agreed that it was some of the best Indian dishes we have eaten. It was the first time there but will be back."

"I made a reservation online and received confirmation via email. On the day of our reservation, myself and my friends arrived at the restaurant only to be told they were fully booked. Despite showing my confirmation, the staff informed me that they had only been open for 2 weeks and were not online. After speaking with the manager, we were eventually seated at a table (despite many empty tables available). We waited an hour for our food to arrive and had to request cutlery and napkins as they were not provided. While waiting, a large table who were also waiting for their food ended up leaving. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon."

"Previous reviews of this place are not all positive. I don't know if it's changed hands or what but I give it 5 stars, full marks. We've ordered 5 times since we moved to the area in August. Perfection every time! Different friends and family members from all over the UK have enjoyed the food when they have visited and they all agree; it's a cut above the usual Indian food. I order through Uber eats so have no direct contact with the place but I'm planning to visit as soon as COVID restrictions allow."

"This restaurant was a bit of a disappointment given the good reviews. We ordered the mixed platter but only received 3 of the 4 items set out on the menu. When we complained the waiter insisted that Onion Bhaji and Vegetable Pakora was the same item, which I know it's not. We still got charged the full price. The waiter also cleared the plates while I was still eating, which I found rude. The restaurant was 3 quarters empty so no need to rush us. Food was average. I will neither return nor recommend this establishment. Given the vast number of Indian restaurants you're bound to find somewhere better."
