"We wanted try Zayka as the reviews were so good. Best in Ealing etc etc. We were quite excited. However we were not wowed by the food or the restaurant. I would say this is very average Indian fayre with a hint of Nepalese and Goyan thrown in. Our menus were sticky from previous customers use which didnt bode too well. The Food was not particularly inspiring, restaurant table layout not the best for a comfortable evening out. Our waiter was clearly a newbie and really didnt know how to wait. Plates taken away before we had finished etc. Zayak is certainly not the best in Ealing and there are others that are better. We could see that a lot of customers were regulars and I guess very local and it seems that the restaurant relies heavily on this customer base. It all seemed abit tired and in need of some inspiration to attract a new breed and maybe generation of customer. Not bad but not brilliant."

Booked this restaurant for a catch up dinner with an old friend and we were not disappointed. Food was delicious and what made the experience highly enjoyable was the attentive and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

A lovely warm and friendly welcome always. Service is good and attentive. Menu is very interesting and diverse in terms of Indian food. Choices of Goan Nepalese and Indian continent favourites. We had a big birthday family meal. Excellent.

Service was superb, attentive and efficient but never intrusive. Food was excellent quality and delicious. Lovely quiet atmosphere, good lighting -not too bright and not so dim that you can’t see what you’re eating. Overall excellent dining experience. Confidently recommend. View menu

before a recipient of good reviews, this eatery has deteriorated into a tired provider of getting to certain regular. the service is admirable, but the chef can need a holiday. it has the unpleasant quality to remove its clothing with its kocharoma for days after the visit. the service redeems it, but there are serious peripheral problems.

Unfortunately I've lost all my previous past on OpenTable due to an email change and the impossible system to swap this over but I have dined here many times in the past. Unfortunately the boss of the outfit wasn't working Bank Holiday Sunday night and there was a little slip in terms of service which was a real shame Our food was spot on as usual apart from one of our party finding the colouring in her king prawns a bit excessive. Brought us the wrong drinks but did rectify. We'll be back

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
